  • L200 and rapeseed oil????!!!?????

Hi I have a mitsubishi l200 and I’ve been driving for a long time with a 50:50 blends of 50%raps oil and 50%diesel (WITHOUT ROAD!!!) the car has run impeccable until recently, someone has experiences with raps oil and L200 it’s so suddenly it started to knock in the engine I thought that the pleuel bearings are beaten out or something, a fearful smell!!! in any case we drove to the mitsubishi dealer and told him this and he did test drive and, it is true wake d of course he can’t say anything about it if he doesn’t hear anything!!! well since then we’re driving with him again and somehow I won’t get rid of the feeling that the engine is still too loud compared to before it’s not a bad knock anymore but somehow if the exhaust would blow out (ONLY DOWN!!!) we also have to install a catt because of the controls!!!!! but with the kat it can’t have anything to do with the L200 is BJ 1998 2.5L 99PS approx. 180000 KM has someone experience me raps oil in L200 or such chaste ??? I am grateful for everyone!!! mfg.Paul

  • Goodbye, Mitsubishi.

So, after 13 years of Mitsubishi with 6 new cars, I have no choice but to separate myself from this brand. There is simply no Mitsubishi vehicle for me right now. I would have liked to take a car like the SpaceStar again, but the model policy should be well known. Mitsubishi will always remain a niche manufacturer, but one can not hold any customers in the long run. Which devil, however, has ridden me and to the next manufacturer these r way to change, I still puzzle about it myself. But at Nissan there is the car that I was looking for. All Mitsubihi “fans” continue to have a lot of fun, good and safe driving… Bye, the eifelgeist changes to the Nissan forum.

  • H4 Xenon retrofit kits (Eclipse D30)

Good @all. I decided to upgrade for the Winter Xenon. Since there are no xenon headlights for the Eclipse D30, I decided for the H4 Xenon variant. (At www.ebay.de Article number: 7994005896 Now I wanted to ask you if someone might have read a test report of such kits. Are these just as good and as bright as the “real” Xenon headlights. I also asked for it from the manufacturer. e is not necessarily necessary. I am very grateful for a “experience report”. I say thank you very much.

  • Timing belt change Carisma GDI

Hello all, I am Opel driver myself, but my ‘Father-in-law’ drives a Carisma GDI year 97. Now the 180 000km timing belt change is on this, and because I’m not completely untalented in terms of screwdriver technology, we want to change it ourselves, I’ve already changed timing belts with different cars, Vectra 2.0 8V, Polo GTI, last week at my Astra G OPC, was not a big deal. Now I started Google and read something about a hydraulic tensioner (ab with all the belts that I have changed so far it was so that a tension roller with pointer was there where you could adjust the voltage relatively simply. Unfortunately, there are no workshop books for the Mitsubishis. Does someone know what part of this hydraulic tensioner is etc. How about the high pressure pump, because the GDI is a direct injection, probably the high pressure pump is driven by the timing belt. The engine is the 1.8l GDI with 92kw (125hp) I’m grateful about tips and tricks We looked into the engine compartment before, space is in itself enough, only a servo line hangs bitsle doof in the way. Greetings, Martin

  • Vulnerabilities in Evo IX.?

Hello, … I’m currently looking for a Lancer Evo 9… Would you like to ask what you should look for with this model, because of rust etc?! Have experienced with Mitsubishi “null” so far, only Mercedes and Opel drove! How long does the engine last so long with the Evo so..? Since it seems to be quite charged! And what about consumption and entertainment, many repetitions necessary..? Already a thick THX for all answers… MfG. Jan

  • Purchase advice Space Star,

Hi . I want to get a van next time, all one because of three children. Now drive still at the moment a Mondeo 1.8 BJ 94. and only problems, after long optical search I like the Space Star best. It should then be at least a 1.8L zb. (122PS ), manual gearbox, gasoline. Are the motors and transmissions well robust???? And which motors are to recommend and which from Bj. Had with mondeo or, VW Passat, opel always motor and transmission problems, heavy switching ,Laute switchg Now the faxes thickness and need a regular car, where I think that with a Japanese Space Star right lying down. Meanwhile they build good cars , For the price write me Please couple of experiences , and hidden flaws, where so the diseases lie. And where and how I have to pay best attention to it. Does not want to buy me the cat in a bag. Thanks in advance and greetings.

  • L300 Drowning and Vibrating

Hello guys, since Tuesday I have a problem that is expressed in my L300 Bauj. 1996 2.5D 4D56 GLX from approx. 3000 rpm is roaring and buzzes this from approx. 100km/h no more entertainment is possible. All wear parts have been completely changed within the last three months. (brake discs, brake blocks, clutch, cooler, thermostat, belt, timing belts, exhaust, shock absorber front and rear, tires, etc.) I do not know if I am right with my guess, but I have If someone had a similar phenomenon with him and knew a solution, I would be very grateful if he would tell me! • I’m getting a divorce…

Hello, I now have to say goodbye to this forum as an active Mitsu driver, because my car has been broken (theat if needed) Summary: My transmission oil is black and everything is covered with a soot film. That means, without other transmissions, no success. Now I have always made the same statement after a long search: Since an automatic transmission is not possible to organize. It only helps an original submersible transmission for 4000 €. In addition, the next 5 00 Km to do the following: Brakes (at least coverings) and all belts. That was now the final death blow. Since the car is now 10 years old and the gearbox alone already exceeds the value of the intact car, I will unsubscribe the car tomorrow 🙁 If necessary, each part of the car can be bought. It is all at your disposal. I would like to thank you now for the many tips that came from you despite some complicated situation and led to success. Thanks. I’m going to keep this up. I’m going to go on for the first time, so that I’m going to look for a small car that’s relatively cheap, because the fuel prices are not good right now. I wish everyone a good ride and a lot of joy with your weighing.

  • Colt CZ3 Purchase advice

Hello, I might want to buy a new Colt cz3 soon and have a few questions about the car. So first of all, the 1.1L engine is enough if you also have to drive longer motorway stages and how big are the consumption differences between the 1.1 and 1.3? Second: If you fold the back bench up to the front – how much space is left for the driver (I am 1.90m myself and would also like to be able to drive if I have to take more with you). In the end a new model should come, should one wait with the purchase still for possible discounts for the old model? The dealer said he was only allowed to order if he has a fixed customer order – wants Mitsubishi thereby that the prices for the Colt could then fall too strong? How much should the variant with 1.1L engine in the Inform equipment cost – at the moment there is the 800€ discount action…? And finally would still me still the general driving impressions for the 1, 1Liter engine interested , because this variant can unfortunately hardly drive anywhere sample . Thanks for your help Dear Greetings Protondriver
