Good day, please excuse the perhaps naive question. I have come from the Audi warehouse and have now driven a R class 320 cdi with 7g gearbox to the test. Unfortunately, the car had short but multiple performance problems during the acceleration from the partial load range. Specifically, the partial load resulted from the acceleration at the end of the location massive tension interruptions, the R has really pushed violently. In the second cycle between massive delay and acceleration. This scenario was reproduced twice at the end of the following villages. However, the R managed several accelerations out of the stand without any problems afterwards. NUCLEAR QUESTIONS: DOES THE 7G IN C AND OR S MODUS NOT SELF-EMPLOYED, WHEN THE PADEL ON THE LENKRAD BE USED FOR MANUFACTURING? The gearbox as a cause of damage can be ruled out with high certainty, since the Wan and the oil was changed completely and the seller does not know the problem according to his own description. I just want to exclude an operating error, because I rejected the car, which I really would like to have, last night! Thanks for your short answer 🙂

Space
yesterday I visited a r in the short version – a 6 seater. I was very surprised how little space the vehicle had. yes, it was the short version – and I am only 1.90 m tall – but nobody can sit behind me in the vehicle, except a child maybe. also the headroom was sufficient, but not overwhelming. when I folded the back flap, the opening didn’t appear very large, and the flap didn’t open very high either. stupidly, I had myself then put in a w164… I got into a lot of thinking – the w251 seems to me except the sitting position opposite my old 15 years s210 in terms of the space to offer little more space, except perhaps in the height… are there changers from s210 here who can correct my perception?(also, the loss of value surprised me a little, but that’s probably another topic…)

R 350 Gasoline Mj.2008 / Problems and other questions
Hi and good morning, as my passion for exotics is getting higher waves and I am looking for a comfortable long-distance car with lots of space and good seats (two-time intervertebral disc incident!), I noticed the R-Class in the last few days. To choose from a 2008 model year in long version with the 350 petrol (I hate diesel!). What must be considered fundamentally with this model? What about the rust susceptibility (relative to the ML series). Technical reliability? in conjunction with the 7-speed automatic drive? Would I be very happy about tips! Martin

Control unit light
Good evening, with me suddenly appears in the display, after the light has been turned on, the message “curve light without function” (curve light in that sense he does not believe at all, but only this bending light over the fog lamp) and “Abblend light to the right”. The dipped light on the right side is, when the message comes, also failed. Sometimes it takes a little longer until the light fails and the message comes (always both messages together), sometimes immediately after the Turn on. Left works without problems. Now my question, is there a certain control unit that controls the lighting only on the right side and that may have a bump away? Greetings, Ben

Used purchase R-Class
Hello together, I’m just thinking about whether an R-Class in Lang is the new suitable used car for me (see us). For 5 people (children’s seats !) an A6 Avant is sometimes a bit borderline …. I looked at the R-Class in the NL and I liked it quite well. When I looked at the used market, I noticed a few things. The 5+2 version in Lang is not so often available. Usually the vehicles 4+2 are equipped. 2nd row at all useful use – with child seat or by an adult – or can one confidently do without the seat and so the number of available used vehicles “increase” ? I imagine it dangerous and uncomfortable with 5 people and a 4+1 seat loaded e.g. to drive on vacation. Or can one the 3rd row only completely fold ? I have read that one can upgrade (usually only very expensive) the 5th seat. Expensive because of the reinforcement of the brake system. nn the car is pre-fitted for the 5th OR if it owns the AIRMATIC. Can this be confirmed with the Airmatic someone? Are there cheap and reliable ways to get to this middle seat? I looked at ads with EZ from 2007 because I don’t want to have an old car. Sometime in 2007 came the MOPF. Should an R-Class that I buy be built after the model Plfege or is there a production date up to which the R-Class has known defects? I have read somewhere that MB sells converted vehicles to free dealers, the fear of getting 30k€ of expensive scrap is of course great. Is your idea of selling cars from free dealers, some of which have already 150tkm-220tkm in 2-4 years. Do you have to distance yourself from such vehicles from the best or what is your experience? Why are many vehicles after 3 years with free dealers and not with the NL as I would expect for example with leasing backrunners? en or tips ? best thanks in advance Tim

Which coolant is the right one?
Hello dear FoRumsfRounde, after extensive research here a excursion on the topic of coolant: If you roll the operating material regulations of Mercedes, you come to the conclusion that our cars demand a cooler supplement/refrigerant according to sheet 325.0 (concentrate), or also 326.0, that is then already in the ratio 50/50 with water premixed. If you go with this desire to the friendly one, he will usually offer a blue coolant and also the search on the accessories market ze In Germany, however, almost all coolants in the above list are blue, reference here is the Glysantin G48. Now my R-Class from factory Tuscaloosa is filled with yellow coolant and I would like to give if half a litre is missing no blue one. In my search in the list I found two yellow ones according to sheet 325.0: the Zerex G 05 from Valvoline, which is only sold in the USA, and the Glysantin G05. The latter is only available in the 20 litre canister in Germany. This is enough for the next 30 years… This is where the resourceful internet trade comes into play, which the G05 also offers in 1 l or 2 l containers.

Experience with separation grid/separation network?
Hello together, I have seen that MB offers under the number B67660099 a separation grid/separation net, which can be mounted behind the 2nd row of seats, for example, to be able to pack the trunk under the ceiling on holiday trips. Depending on the dealer this is offered between 160 and 190 €. The images and descriptions found so far do not allow any statement about the stability of the grid, but rather allow the quality of a thin “flying grid” to be guessed – would of course completely a Bsurd. Does one of you have such a separation grid and can tell if the part is really robust and holds something back, if you have packed back (not too heavy) luggage up to the top and have to step on the brake properly? Sure, that the lighter things lie above, but also those my children in the 2nd row and later also do not fly around my ears with a full braking. How expensive is it to mount that part? Is this possible in a few handles or is the length I’m sorry, Robert, I’m sorry, but I’m sorry, Robert.

Delles in tailgate with electric drive
Hello together I have an R. Over time I watched growing dents on the left and right of the handle list at the bend at the tailgate. For a long time I could not explain how these were created within 6 months since purchase. When the automatic drive could not close the flap again, I pressed the flap under the license plate and promptly caused a bump. I therefore assume that the dents also press through the manual I also noticed the same damage to other R-Class vehicles. Apparently, there are also other classes. Therefore, the question to you: is this a general problem with Mercedes with rear flap drive? Best regards MB-R

Rost
Hello guys, wanted to start a collection thread, as it is with you with the topic rust. Had had my recently completely checked on it, and with me would find nothing at all.. luckily. (Stand now also some months outside) I would just be interested if it is somehow year of construction dependent, whether the rust occurs, and one can exclude it from a certain year of construction. Therefore, I would be interested to see if the mopf can also rust. a few experiences grateful, Ps. Meiner is from 2007 and it is like said nothing to see. Greetings Christian.

R500 Guidance-Purchasing advice
Hello together. My name is Michael, I write from Austria and am new here. Come from the Vw Forum corner. Feel like a forum tourist, I’m also a guest in the Saab municipality. I’m thinking about buying a second car/transporter. Among other things, an R500 came into my mind. Budget is at max 1500€(nothing is clear to me) so a Bj 2006 offers itself. Have an eye on a model,is listed on autoscout24.at(are only 3 R500 on offer, unfortunately it can not link) Bj 2006 4+2Sitzer 202000km around 11990€ (female dealer) Long or short version is not noted maybe you can help me there. Same with leather equipment Alkantara? Full leather better? Running performance is high. Is such an Fz still well rideable for 100000km?(principally) To the R500 in general. What extras should be installed in any case? What is possible? How repair-friendly is the V8? Does a free competent workshop get along with it? Have the budget already increased once, but pay Is there another increase for a 2007 R500 with the 388Ps? The 306Ps engine is supposed to be the more robust.? That’s it for the first time. Thank you for your patience while reading. Would be grateful for your answers as well as for experiences and tips. P.s. FAQ and forum has already been browsed. MfG Michael
