Hello together We have been stolen an electronic key from our W463 (2003), and our concern is that if we necessarily put the vehicle back at the same place where we were stolen, that the G can then be driven away in the same way. This would certainly reduce further insurance benefits. If the still existing electronic key can be reconfigured in such a way that the other one no longer works and we easily imitate a second one. Hello and good evening, for 2.5 years I drive a G 400 , am super satisfied with it, have travelled since the approx. 40Tsd. km without problems. The G has now run 230Tsd km. After the last inspection I was made aware of the steering chain. In the cold condition there is a rattled/clamping noise, which I have so far assigned to the hydropumps, this is after 2-3 sec. again away. Otherwise problem-free run, also in idle. The G has been with Mercedes around their One-sided opinion, after cold start comes the sounds of the chain. Has someone experience with the exchange outside Mercedes at “free” or motor specialists to achieve a cheaper repair, the complete exchange (chain, rails, tensioner) at MB should cost over 5Tsd. I am grateful for any opinion and experience. Grüße G-Stein

Moin dear “G”-meinde, at the end of March a G63 rolls on my farm and I have two questions about the everyday suitability of the G63 (especially in the edition 463 with 21 customs duties). 1.) Can you drive the car into the car wash without having to do a great rework? I ask especially about the spare wheel at the rear door – does this get a normal system regulated? 2.) How can the car move in car parks or underground garages in a general way? I am currently driving my wife’s GLE 63S Coupe and d recently had the pleasure of getting to know various parking garages… depending on the parking garage I sweated blood and water in the box and without a 360° camera AND my passenger I would certainly have taken care of one or the other scratches on rims and varnish. With the car I will never drive to a parking garage again if possible. Is the G63 more comfortable (it is not quite as wide as the GLE).? Thank you for your time and kind greetings InTally

Hello, after the TÜV examiner has prepared a valuation report for my W 460 short convertible, I would like to improve from condition 3 to 2 or even 1. After the body builder has removed or renewed the first sheet metal, the project becomes more and more extensive. The frame is ok but otherwise there is still a lot to do. Although the doors seem optically still in order, they are renewed after all. So if someone wants to restore 2 doors, please PN to me. My G500 from 2021 is incontinent over the GSD . Was a few weeks ago from the DB branch closed by correct laying of the drain hose at the back right side ( probably had been moved from factory simply with a kink ). Unfortunately this morning (after first heavy rain and no visit of the washing machine since collection at the workshop) I discovered again moisture in the sky. The gentlemen at DB keep themselves a bit covered , but it must probably be with the series an internally known Pro blem sein . My question – does someone have the same model with the same problem ? It’s my fourth G , I’ve already made all (though I thought at least ) possible and impossible surprises with a G ??? happy me if someone has the same problem with the same series and possibly has a tip …. Hello, I don’t have my G yet, therefore question in the round, someone drives 22‘‘ on the G450d and if so, what combination and size? Please also information if it has to be entered then, whether distance disks have been installed etc. Thank you

Have electric G class – G580 EQ – but it does not seem possible to set up a digital key for cell phone wallet here. Does anyone know when this will be possible or to what extent there is trick I don’t know. VLD in advance!

Hello, has any of you experienced how to remove the fan hood ? Maybe also a guide for this ? Must change the charge air hose at my 350BT OM642 211 hp since it is leaking (driver side). Thank you to all, juve81
