With my steamer the braking pressure was very spontaneous and suddenly the brake pressure was simply gone. A very threatening situation. Car just got home and informed the towing service. My workshop informed me today that all brake lines under the vehicle are rusty and they are completely rusted in one place. As a result, so much BREAKDOWN has gone out (and air has come into the system) that the brake pressure was almost zero after a short time. I rolled the 2 KM in front of our house under considerable danger for life and with the help of the handbrake. The workshop said that otherwise the car is rusty good, so I find it very worrying and disturbing that with a vehicle just over 10 years old, such safety-relevant components are already worn out. Is there any similar experience with you?

Day dear community, hope someone can help me. With my R the radio remote control does not work. The car can be opened and closed without any problems via IR at the driver’s door handle, but via radio nothing does at all. Have changed the antenna amplifier in the tailgate and the same game, it does nothing. On the antenna amplifier are connected 3 cables, does not have to have a continuous plus or is it controlled by the antenna cable? Image I’m attached to it. The only thing that comes from the car is the beige yellow with the pink plug. The red green goes to the rear window. Unfortunately, don’t have a second key to test if it might be on the hatch? Hi, the fan of my climate for the third row of seats does not want to start. At the fan control are measured 12 volts at the entrance. However, no 12v at the output for the fan come out. If I take the input 12 volts directly on the fan bridge then the fan jumps perfectly. I thought the fan control is broken and I needed a climate box shot and the fan control rebuilt. However, the same picture. I can now only explain that the fan control is broken. control signals (left both lines in the circuit diagram) don’t fit. I don’t know how to look like, how to check them exactly. Does anyone know advice? Edit: my pictures are simply not taken over. Will try again this evening on the computer.

Hello Now, since we have the car, it has been the second time that the car has been stuck in a gear while driving. It no longer switches up and no longer down, even with the buttons behind the steering wheel, nothing changes. The only thing that helps, stop, engine off, key out, start again, restart and it goes again. I have read in other forums that this happens more often with the 7G transmission and the control unit, or a sensor there. so far so good, only I have an invoice from January 2023 where exactly this unit was exchanged, including the transmission oil – can that be that it is not possible now? Or does something have to be re-learned? I was recently with Mercedes and they have read out errors – there was also no fault of the transmission deposited. What would you do? Hello all! I have an R 320CDI 4-Matic Lang EZ. 09/2008 with meanwhile 250tkm. Unfortunately, now obviously a gearbox is causing problems. But the automatic transmission does not seem to be, because switching operations are impeccable. Actually only 3 transmissions (distributor gearbox, front or rear differential) remain. I exclude the rear differential at first, since the noises come from the front. Is there a way to determine if it is more the distribution gearbox t or could be the differential without having to disassemble/extend everything? In which driving conditions (accelerate, bend, accelerate straight ahead, start/accelerate curves) is it more likely which of the two gears it could be? Or is there anyone in the Darmstadt area who could help/hear that?

Moin, after 4 years old MB Abstinence, a W251 R 500 Bj.01.2007 found the way to my yard. What I didn’t notice yesterday when I bought is that the driver’s door is not locked. If I press down the pin when the driver’s door is closed then I have to lock the car several times and unlock it bits I can open the door again. However, the pin remains below when I open the door from the outside. Only who I use the inner door handle the pin goes up again .
