    Good morning together, Has someone in the forum ever exchanged seats in the G? Specifically, I would like to exchange 22 seats with my G63 bj without ventilation etc for seats from a G63 bj 23 with appropriate function. MB is very reserved with a corresponding offer.

  • Cooling water thermostat G270CDI

    The cooling water thermostat is defective with my G270CDI. According to Mercedes, this one has the number A 612 200 01 15 and is no longer available.On the internet, I only find the number A 612 200 00 15. Does anyone know if this number fits or where I could get the right thermostat?

    I’m doing an extra corrosion protection thread here, in which everyone can contribute their experiences. It’s certainly interesting for readers and for decision-making. I decided to have this done (G new, no winter), I already have a few points about it. It’s definitely better than before to wait at first glance. But what about the window frames, door handles, door edges, groin fixtures, rear door below, brake lines, stepping boards, lamp screws, shock absorbers suspensions, screw connections, tail plates and the felt 50 other things… so my sanderer is now clearly better or perfect.     Hello together I wanted to drive the good community, whether you know a good MB workshop with one or other G-specialists in their ranks in Switzerland.   • G400 CDI- suddenly went out and stopped starting.

    Hello together, now I also have a problem with the G. The following has happened: I drove quite normal and all of a sudden the car went from now on without warning – no stutter, nothing. The tank had gone before about 10km on reserve, but the G has 20ltr reserve- so it can not lie there, and also had no problems with it so far – that is enough mathematically for about 150km. Then I thought that the tanker does not properly indicate, 20ltr diesel reinges chüttet, but nothing happens- nurser turns, but the motor doesn’t start.     Hello, my name is Rüdiger, I’m new here and I’ve had a w463 (G500) from 2010 with Japanese past for 2 weeks. Only the rims I would like to replace. Currently I drive 7.5 x 18H2 ET63 Yesterday I wanted to make a rim replacement on 20 inch AMG rims. We found that the hole circles do not match (according to dealers because of import vehicle). Lock travel are 5×130 compared to 5×112. (other wheel scar) Can you confirm this so and which possibilities have ic h for retrofitting? LG Rüdiger

    Hello together, yesterday with my insurance spoken what would cost a G400d at 10tkm of driving performance per year. At VK 1000€ SB and TK without, it would be 170€/year. Did I find a lot for the car. Is that so normal? Or do I have to look for a better insurance? Thank you.

  • G270 CDI …. Problems in stationary gas

    Hello all, my G270 CDI, 42000 km Bj 2004 has been having problems with the stand gas since the latest. To the info… a year ago a new Uylinder head was mounted and recently a new gearbox with converter. When I drive towards a crossing and brake to a standstill it suddenly ran out of me twice. The stand gas is often no longer like a clockwork, but is always a little sagging. It is not always, however, increasing. Has someone ever had comparable problems? It starts great and when driving you don’t notice anything. Only in the stand. I would be very happy if someone could help me. Best regards Hans
