Moin people, I’ve been driving my Cooper S (Bj. ’02) for about half a year now! I’m actually very happy! Just make a hell of a fun thing! 1. Question: My passenger seat cracks when jmnd. sits on it! It’s about the leather seats with seat heating. When I drive over a bump it cracks as if a screw or the like were banging against the shell. Isn’t it quiet and really annoying. Anyone has had experiences with it? What could it be? How to fix it? 2. Fra ge: My gearbox cracks or scratches while switching. You can only hear it from outside. And the gear lever “scratches” just a little bit while gearing. Gear oil? Or can it be something else? Someone with experiences? 3. Question: When I have the climate on, every time I stand up the engine fan goes on and turns full pulley. When I start again it goes out. I know this also from other vehicles, but not EVERY time I stand :/ With my old Punto was It’s the cylinder head gasket. But the engine temp also fluctuated. That’s not the case with the mini! Someone would like to know if this is normal? I would like to thank you very much for your answers! MfG Chris

Hi, I’m currently choosing which of my next cars could be… I think in many directions, such as the Q5 or A5… but also the Mini. Now I have a few questions that I’ve collected. I find the variant of the JCW with the red roof and the red mirror caps particularly nice at the moment. Question for me is now…can I order this from the Cooper S or is it only available at the JCW? Then I’m interested in the other difference between S and JCW – is Is this “only” the engine, exhaust system + brakes or are there other features that stand out? I would have the car leasen, but would still have great interest in having the air hat, the radiator grille and the headlight rim in black – there are accessories that you can install from time to time if you give the leasing car back or how is this done? Painted? And then another basic question about the mini – a friend of mine has a Cooper S, one of the first mod elle… now I was at Mini yesterday and I had the feeling that the current mini has grown a lot in width and also a little bit in length…is that right or is my feeling wrong? Last but not least…I’m currently driving an A3 with TFSI technology…160 hp and I’m actually quite excited about it…has anyone been able to compare how the engines behave (somebody has a car from the VW Group + a Mini) – is the performance development comparable? At the moment I am interested in a used Clubman Cooper from 2009 with almost 20,000km. Now I wanted to try the car at a dealer because I have a little concern about the chassis that it is too hard for me. I’m not quite satisfied with the sports suspension of my golf. Because I drive almost every weekend over 200km highway and I want to have a quiet suspension. Now I already have 2 dealers (1 branch office and 1 dealership) asked for a test drive, the branch didn’t even register at all and the dealership doesn’t have a car there, only in 3 weeks again. That’s why I wanted to ask here in the round, if someone can make a comparison, how the driving behaviour on the motorway at the clubman is in contrast to the golf, the wheelbase at the clubman is only about 3cm shorter than at the golf. I would be happy about a lively participation.

Hello for now! I want to get a Cooper S now. I have already looked at some and 2 in the narrow selections. Since I don’t know about the Mini Matter so much the question to the community. The 1.: Cooper S, Bj 06.2006, 52000km, Model Checkmate, The 2.: Cooper S, Bj 03.2007, 80000km, also a Checkmate Price would be the first 500€ cheaper. Both 8 times matured on aluminums, accident-free and first hand. I am not sure now if I am the newer with more Is there a difference from the engine? Which would you decide for? Mini improves after. So far the interior design of the in itself likeable minis was an insurmountable hurdle for me. But now light is on the horizon after I have noticed that there are new possibilities about Mini Yours. Leather-related dashboard, new leather lounge satellite grey. Unfortunately not for the countryman who would be my mini from the format and because of four wheel. That the largest mini inside the most low-childish remains a pity. Nevertheless, to think of Mini is now more punctual . So, I buy a mini if: – there is the Countryman as 220 HP version with automatic option or – there is the Clubman with four-wheel option – there is Satellite Grey as interior color – there is Cosmic Blue as exterior color for the Clubman Seriously, what is the mini-community: Will there be Mini Yours also for the Countryman? If there is a stronger CM, what would a JCW be, would there be that again only as a switch? Will there be the JCW tuning kit also for the CM? .. .because this also means an S automatic. Will Satellite Grey also be available as an interior colour for the Clubman in the medium term? Like Polar Beige… How long does it take for the Clubman to change models, so how long does it last? I have a Clubman S, Eclipse Grey, Leather Lounge Satellite Grey with all the beautiful inside frills, English Oak, up to a snap with special equipment for 39k. Still without JCW tuning kit. In the Audi Konfi stands an A1 185 PS DSG S- Line in Daytona Grey with Audi Exclusive individual leather equipment, also fully equipped for 37,5k. Audi will certainly push the S1, then there is the small all-wheeler as I wanted. It will probably blow up the 40k limit. On the outside I like the Mini almost better, inside the Audi. Hello Mini municipality, the subject of winter tires has been kept rather general, but my question refers to the JCW in winter. I am facing the choice: 205/r45 V on 17″ rim (1250€) or 185/r50 H on 17″ rim (1350€) each with Dunlop Pneus (rft). In the 185s it would be the Cross Spoke Felge. In the 205s an Autec (zenit). Hello mini-friends, who once had a heater, will be able to understand it: never again without! But now from year 04/2010 no heater is available in the accessories and my dealer can offer me no solution despite “dangerous” new order. Also a free (Webasto/Eberspächer) provider could not help. Has any of you experiences / a tip in this matter? I also noticed that with the Cabbi the visual package (heatable front window) could not come with Navi kom Is this due to antenna problems or have I just fallen for the configurator? There is no restriction on the price list… By the way: the heating wires don’t disturb me, the heatable windshield would be my last escape compromise, if it doesn’t work with the heater. After a lot of consideration, I decided to buy a Mini JCW when the SLK is sold. The R56 has the clearly nicer shape for me and looks simply culty. The Clubman, even if it existed before, still has something to do with it. However, my girlfriend, even mini-driver, said that the space in the R56 is simply too small. I am often on the road and have luggage with me. The illusion that all this fits into the R56 without The R55 would be the smarter decision, even though I know that the Clubman is not a loading miracle. If one had at least more space in the rear than in the R56… But apart from the look (with which I could be friends), the question arises to me whether the Clubman is just as shaky around the corner as the R56. Or how much fun one loses. I buy a little more loading volume with F Would be a pity if the R56 was much more fun and I was the victim, just so that I didn’t have to fold the seats three times.
