  • Mazda MX-5 NB 1.9

Hello, I am 19 years old and have only been driving for 1 1/2 years. I got a MX-5 1.9L with 140ps and will drive it from next week. Now the bad driving safety goes through my mind all the time and the car scares me a little bit when I read the bad reports that you need good handling here to drive the car safely, changing the low weight of 1.1T, rear drive and the 140 horses. In addition, you have to have a cover with the g has bad chances of survival :/ Of course I can say that I drive slowly, just as the rest of you talk about it. However, the few at my age will always drive so carefully. It’s true that I give too much gas in the 2nd aisle in a curve, the tail breaks out and anything else happens. Had only an accident on the federal road 2 months ago with good 100 things which I was not responsible for and was lucky to have the troz with the collision with the nothing happened to my old Escort Xr3i. Now it scares me a little bit. Do you have any more tips on how to drive safely or retrofit safety-related things?… hmm… Thanks in advance

  • Mazda MX-5: What do I have to pay attention to when buying?

Hello, I decided to buy a new car. After I was advised not to use a VW fighter, my second choice was the MX-5. The budget is approx. 4,500€. Now I have already looked around a bit and found out that there are some specimens, which are between 3000€-500€ with approx. 60,000 to 160.000KM on the clock. Now my question to you: How many kilometers does a MX-5 run without problems? Of course, I am aware that you can never say that at all, but becauseoc h would be a careful estimate nice. Are 160.000km clearly too much? What about the cover? The car should serve as a everyday car, and thus be moved in wind and weather. Are there problems to be expected? Or do you advise me of an MX-5 as an everyday car?

  • have a problem with my na miata 1,6 115 ps

my miata went out during a bending process and overrun a minihubbel and then jumped only briefly, ca.3 sec. and then goes out again…..after eternal search and try out another control unit, as well as heat sensors (both) and air volume meters, the reliability of all cables was then checked….for good conclusion now remained a special error…. the injection nozzles get after approx.3 sec. no injection impulses from the control unit….unfortunately white ic h not why…..in the cockpit is indicated by flashing the error 10 and that’s actually the air quantity meter, but that’s okay……what can that be……who can help….

  • Help – clutch broken? Clutch pedal very soft, gears do not switch, despite new cylinder sensor

Hello together, I try to describe the problem: during the ride and while switching up I stepped on the clutch and suddenly the clutch pedal feels like buttery soft without resistance, however I noticed that I could not switch gears. So quickly roll out and drive to the side, stopped…. Was towed home… immediately looked what could be: -Hydraulic tank for the clutch was on Max. (so all right) – I know from forum read ” Kupp The old cylinder transducer was very oily, despite being fine for me. Well, start the engine… Kick the clutch pedal… 1 GAng goes in (hurraaa). But hold still on clutch pedal …2-3 sec…Motor chokes… hmmm. – Engine sounds good – Don’t listen to any noises – Put gears on idle again (only when the engine is off, let all gears switch!)… d hold, start MOtor, runs….so 1 gear insert, clutch pedal still hold down…no 2 seconds, the engine chokes again…..out…. So I can’t quite understand this symptom. I suspect that somewhere the sogennate “coupling rear bearing” or something has to do with pressure back plate has to do with it… So far the gears have switched without problems. Gearbox has been completely changed in March. Before I now break up whole car or the Kup I would like to hear your advice, your own opinion, what this can be. Thank you in advance Greeting Kingrodeus

  • Presentation – Change from VW up! to Mazda3

Hello dear forum community, I would like to take the opportunity and introduce myself to the Mazda3 forum: Hot Florian, am 26 years old and come from the beautiful Austria. The last 4 years brought me a VW ecoup! from A to B. He is a loyal companion and for about 3.50 € fuel costs on 100km probably one of the most economical cars on the market at present. Unfortunately, the supply quality/number of tank possibilities in recent years has not improved significantly, the incident in September 2016 (Explosion VW Touran during gas refuelling) even leads for a short time to the complete sales stop (also in Austria). All this compulsion to look for an alternative, the Mazda3 I liked very much at the show in 2013. Since the announcement of the facelift I have dealt more intensively with this car and finally completed a test drive last week. I was enthusiastic and afterwards together with the my wish-to-drive g configured: Mazda3 Sport Revolution G120 White Mica (25D) Navigation With the first offer I then made myself smart online and contacted other dealers. Finally, my dealer in the neighboring town met me so far that I signed the purchase contract today. Now I have to wait until the end of July, until my new vehicle is delivered… I am looking forward to a lively exchange with you!

  • I hate my life…

Just two and a half weeks I have now my new BN and just I had the first accident … almost half self-inflicted I carried out a somewhat exaggerated evasive maneuver in front of a (possibly drunken) cyclist who led me with both wheels of the driver’s side at about 35 km/h at a rather sharp angle over a traffic island with 90°-bar-stone edge, which is located in the middle of a kinking front road. I am certainly already felt 5000 I drove past this place once, without ever having a problem. Today of all times and especially with a car, which has not yet 2000 km on the clock … I could really roar with rage. The result: both rims are over and both tires are flat. Fortunately, there is no visible damage to the thresholdr, underbody and the front or rear apron, because the ground clearance of the car was probably still sufficient. I will definitely have 2 new rims and 2 new tires need, and certainly also the axle geometry must be tested and adjusted if necessary, if possible. Question: does anyone have experience with how solid the chassis of the BM/BN is designed? Do I have to expect that other parts have passed away during the action?

  • Can anyone try/report details on USB stick and Mazda3 2017?

I can plug in a USB stick at my dealer and play around, but some things remain unclear. Does anyone have a Mazda3 2017 and use a USB stick? What size (GB) does the USB stick have? Will the USB stick be re-readed after each start? It is also played by a 128GB stick, but that takes 5-10 minutes until what is played. Of course, this is useless. Can you deactivate the re-reading after each start? Collects the MZD data from the USB stick until all op. with another USB stick there were more options, ie it could be that options come in after some time? Looking forward to every info!

  • MZD Connect (problems connected via WLAN hotspot)

Hello Together, ..bin from the Golf V Forum ‘overrun’ – since the 05.01.2015 I drive a Mazda 3. Have you had experience with the MZD Connect? I have not yet managed to go online with my Mazda 3 via a Wi-Fi hotspot (tethering). I am interested in the online data / services, such as weather data or fuel prices, for the Navi. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2. Although my Mazda recognizes the WLAN or the WLAN hotspot, when connecting I get a Network error. Even with unprotected WLAN (without password) it doesn’t work – that’s the same problem. Do I do something wrong or is the function generally somewhat problematic? A USB-tethering or Bluetooth-tethering does not work either. Is it possible on the mobile phone? However, the pairing via Bluetooth (telephoning via hands-free system, music, SMS etc.) works perfectly. Greetings!

  • Wheel bearing defective? No sound until from 80kmh there.

Hello, I have a question, and I have a surrising sound with my Mazda 323 FBJ which only occurs at 80kmh. I had read once, that you can determine at low speeds whether a wheel bearing is defective. How do I determine exactly if it is really the wheel bearing and if so which side. Because it is not cheap. A bearing for the rear costs with hub almost 50€ at Ebay and approx. 80-100€ at the friendly Mazda dealer. If then I do the ga nze pairwise, but I would be even more interested if it really are wheel bearings. It is only to be heard at higher speeds and only then. Has nothing to do with motor or something. So idle at 100kmh the noise is still there. But maybe it is also due to a clattering or loose cunt part where the wind goes through and causes a surrative noise. With a 12 year old car a lot can happen.

  • ABS & TCS On/Off lights permanently

With my Mazda 323f BJ, the ABS and TCS On/Off lights have been glowing for some time now. Since it doesn’t seem to be a wobble contact, I’ve been researching the Internet. Here I’ve read about the problem a few times, only it was a little different symptoms with the other people. So I created a new topic. I tested the ABS once with a brake test and it worked there definitely. I had the TCS feeling that it didn’t work. But it was just a vllt. because I don’t know whether it’s off or off, because both lights are on. But of course it can’t be possible. Can you help me or give me advice?
