Hello everyone, can one of you out there tell me if it is somehow possible to install a 300er sport steering wheel in the Eclipse d30 and where you get a hub for it? With this flicker it is really a problem to find something suitable. How do you find the Borbet FS on my Eclipse by the way? honest opinion, pictures are on my page. Thank you for your help regarding the steering wheel. It greets you Andreas

Power steering down?
Hello! I drove my car (Mitsubishi Galant GLI 2,5l Bj. 98) today, made funny noises until so slowly the steering made difficult until hardly anything left. Did the car still drive to the parking lot where it is still standing. It looks as if there is such a small wedge ring or similar slipping away. Can someone give me an information? Can I still drive short distances with the car? Would be nice if someone had some advice, I am dependent on this car and need it theoretically again tomorrow. Greetings Siega

Pajero 3200 DI-D ‘does not pull’ anymore
Dear people, I am new to this forum as well as quite inexperienced about cars in general and my 2004 Pajero DI-D automatic, which I bought at 125,000 km before a good year. With the problem I have, I would actually go directly to the workshop in Germany and let experts go to the troubleshooting – only I live and work in Egypt and took my Pajero with me – and here is the expertise regarding the diesel version of the car very much At the same time, maintenance here is problematic, especially with regard to spare parts. Therefore, I hope for some tips, on the one hand, to narrow down the problem and with an idea, what could not be in order, to go to a workshop, and on the other hand to learn what I should change and renew regularly, so as not to ruin the car too quickly. The problem, which has occurred for some time, is this: the car seems to be driving normally, automatic switches e is used to and performance is the usual. But when I hit the 100 km/h, the power breaks, the car ‘does not pull’ anymore, I only come with full throttle at 120 km/h and the engine ‘jumps’ and does not run round. The problems occur from 2500 revolutions on, the automatic then also does not work more correctly and switches from the 4th not into the 5… Do you have an idea what causes these symptoms? Can such a thing come from the diesel filter? Probably the fuel in Egypt is not especially clean… But why does the management break in so late? Questions about questions – about hints and tips I would be very happy. Many greetings from Cairo Jan

after timing belt change problems
Space Runner 2.0 ltr., 100 kW, year of construction 00. I had the timing belts changed in a free workshop, the engine then ran quite normal. After approx. 5 km the problems, no more power, ringing strangely, idle speed only approx. 600 – 700. I then switched off the engine and restarted – again everything top. After approx. 10 km the same problem again. Does anyone know what this can be????

Carisma
Hello, I bought a Mistubishi Carisma, 100,000km, TÜV/AU new, 1 year warranty (no warranty, but right guarantee!) from the dealer, 2750,- Euro. It is the LX model, 3/99 EZ, where the heating control is still offset, so the 3 controllers are not in a row. I hope you know what I mean. 1.8 GDI 125 hp. With climate. Does it work. Have just a few questions: – When is or was the timing belt due? There is no check booklet, should I also change the V-belts. – Does the cracking of the hydros stop at some point? During the test drive, this became quieter after 2 minutes, but didn’t stop completely. I have a guarantee, but the dealer said that this would be normal for Japanese cars if they had stood for a long time. With my Audi Coupé, the cracking was the hint of the broken camshaft. I tried to post something at dreamcarisma.de, but that wasn’t possible. So I ask here. Otherwise, I would still like to know how to retrofit fog lights. ann, because the box has unfortunately none. Does someone help me? Thank you! Ralf

Inspections – for what?
Hello together, have a vehicle which is about 2.5 years old and about 90,000km. According to the checkbook an inspection was due now (I do every 15,000km). So I commissioned the car workshop and inspection was carried out, summer tires were selected and installed. I picked up the car and found that when driving on the highway during braking operations, when the speed was between 100-140 km/h, the steering wheel was strongly vibrating. After 7 days I went back to the workshop to check the cooling system again and asked what could be the cause of the vibrations on the steering wheel? I was told that the car had to be examined for the cooling system and I would pick it up again after one day, and that the vibrations on the steering wheel would naturally be examined. When I picked up my vehicle today, I was sent to the workshop. the two brake discs were so thin at the front that I had overheated them during a braking process and since I was certainly driving over a water puddle at the same time, the water cooled down the thin brake discs too quickly and they deformed! In addition to the discs, of course, the brake covers had also been changed. Now my question: when I had the inspection done, and in the protocol with “front brake blocks/discs on wear / freegage “tested” – why didn’t you see the super-thin (i.e. already worn) and deformed brake discs? Another thing: I was called during the inspection about 45,000km, and they told me that the brake discs already have grooves, because the brake pads are completely worn out, and everything has to be re-examined – so I ask myself here, what is an inspection? What did I do this for the 30,000km? Why didn’t they tell me that in the 30,000 d he brake pads are worn out? Or do I hide myself and the brake pads were still OK up to 44,000km and I just had bad luck? What do I do the inspections for if they never tell me that the receipts are off and I have to renew them, because otherwise the discs are gone? Greetings, Jack

Engine controller Outlander
Hi !!! I have the problem that my idle speed fluctuates and runs very restless, which means that it sometimes only attracts after a fraction of seconds when starting. Likewise, the engine control lights up. I was already 3 times at the Mitsuh. It can find nothing. One deletes the engine control light which however after some time is concerned again. Except expenses so far nothing has been able to help me a little more? I will now also look for a new workshop. Greetings Marco

Stress with the Lima-strange loading behaviour of l300, 2.4i
Hello together, I installed a new Lima about 2 months ago, ran without problems until about 2 weeks ago. But suddenly no more juice on the battery. Voltage with multimeter of battery measured with the following result: Engine off: approx.12.5V engine started: approx.14.3V consumer on (light, rear heating, ventilation) approx.14.1V engine after a few minutes in idle and consumer on: 11.9V consumer then off: approx.14.3V ??????? Who can help me there? Battery pulls itself after a few dogs km imm It’s empty again, so I don’t dare to go on with light and heating. If it’s Lima, why is everything normal at the start? Thanks in advance
