Hi, my MCS from 2009 with SSA has now and then a dropout at the SSA. I roll to the traffic light, dome off, under 7 km the engine goes off, the SS symbol appears in the display, I stop at the traffic light, after a few MINUTE traffic lights again on green, I kick the clutch… nix… in the display what is disabled by SSA. Must then start the engine by hand what it also makes complaintless. Do you know that? Hello together, I own a Mini Cooper R56 with a H&R coilover suspension. I’ve heard a lot about vibrations caused by drive shafts and can eliminate them as well as possible. It only vibrates very weakly when speeding up, I haven’t got it completely away yet! I’m always open for tips. Now I come to my actual request. The car also vibrates during normal gliding, so that there is simply no slipping away! Ch ruckelig, blows in short intervals come through, which could also be interpreted as vibrations and that in a road without potholes or similar. Gas pedal vibrates frequently and the shift knob when gear changes also. He drives all around! My suspicion: engine bearings? If you confirm my suspicion, how can I determine myself if the engine bearing is defective? Should I, if it should then be defective, change against Powerflex? Greetings MrSmith87

I had the JCW kit installed on my CooperS/184PS about 3weeks ago. At the same time, the thermostat for the cooling circuit gave up my mind and had to be renewed. The first two days I had the feeling that the kit was getting right from the bottom out. However, the feeling had faded relatively soon and it feels like everything was back to the old age. In addition, the car is now in the upper speed range felt tougher than before. With 205/45/17 tyres reached (GPS 228/229) Now with JCW Kit and 195/55/16 tyres is really on straight track at 238/239 end. (GPS 225/226). I’m pretty fucked up now because are registered with JCW Kit 235km/h and that would be like 248/249 after Tacho. That’s not to be thought of. How much do your Cooper S run with 184ps/with JCW Kit to Digitaltacho on straight track if possible with tail wind(how much normal without waiting forever) I assume that a product that costs 2000.- and promises more performance also has to bring more performance! How can I successfully claim this at BMW!

Hello Mini municipality, yesterday I was finally allowed to pick up my new “toy” and what is the car nice :-)! Absolute highlight for me is the sound. And the stainless steel exhaust does not look so bad (as in another thread feared by me). But there are also small things that don’t really disturb, but are still capable of improvement: why is the right outside mirror not (more) aspherical (dead angle!)? Why is the audio USB interface not in the glove compartment (as in the case of MB), where the iPod and cable would be stowed away? If someone knows if it can be rebuilt, I would be grateful for a tip. I am open and grateful for honest opinions! I uploaded a few pictures (more might follow). Best regards :-))
