Who can help ? On motorway rides over cross-roads at bridges and with track grooves the front axle swings terribly. I then have to slow down up to approx. 80 km/h which returns rest again. I drive 205R16 on original wheels also there are no other changes. The mileage is at 360000 km.

Kinetic ropes
If someone is familiar with kinetic ropes, or can make a recommendation. I have wrestled through various suppliers, who have all “the best product” … yes! So, vehicles are G’s with max. 3.5t own weight. We are mostly on the road with two vehicles, and have used “normal” towing ropes up to now. At a meeting I have now seen these kinetic ropes, which can be of advantage after all. So now my questions, whether someone can use them What kind of tonnage do the ropes have to endure? Here it is sometimes multiplied by 3 or also by 4. But what makes a difference (even in the price) whether you take a rope with 9t, 11t, 12t, or 15t. Then it is advised not to take too high tonnage, because you can tear something down with it. Thanks for every constructive thought.

W463 / 2014 door seals flapper/vibration
Well, there I am again 😉 With my 2014er the defects are increasing. The warranty time is soon running off *laugh* A few weeks ago I suddenly noticed a loud flapping/floating while driving slowly (yes, this is also possible with an AMG). I first thought about things that are lying in the cart and therefore typical of indoor noises. I have to mention that I myself hear fleas flatulating. I have the absolute (car) hearing. I have found out that it is the Door seals/rubbers are the ones that must have changed in their consistency. Press the doors at the top of the frame from outside. I don’t hear anything about other G’s. The G 63 chassis does the rest and transmits hard vibrations to the clattering doors that drive me crazy (it’s really good to hear, even my wife…). First, the rubbers were treated with special Daimler oils. It’s been for 2 days. Now the rubbers have been parted. The box has almost 30′ km and is from early 2014. Unfortunately the Asu exchange does not seem to bring much. Because already today I hear on the passenger side again the clapping. On the driver side (also with the new) rubber, I hear nothing. Also the door consists of “outside-top-drück-test”. Passenger door squeaks. What’s wrong? I may know such sounds from a Lada. But not from G’s.

G55 vs G63 old
Hello G- fellow fighter, am superior my G55 for a G63 old to exchange. I am actually very happy with my 55s. Sound is the hammer, kicking bombastic. Who has experiences or acceleration, chassis harder or softer, transmission, consumption etc. Interior equipment is clear anyway. Weis already, the eternal debate with the consumption, measured with my average 19.8 l and that at 40,000 country road kilometers. With mobile because of price determination look. New G500 or G63 cars
Hello dear community, I am really a little “planless” and hope that you can give me some ideas with the way. At the moment I stand before the (probably rather belly) decision whether G500 or G63. Did also researched something in advance on the Internet but am still quite uncertain with the following “impressions”: 1. Is it correct that only the G500 is equipped with AMG package with All Season tires? 2. If the G500 is equipped with AMG package “optically” the sidepipes are missing, or ? F For the almost 50t difference, you can of course still pack in really nice equipment… Correspondingly: G63: + it’s just a G63 – significantly more expensive (with less equipment) and of course with the following costs G500: + “economic” in comparison + More equipment in the budget – it’s not G63 😛 Maybe someone was in front of the same decision. I know – totally subjective question therefore I am looking for “intenses”. And yes… who wants a camel also needs a big door – it’s not at the door, I just doubt if the price difference is really fair… thanks for your input, smo

Engine upgrade from 350 TD to 300 TD
Hello, Unfortunately, recently an engine damage has brought my G 350 TD Bj 95 to lie, but at least only at 360k km. Unfortunately, this is not so easy to find a replacement engine, because the market is apparently empty. Now I wonder if it would be possible to take the engine out of the G 300 TD (the one with 177 hp) with not too much effort and install it instead of a 350. Would such a conversion make sense? Does anyone have such a motor conversion already planned and who n yes, how big is the effort and what costs you have to reckon with. Thank you for the help, Yannik.

Inert and delayed response of the accelerator pedal
Hi together, I have a G500 (2009), which for some time only reacted delayed to the accelerator pedal and felt no rich train on the way. It also switches delayed at speeds of up to 2500 rpm. In the past the response behavior was very direct and the acceleration quite linear. What could this be about? For about a similar time a speed-dependent Surren (between 1000 and 2000 rpm) can be heard from the engine compartment. Grades was therefore replaced the servo pump, the Surren is But still there. The guys from Mercedes are baffled. Does any of you have any idea what that might be about? Thank you very much.

Puch (Mercedes) G 300GE
Hello! My puch (Mercedes) 300 GE jerks every now and then while driving. After longer observation I can say that it is only when climbing up and you feel it in the low touring area. I think it should be something with the fuel supply, from the feeling it is similar like when you forget to turn on the petrol tap on old motorcycles, or the tank gets empty. Momentary facts # 300 GE, 6 cylinder petrol # when climbing up # petrol filter changed – no Ä change # spark plugs changed – nice candle picture – no change # associated with it also a quiet buzzing that goes with the jerking and is audible when driving slowly # is not always the case, often several days without problems, then again isolated # a connection with the tank filling level could not be recognized so far What would you close now?

I thought, I ask you for your current book recommendations, especially on the topic of self-help/screws at the G. The internet pages of Dr. Hans Hehl are legend. G 500 EZ 2004 Heat problem? Error ESC and engine control – workshop fails completely!!!!
Hello G-Meinde, last Monday I drive home in the monkey heat and turn off the G as usual, everything normal. 1 hour later I wanted to drive away, does not go. my G in emergency run mode, no more gas and runs quite quietly in the stand gas. display ESC and engine control. So I brought the G to the next MB branch, did not pressure and left people enough time, a week. I gave another tip about the heat!! But the nice people go according to scheme F, yes not 1st step: Do not take gas So change gas control unit (poti). Test, shit didn’t work. 2nd step: Engine runs smoothly but we install an expensive new throttle valve. Test. oh runs again. 3rd step: I can pick up the car and pay €2000. Test. Oh shit. Same error as before. ESC error and engine control. G in emergency run no longer takes gas. The master is almost overturned with embarrassment. I gave in again a tip. The engine room cooks almost. 38° in the shade, in the engine room much more. My tip ESC control unit does not cover heat. Master ponders, yes we have to look up!!! 4. Step: I go back home and leave the G as a test rabbit, but I have written a complaint to MB branch office and threatens if they can’t tell me tomorrow what the trigger of the error is, I will have the car picked up and take it to a specialist company. Oh yes still w As. when I turned on the G he had unfortunately no round run any more like voher but vomited. Conclusion: They have scrapped a healthy 500 he engine.
