one of the rare cases has occurred now I need your help, someone has the tool for changing the supporting joints, one-two pictures are enough for me, (the drawing on the WIS is too indistinct) then I can make it for myself, or buy someone, because in 15 years I need this already again Here in Hamburg, the supposedly no workshop has any more, my call to Hazet was (except for the fees) also for free Thank you for the effort The press-in direction has the Numm he 116 589 04 62 00 and is needed here

  • Tyre brand selection for CL 500 275/40 – 245/45

So far I had the Dunlop SP Sport 9000 tyres (front: 245/45 R18 96Y; rear:275/40 R18 99 Y) on the vehicle. The Dunlop tyres had already driven off after about 25-27000 KM in the back. I wanted to get the successor model of Dunlop, the Sport Maxx.Unfortunately, they are not in size 275/40 and are also not in preparation. According to the Fz.-schein, the manufacturers Bridgest., Conti, Michelin and Conti can still be raised. I would like to note that on a 330i BMW with I can’t tell if you can compare this directly, because it is two different vehicles. Who can say anything more about the choice of tyre brand, especially about the 275/40 R18 and 245/45 R18 tyres? I would like to thank you in advance for the information!

  • Dark secret…

Hello guys, sometimes I really envy the USA… In Puerto Rico, for example, I saw an S class with all-around dark panes, but so that you couldn’t look through it. SOGAR THE WINDER PROTECTION SHEETS !!! So my concern: Could you not avoid the restrictive regulation by a little tuning work? More precisely: If you just built a second disc one that is completely dark, which you can also raise/lower electrically, one, you could avoid this rule, or there is another rule g? Conclusion: You could have the windows completely dark at the front left & right (and also at the back left & right)??? Thank you in advance, mfg Say

  • 300SE – Someone with a clue…???

Servus… My heart bleeds when I have to address it, but my darling is sick… and that’s been going on for quite a while… Maybe one of you has an idea what it might be about…?!?! My problem: If it’s absolutely cold, everything is still fine, but as soon as it gets to the 50°C it starts. He doesn’t really take the gas… sometimes even so bad that he pulls less and less, the more gas I give… The whole thing is over then (happily doesn’t last too long) If he has left the 50°C far behind… if he is really warm then 80-90°C he runs again like ́ne one… I can’t really explain it… Thermostat and temperature sensors have already changed… So I am grateful for every advice… many thanks LG Deniz

  • Test drive w221 S-Class

I had the pleasure of testing the new S-Class for the entire weekend. The vehicle is an S-Class of workmanship and driving behaviour. This means that it is certainly a luxury car. I had no introduction from the seller, yet I could control the vehicle in all functions without looking at the operating instructions, the functions are overly logically designed and explain themselves. In particular, the new Comand is the first cream. I find the S-Class undermotorized according to the engine (S3350). The performance is sufficient to move such a drive train. So you should take the 500 (is of course subjective) The engine (V6) class is of course of the quietness. My conclusion: Very nice car. But don’t switch from E to S. The difference is too small for me. In the future, a lot of things will certainly be taken over by the S in the new E. Above all, the Comand. Greetings S tephan

  • What exactly are S-Class drivers by profession?

Hello Many people know the S-Class technically very well. Others seem to be concerned with design… What are S-Class drivers by profession? So I’m a real estate dealer in Switzerland, but screw on my S-Class anyway to everything I do myself, even if I sometimes have to settle in with oil. But from the electrics I leave my fingers… Greetings from ippi

  • Was/Is anyone at the IAA Frankfurt?

Hello Was or is there someone at the automobile exhibition in Frankurt? Unfortunately I don’t get to drive myself. But would be nice to see some pictures of the booth of the new S-Class and some impressions about it…maybe also some details about workmanship quality etc. Many greetings from ippi

  • How many times have the stars been torn from the hood?

My star has been torn down overnight! Luckily the hood is undamaged. I will drive to MB and invest about 18 €. On this car the first time, here in front of the door anyway (garages are unfortunately not available here). On my W116 I was torn off 25 years ago in the wash road one, but it was probably frozen. In 2005 I was broken up at my W124 (on the way) 2. At my W210 the star was loose (Murks from the previous owner), I had it changed. Dab A badge instead of a star on the hood is no substitute for me, if necessary I buy a new one every day… So 3 stolen stars in 25 years, that still works, right? What does your balance look like? lg Rüdiger:-)

  • Mercedes S-class as the first car?

Hello dear community, Since we, therefore my father, still have a s-class unregistered stocked equipped, I wanted to ask if such a car goes through as a beginner car? It is so year 2005, converted to gas(about 14l of it/100km) and has about 320ps. Is also well equipped and I like very well. Is this car for me to drive? Or rather an old gulf from the grandmother or something? Is still a bit gone, but you make your thoughts LG, miiit
