Hello Folks, I haven’t appeared in the S-Class Forum yet. I wanted to catch up on that. I’ve been enthusiastic about the Mercedes-Benz vehicles for a long time. I don’t think another brand is in fact possible for me. Mercedes is an attitude. But actually I wanted something completely different: I just saw the commercial for the new S-Class on VOX. I don’t know if any of you have seen it before: I’ve just seen it for the first time. You can see a lot of lists first and the speaker tells me something about “Everyone writes lists. People love lists. And all lists have one thing in common: the new S-Class is in 1st place” Maybe someone already has the commercial on his computer? Hello, I’m absolutely not sure, this is about a taste question. Here is a picture of my “little one”, once in the original condition, then once with the chrome rings to be bought as accessories. What better / chic/ nobler? I had these chrome rings before, but were wrongly mounted and flew almost away at speed 200. Had cost me 100 Euro. I bought now at Eybay: chrome rings for headlights, chrome – door handle shells and chrome rings for the rear lights. I don’t know if I like it – it sounds funny, but it’s like that. Financially, it wasn’t bad, all together under 100 euros. I’d rather throw away 100 euros than rotting my benzli. PLEASE just write down your opinion. Thanks for your help. What about the occupant safety of the W126? Can you survive an accident noc in such an old car? Is there a crash test a la euro-ncap from the W126? I am now quite familiar with the weaknesses and different types, now only a general question to understand: In the new model generation from 1986 there was a subsequent performance increase of the 5.6 litre moror to 279hp or 300hp (without cat). At the moment I am on a really perfectly standing model from 1986 from first hand. This was original I have a RÜF with a registered 272hp, the cat has been retrofitted one or two years after EZ by Mercedes. Hello, I wanted to briefly describe my impressions how people react to the W140. I have been driving a 400SE of `92 for almost half a year. Actually an old box. I have to find out again and again that people are still extremely envious of this vehicle (don’t look at it). Very bad are older men. They look basically from the corner of the eye on the car. When parking I am often grinned and when I fill up at the gas station for 128€ I will even be a A neighbor who enjoys a new C-class every 2 years doesn’t say good day to me anymore.
