Good evening together, I have an R350cdi from 2011 with 121,000km and since last week the following problem. On the way home from the city in stagnant traffic I suddenly could not really give up and the engine had no power anymore. Later the problem disappears again. Still 2 times short distance driven (approx. 15km) without problems and completely normal switching. The right hose and the engine at the front in the middle are visibly oiled (see pictures), otherwise nothing is noticeable. However, I am also a technical layman. The replacement of the steering chain cost over 280€ The bulwark application was made in a nice letter with the reference to the 9th operating year and 135tsd driven kilometers. I think that’s embarrassing for the manufacturer. They messed up at the W251 and they don’t stand for it.

I once had a Lexus with air suspension, so I also had so a problem and there you could change something under the car with a screwdriver and wrench – each with each tire – and say so to the air suspension – where it should stand higher or lower. Is there something like that here too? Strange is that both sides drive up at the same time – and the difference between both sides remains the same.
