  • MX-5 NB Purchase advice

Good day I have already read a lot about MX-5 NB and have read many forum posts, but I don’t want to do anything wrong. I’ve already looked at a few MX-5 NBs and everyone had too much rust etc. Today, however, I have looked at one and it seems to me very good: MAZDA MX-5 1.8i-16 Youngster: – Year of construction 2004 – 150’000km – MFK until 05.2024 – Brakes v u h (Slices + Blocks) 300km old – Pneu 300km old – 5000CHF – Always all services made – No air conditioning (I find nic ht bad) – Cover not cracked and dense – On the threshold outside no rust and still Mazda stone impact foil on it – Longitudinal beams still look good – Small scratches back left – clutch and all gears are still good What do you think I should buy it?

  • Long service life MX-3 V6 Built 94

Hey, my MX-3 V6 Bj. 94 is now about 10 years in a garage. Now I finally have some time and want to bring it back to life. How do I really go there? Let off the old fuel and new ones in. Hope, the petrol tank has no rust. Since the tank is unfortunately only half full. The long service life was not planned… I heard that the tank should have a drain screw below? That would be practical… There I could also with an endoscope camera pure regarding rust. Should there w If you can see it, it has to be cleaned / cleaned or does a little bit what nothing ? Does that land in the petrol filter ? Oil and oil filters come of course new. New battery is clear. Just like new tires. Do I have to do anything else ? Can I then take a start attempt ? Colleagues said that I should turn the spark plugs out so that the resistance is lower and the motor tries to rotate by hand. To see if it can be rotated or fixed. Then start with oildru Then the candles are back in and then try to start the engine. If I start the engine with expanded candles, do not shoot the sparks out of the candle plugs or not? LG

  • Mazda mx5 NB driving as a big man?

Hello, I’m just a little depressed again because I’ve seen some videos about the Mazda mx5 Nb. I’m still young and beginners, as well as huge fan of Japanese cars and everyone says the Mazda miata would be one of the funniest cars to learn to drive a car. Besides, he’s also one of the only ones you can afford in Germany and with a rather small budget are nice to modify. And what should I say, I’m 2 meters tall and must face reality. I can’t buy one because I won’t fit in, can I? You can make a few mods, shell seats, smaller steering wheel etc. but because there’s no space behind the seats you can’t move the seat further to the rear afterwards. Is there any way you can make more space in the car, or do I have to say goodbye to the idea of getting the car completely? I will certainly not be able to drive any amendments at all. Lg

  • MX5 NA purchase advice

Hello! After looking for a suspension for my old Twingo; I found that there is an entire car for the price of a decent suspension. Including decent suspension. I then got to the MX5 NA via a few detours and have already fallen in love with this one I picked out:https://suchen.mobile.de/…/2642374757.html?… I telephoned with the owner: -Wagen was rebuilt 4 years ago -new brake lines -new W indschutzscheibe -new front bumper -sidely painted, according to the owner this timing belt was let in 4 years ago, because visual sample top -brakes 2 years old -rust was welded away What do you think? Is the price fair? Supplements? Is it a candiat for an H license plate that you should hold and maintain or because of the crash more a snapper with which you still have 4 years of fun? Is there someone from the corner, for a box, to be present at the visit or places to pay special attention to? Greetings

  • Mazda 6 – Bose + Woofer?

Good evening! I am recently proud owner of a Mazda 6 sportscombis, built in 2006 with the Active Plus equipment. Now I have the Bose sound system, which is highly praised by the dealer, which works perfectly. Let’s now come to my need: I lack “Wumms”. That means I think about a retrofit of a subwoofer in the trunk. My budget for this is unfortunately only about 250 euros, because I also bought OZ rims for the summer. What would be in this P I listen to music in principle almost everything… Depending on the mood. Hope you can give me a hint, which components I need and how I can realize the end. Mfg

  • Mazda6 Diesel – Large inspection

Hello everybody. On my 6-series (BJ 2003, CD 2,0L 136PS) the big inspection is about to take place (120.000km). Does anyone know exactly what needs to be done? Timing belt change is clear. What about the water pump and the timing belt tensioner? Are there other parts that will be checked or replaced? Oh yes, what does the inspection cost for the friendly one? Thank you in advance. • Mazda 6 2.0 MZR-CD, engine defective, year 5/2008

Hello, After the Mazda 6 did not have any problems so far, I get back to you. Why ? Exactly one day before my holiday last week the engine said goodbye with a loud clapping. Mazda said that I should come to the workshop, they would look at it. On the way there exactly 20 meters before the car dealership nothing went out. Engine and does not want to start anymore. What happened ? After the workshop looked closer the car (there was too much oil in the oil tank , large metal chips were also included, and the engine made tilt motions of perhaps 6-7 cm) the engine was removed and disassembled this week. Originally they hoped for a skipping of the steering belt. Conclusion: bearing damage on the 4th cylinder. Cause unknown. Presumably the injection valve did not work correctly and pushed diesel into the oil. Except minimally increased diesel consumption (did not affect at these low temperatures) and finally a funny clacking Now the Mazda 6 gets a new engine on guarantee (previous mileage: almost 37,000 km). On holiday it went with a Mazda 5, which was provided by the car dealership free of charge and which I now keep until the end of the repair. The workshop affirmed that it had not yet seen such a thing … Greeting Alfred

  • Mazda 626 GF/GW Diesel toll after cold start

Hello, I have a Mazda 626 GW/GW 2.0 turbodiesel (74 kW/101hp), mileage now 235tkm. The last 2 winters and this year the engine pushed very hard after cold nights in the morning and hardly assumed any gas, after 1-2 km drive everything was ok again. If I understood it straight, this is probably due to a defective quantity control valve in the ESP. In the course of October and early November we had however already some nights with frost (must scratch disks), after d If it’s the winter diesel: Is there also a winter diesel with Ultimate Diesel, V-Power Diesel & Co or is there a winter diesel with the same “substance” all year round?

  • Ignition oscillators during acceleration 626 GE

Hello everyone. My father is the first owner to drive a Mazda 626 GE FH, 1,9l 90PS petrol, year 95 with 250 tkm. He has recently run the problem that when the engine was speeding up the engine, it was irregularly jerking, igniting or swallowing. On the troubleshooting I noticed that the distributor finger and the contacts on the distributor cover were quite worn out, so we made it new. We also renewed the spark plugs, because they were blacked out… of course h we have installed NGK spark plugs again, because the engines have problems with the others of e.g. Bosch. However, with both no success. I have a colleague who works at Mazda, so I am to the workshop and this one has isolated the contact insulation of the spark plugs of the ignition cables, because, as he said, because the spark does not jump to the spark plug, but to the engine block… however, this was also not the fault. I don’t know any more… Do you have any experience with this problem??? Does anyone know a solution??? I thank you in advance…
