  • Emergency run and slight oil loss

    Good evening together, I have an R350cdi from 2011 with 121,000km and since last week the following problem. On the way home from the city in stagnant traffic I suddenly could not really give up and the engine had no power anymore. Came hardly from the spot and the automatic turned up very early, but not down any more, so that I could hardly swim in the traffic, let alone later on the country road. I then on a dirt road, car off, again on. Problem away, was al At the beginning of the week, other problem, automatic switches unclean and powerless, speed goes up before switching into the next gear approx. 300 rpm. Later the problem disappears again. Still 2 times short distance driven (approx. 15km) without problems and completely normal switching. Was 2 days ago to read out for error at my free workshop, result there was no error deposited. I have now researched something here in the forum and am on various possible causes. The right hose and the engine at the front in the middle are visibly oiled (see pictures), otherwise nothing is noticeable. However, I am also a technical layman. Can someone give a remote diagnosis on the basis of my description and the attached pictures or at least exclude something. The replacement of the steering chain cost over 280€ The bulwark application was made in a nice letter with the reference to the 9th operating year and 135tsd driven kilometers. I think that’s embarrassing for the manufacturer. They messed up at the W251 and they don’t stand for it.

  • Car’s wrong in the back!?

Front springs – 320 cdi – 2006 – 4matic In any case it is quite wrong in the back. If I turn on the car, then it drives up to the right and left at the same time – that takes about 1 minute – nevertheless the driver’s side remains lower than the passenger side. I once had a Lexus with air suspension, so I also had so a problem and there you could change something under the car with a screwdriver and wrench – each with each tire – and say so to the air suspension – where it should stand higher or lower. Is there something like that here too? Strange is that both sides drive up at the same time – and the difference between both sides remains the same. I am happy about help and tips – if I need a new air bellow – you always have to exchange both sides together? le, which you can recommend? Thank you!!

  • Xenon passing light Lights or fuses
