Hello, the Comand system in the W251 from 2007 has recently increased listening to sound oscillations on the radio or playing CD, then the sound comes back and stays away again. It started with TV reception on reverse gear. The function Map hangs now as well. The car has in the Fond TV DVD system of MB. When I arrived with the problem of TV reception on reverse gear, the friendly meant it is on the control unit of Comand, costs 2,500 EUR, without exchange! I asked him if e r could connect a new control unit to try out that it really is because he meant that once the packaging is on, you have to pay it. I confronted him with it, where does the realization come from without a mistake being read out, maybe it is a cable break or something else, he has not had an answer. I can already make the definitive statement that the R-Class with Airmatic is more comfortable than my a I already have a few small questions to the R-Class-fraction. – my rear center console is not illuminated even though it is installed in the rear position. For a few weeks now I have had the following problem with my tailgate: Sometimes it is not possible for me to open it automatically (key, handle or door). It does not unlock, but then wants to drive up correctly, what one hears from the noises and also sees at the beginning of a movement of the tailgate. Also the support with force does not change, since the lock is locked. After the vehicle was in rest mode (so overnight) the flap works perfectly. From there it is sometimes, not always, the end with Easy-Pack. Then it is called climbing, seat flaps and the mechanical unlocking effort. If you lock the lock with the open flap (manual changing of the hook) there is only a short noise when the Easy-Pack is triggered, the hook remains closed and can only be mechanically unlocked If the vehicle is in this condition, you can only hope that it will be released again after a long break. Good day together, I have a concern again and need your advice: I drive a R class year 2008 and so far I have always navigated via mobile phone and hardly used the function of navigation of the R-Class so really because it was just so far always outdated on the stand of 2009. Last we were in the Czech Republic and the mobile phone battery was empty and also no charging cable in the vehicle available now we stood there in the middle of a country so language we almost not mastered long text short meaning we were able to navigate with the signs back to Germany, but a replacement navigation system in the R class would have been an advantage. So I already got a little knowledge and looked for newer DVDs but the latest DVD for navigation I found for the R class or generally from Mercedes was from 2016 and 99 € more expensive now my question how are you navigating in the R-Class? Did you vie Light new DVDs? Thanks for your help

Hello, on my R-Class 320 tdi 4Matic, 2006 the rear “air spring bellows” and the compressor were recently renewed. After a short time the car slid off back again. The compressor does not start, my screwdriver thinks it could be the electronics. The relay was changed, but did not adapt to the car – the engine turned, but did not jump on, so old relay was re-used. Has someone done the same or similar experience, or has someone tips to remedy this. ? I would be very grateful and would be happy!

Hello everyone, look for your experiences and experiences that will help me make a comparison.To the problem, about 6 weeks ago I bought a R280 (petrol) 4×2 short, first registration in 2008, checkbook maintained at MB, at my MB dealer. At takeover he got a new big inspection. The R-Class is a 5 seater, motor 272 with comand and trailer coupling etc. (information due to vehicle weight). According to operating instructions the consumption on the motorway is 8,6-8.8 liters and i m average 63% highway 37% city 10.9l. I have a very gentle gas foot and move the vehicle mainly on the flat land (almost no traffic lights, traffic jams, etc.) and on the highway usually hit with cruise control at 120 km/h rarely even at 150 km/h, no frantic driving maneuvers simple predictive driving. Have now good 3700km behind me with an average consumption of 13.7 liters (calculated by tank receipts and driven kilometers) at good (all 80% highway, 15% land and 5% city traffic. A conversation with my MB seller has of course already taken place the car was also read out briefly (some errors in the memory), supposedly everything normal … stop the usual bla bla didn’t really want to help me get rid of me quickly. I made a consumption trip in the first 14 days after purchase = extreme sneaking, very slow driving almost never over 2000 rpm etc. at approx. -1°C, 95% highway 5% L and s. 280km consumption 12.7litres (calculated as above) So far from the 8.8l. I recently made the second consumption trip at +10°C and according to instructions from MB, all consumers from = no climate, light etc., pure highway ride, start of the measurement with warm engine, refueling at the same tank / position etc. consumption = 10l14,43% above the manufacturer’s specification. The measuring drives of about 500km extreme loops are in my above 3700km with an additional consumption of weni 26% (via manufacturer’s specification) are included. 1. I find that quite a lot or is this a normal consumption for this vehicle? 2. How are your experiences? 3. Hi guys, I drive a R 320 long and I’m actually very satisfied.Only the consumption bothers me.In the city he takes 16 liters.On track around the 10-11 liters.When I bought the car he didn’t take so much. Do you have the problem that this USA Rollo no longer roll up.Have the cap where the lock switch is on get off,so right side if you stand in front of it,I don’t get the left side without violence.Did the rollo on the open side rotate multiple times until voltage occurs, lid with switch on it again,result does not roll up.What can/must I do to roll it up on my own again???? How do I get rid of the left side without destroying the lid??,

Hello , have had a problem with my R-Class 2006 bj. ,96000 KM R 320 CDI 4matic for one month. When I drive out of our driveway and turn to the main road I hear a crackling noise from the front axle . It does not sound like the rattling noise of a defective wheel bearing and it sometimes only sporadically occurs . It cracks 2-3 times when starting . Was therefore already twice at MB . There however only something was changed at the steering , the master was at pickup the opinion that everything is okay and nothing cracks anymore. Unfortunately, that was not so.It is not very loud to hear but I hear it just and notice it in the foot. Was also already at a private check from the TÜV since I bought the R only in February, but also the TÜV meant it is all OK. I am a bit at a loss, I should rather go to another MB workshop, have still the Young Stars guarantee. Thank you for your answers.
