Dear friends, it happens regularly at the start. When I start the car and start with a cold engine, the car stays at 20km/h while the speed at the pressure of the gas pedal rises from about 1500 to 2100 rpm at the same speed. After about 5-8 seconds the spook is over, the car switches back and then runs normally. Feels a little like during the emergency run. The problem is only just after the cold start. The engine lamp does not work. Also no errors are saved. Does anyone have an idea?

Callback G500 W463a fuel transport module. Kafka lives!!!
There is a callback campaign for the G (at least the 500) because of a possibly defective fuel transport module. You should not drive any more. I tried to get an appointment with the dealer today, there they told me that the tank can only be filled up to 20%. I still have 60% petrol in it. Answer: A repair is not possible. I should drive the empty. That is kafkaesk: How, please, should I get the tank empty, if Mercedes writes, one has to “immediately” in the workshop???? Hello dear G-community, after two years of searching I think I have finally found my G. It is a short 270 cdi in black with black leather seats, heating without a lot of rust and 245000 kilometers run by private, first hand and with all checkbook entries of Mercedes for 22000 €. What do you think the price is justified, what should I pay attention to when running?? I can’t look into the technology, I see the condition of the car yes, Unt erboden is also quite ok. Hello, I used my 400 Bj 2001 with rainwater in the footroom of the passenger side. (Only in rain so runs somewhere from outside) At first that was so much that I could have opened the windows and it would not have run in less water. I have a G-Class with additional equipment “Stainless Steel Package” and am quite surprised that many small points are formed with corrosion spots on the spare wheel cover. After I carried out the “magnet test” I found that the spare wheel cover – in contrast to the running boards – is strongly magnetic. The vehicle is year 2012. The workshop was also quite surprised about the stains and replaced the cover free of charge. It is important to look at your “stainless steel” reserverad covers and let the cover at Mercedes-Benz be replaced free of charge. PS: The surface becomes more sensitive and reacts even faster from the constant overpolishing. I have the assumption that the installed “Edelstah” reserveraddications are not high-quality stainless steel and inferior quality has been installed. Brake caliper G 270 cdi
moinzen, had noticed yesterday, that it smells like burnt brake lining and that the rear right rim was warm. Today, the brake was not really solid but already heavy, after brake operation it releases only cumbersomely. So wheel off, brake caliper lower screw loosened and folded up, the piston cuff is damaged. Everything already clean and smooth made and now is good again. But that does not last long and then it starts again. So in the EPC check, the repair kit (A000 421 1248 with piston, seal and cuff) costs around 100 euros, the whole saddle about 300. And then I tried it again in the bay for an exception, and what do I find, tens of inexpensive brake calipers for the G-Class, also at the rear, which cost only from 60 euros. For front with two pistons still under 100. also from Bosch. Even repair kits. Only for my model 270 cdi is there nothing. Can that be, after all, that was a volume model for the AMG? is not the saddle, I can see that, but maybe pass the overtaking kit, of which I only need the cuff. The AMG piston has 42mm diameter. Does any of you know if it could fit with the 270er? The part number of the 270-brake saddle is A000 420 1079.
