  • TÜV Galant E50 – Which defects may remain and which should go.

Hi guys. It’s about a Mitsubishi Galant E50 kmh 163,000 I recently had a big inspection done and I was told that my TÜV will be due soon. Fortunately, the workshop has already created a list of defects for me. Now I am faced with the question which defects have to be corrected for the existence of the TÜV and which ones do not. The defects I want to do definitely, I let away steering gearbox L moist Mototr light oil loss (possibly oil pressure sc Underbody should be conserved Exhaust system heavily rusted Rear light cap L damaged (I would like to leave it as the damage does not justify the costs) Presumably I want to drive the car for a maximum of 2 years. So the question is, what should be done about it, as it is needed for the TÜV or otherwise entails follow-up costs. What could cost such a thing in general? I know, these are very general questions. Maybe someone knows each other especially with I am in joyful expectation and thank you in advance for all the answers. MfG Goldi

  • The new Mitsubishi Colt

The new Mitsubishi Colt has turned around 180 degrees in terms of design; in the past it was more of a sporty small car and today more of a shrinked station wagon or minivan. But what about the quality and reliability of the new Colt? Already any problems or other flaws occurred?

  • Carbon blasters

Again a new one with an old question. 🙂 I have a 98 ́ Carisma GDI/ automatic with now 75 TKM. I have the same problem as probably many here: irregular idle. I have read here the carbon blaster should help and the exhaust gas recirculation shut down. now my questions: 1. How long does it last? 2. Where do I have to/can I have this done ( Mitsubishi or free workshop) ? Am here in Munich. 3. The price read here often about 210 € , right? Or 4. Or can I do something myself? Would I be glad if someone could help me. Until then, Micah

  • New Colt or Cuore recommended?

Hello together, with me in the next time a new purchase, if possible as an annual car, is on. Above all important to me are as low purchase and maintenance costs as possible as possible as well as maximum reliability and (of course ) the scrapping premium. Now I am quite aware that the Mitsubishi Colt in the purchase and maintenance is underbidden, for example by Daihatsu Cuore or possibly even Sirion. Due to the magnificent numbers of the Cuore (4.4l combined, realstis I’m very excited about this, unfortunately I didn’t find any meaningful data in the ADAC breakdown statistics or in the TÜV report, but I was able to read a great deal about the Colt. So finally my question(s): Is the ADAC breakdown statistics (still) a good decision help? Can anyone here perhaps notice something particularly positive or negative about the Colt or Cuore? Look forward to quick and numerous answers! P.S.: This is m a first thread here, since I can’t decide whether this thread is better off in the Mitsubishi or Daihatsu forum, I will post this post again in the other forum. If no one wants to step on their feet and therefore am not angry, my thread(s) should be deleted and/or moved!

  • How much discount on list price? How long delivery time? Experiences? (Lancer)

hello! I would be interested to know how much the dealers on average drop on the list price? or if there is something more in the winter? and someone happens to know how long you can spend with the delivery time over the winter months? thank you! lg ps: Would I also be happy about reports, how the new lancer is doing in everyday life?

  • flight rust ? at the Mitsubishi Outlander

Have an outlander bj.11.2007 with 140ps vw-motor and had to find out now unfortunately that he, below the side windows to the floor, is covered with rust points. sorgar under the plastic of the rear number plate (mount removed) which can be found, in total it probably 2000 points, I am sure that in the autumn were not there yet, the workshop told me today that this would not be a guarantee case, because it should come to it by any environmental influences, who has already a n similar problem had or tips for me, oh yes the complete car polishing costs 1000 euro.

  • Space Star; squeaky steering

Hello together, I added a Space Star 1.8, 74000km, year 2002. Prima vehicle – what was noticeable is the slightly squeaky steering. I read here that a special fat can remedy. Is there any current findings ? What does a Mitsubishi dealer require for this action? The previous owner has had to fill in oil at ATU 10W40. Is the standard oil for the 1.8 ok or recommends Mitsubishi full-syntethics? Look forward to your information.

  • Rims (tooth, wedge, ribs) at the Santamo

Hello! My Santamo makes strange noises after the exchange of a flat-grid (lighter). After a holding clamp had burst for Kalbel and destroyed the Riehmen, nothing better came to my wife than to drive to ATU. They have one built in which I think is too short besides they have not even stretched the wedge-grid for the servo pump and also overlook that the is completely porous. No matter! Problem is this noise as if the fan is running. Was only in progress, but with silicone spray it has only shifted to higher speeds. My question would be how big the belts have to be? Are not listed with any parts dealer. Sometimes as an example 600XPZ for the servo pump? Furthermore, I would like int. what is attached to the straps?! The rear (flat) goes to the climate compressor from the crankshaft. The front (flat) goes to the alternator and ???! The from the servo pump (coil) goes also over ?????? Is the water pump or a turning roller? Can I use the water pump or a turning roller? someone say the sizes for the three straps? I would have a question to rub my teeth. After I saw the eclypse with an open tooth grate inside the workshop I thought “Can’t be so hard”. After I saw this whole chamois and still the motor holders in the way, I’m not so sure anymore. What does it have to do to change the tooth grate? Is it also sitting on the big one for the balancing shaft? Oh yes! Is Son Korean 4G63 Nachba C.E.

  • Oil in spark plugs

Hello! I’m new here. I’ve read the articles here many times. I recently bought a Mitsubishi Carisma 1.8 GDI and now have the following problems. When I wanted to change the spark plugs I noticed that around the candles was oil. But only in the 2 middle spark plugs. The outside (left, right) are both dry. I type that some gasket has to be changed. But I don’t know which. And the 2nd problem: The speed always fluctuated with me he only in the empty run. What can this be about?? Dirty throttle flap?? already in front of many thanks!!!
