Hello together, I urgently need tips on changing the window lifter engine. I tried yesterday to change my wife’s MINI window lifter engine on the passenger’s side and have desperately stopped after 2 hours. The problem is that the engine is defective and the side window is closed, so at the very top. In my clever book (How do I help myself or the like) the exchange is actually well described, but one assumes there from a condition for which no solution can be found. So I have to remove the side panel first, in order to then move the guide rail and dismantle the motor. So far I have only loosened all the screws from the engine and uncliped the ropes. The motor can be moved easily, but seems to be “upside” still mounted somewhere. I have not yet removed the disc, because on the one hand I could not release the “underlay discs” in the door slot with “simple force” and on the other hand because of the “fixed” Henden Motors” is not able to lower the disc to the size 220 mm in order to be able to remove the washers and everything else. Does anyone have a tip on how to remove the disc? In a BMW guide it is still necessary to separate the motor with “special tool” from the mounting plate. Is this possible with normal tool? It would be really very friendly if someone could give me a couple of tips!!!! Thank you in advance Frank

cooper s but which ones??
hello I have a few questions! what are the differences between the one with 163ps and the one with 170 ps? how is the consumption of the two cars? or rather how much do you consume with these cars? and how big is the consumption difference to the cooper s jcw? I find the compressor sound simply awesome! but I drive about 100 km on the day! or should I rather buy the new one with 175 turbo ps? because it consumes much less??

Mini or Opel
Hello guys, I’m in the old age where I have to think about my first car. I’m so c.a 8000 euros available what I find really a lot for a first car and that’s why I want to use it well. That means I want a car which is not all too vulnerable to possible damage. At the moment I’m really swinging between the Mini Cooper One or the Opel Corsa C! Could you possibly offer me some decision-making help? Would you like to thank me very much. Mfg xnion

Hello, I would be interested to know if there are other “affected” people in the last post (“drive problems with the new Mini” who have similar gear problems with the R56. Thank you, Quilmes

Mini Cooper Bj 2005 switch 1.6i
Hi, I’m going to do a test drive tomorrow, what are the weaknesses? I’ve already read that the circuit is probably hazy, but I’ll see that myself tomorrow. Unfortunately, the car doesn’t have Xenon lamps, which is very high on my list, because we’re on the road a lot late in the evening, so not as a proletarian light, but as a real need. Is the retrofit very time consuming, can someone give tips? Screws I can, it shouldn’t fail. D anke for your tips.

New Cooper S, what do you think?
Hello, in about 1 week I get my Cooper S. I have a few questions about this. 1. Is there anything I should pay special attention to when handing over? A problem, which is perhaps already known? 2. There are many different opinions to drive in. I think that I will drive in the mini about 1000km. Different speeds and not over 4000 revolutions. After that an oil change and then so slowly give right gas. Is that okay? 3. Is there anything wrong with this? 3. what, tips and tricks you should consider as a mini newcomer? Dangers or problems that you can avoid immediately? I am grateful for every tip. Can’t wait for it anymore! Gruss Hubi

Install Playstation???
Hello all together, have bought a radio for my mini with which I can watch dvd and also connect a playstation. I would like to do this now, but I don’t know where to hide the playstation best… optimal would of course be the glove compartment, but don’t think it fits in there. another alternative would be for me under the passenger seat, but don’t know how to fix it there best!? what do you think it would be best if you had a build?
