  • W220 – WINTERREIFEN 225/60 R16 98V (NEW) for incredible EUR 72.40

The tip is originally from egenwurm: THANK YOU again!!!http://ssl.delti.com/…/rshop.pl?… The tyres are highly recommended, loud ams like summer tires, so weak on snow. Ride them yourself and am very satisfied. So if you have to drive almost never on snow, you buy a top winter tire that is allowed up to 240 km/h. Important are not the snow – characteristics, but that the insurance can’t do anything for me, since they are winter tires.

  • W220: All problems with Mopf gone?

I’m currently driving a W211 and there’s at least one new problem every week. I’m starting to start thinking about buying another (reliable) car. I hear the W220 Mopf is supposed to be the last Benz with the old Mercedes quality. Is that so?

  • Problems with the Wonderwork 7G

Hello together, 2 weeks ago a rabbit ran into my car. Fronschürze and condenser were destroyed. Everything as far as no problem, workshop has done everything well. On Tuesday of last week I got the car back from the workshop and there was a lot to hear that a funny howl was heard. It is speed-dependent and is getting brighter and brighter the higher I turn. Since the slide again and again through gears. When reading the fault memory confirmed itself the V The car now has 130,000 km on it and is about 3 years old! How can it be that the highly praised 7 G is already giving up its spirit after 130,000 km? With a car, which has recently hit at almost 100,000,00 Euro, one can expect that it can reach more than 130,000 km. Unfortunately, it is also the 2nd gearp roblem. A defective ECU has already done a damage of EUR 2,000,00! Did anyone need to change your 7G? I’m curious what is still coming to light today. I’ll keep you informed. Greeting from Lower Bavaria. Anton

  • Water pump defective! And still 430 km to home…

Hello people ! I am with my wife and the 260er since a few days in Hamburg (live in Mönchengladbach, easy distance are about 430 km). Yesterday I noticed coolant loss and was therefore yesterday in a MB branch here in HH. Result: was actually clear: the water pump says goodbye and fast a repair is not possible, since we drive tomorrow (so Saturday) anyway back home. However, the master at MB said, with moderate driving mode and regularly the filling of the coolant tank should be the way to make it – but of course I’m worried. Therefore my question to you: do you see this as well ? Did any of you ever have similar problems ? Or do you have any other tricks in stock to master the track ? I am grateful for every tip ! Greetings from HH (is already a very interesting metropolis), tom260

  • W140 Level regulation

Hello Today the spring memory was changed at my W140, finally it drives normally and does not jump anymore 🙂 But now I have a question about the level control because I found nothing in the manual about it. How does it work, always thought that when the engine runs and I sit eg on the trunk edge the car automatically pumps up. But it doesn’t do that, hear after a few seconds that under the car is a bit hissing but it doesn’t do anything. You have to drive o What’s this all about? Greetings Michael

  • W220 S320 CDI – without NAVI !!! Upgrade ???

Good ABend! After my W210 (270cdi) I actually thought – NEVER MORE BENZ! But now I found a Mod.2000 /EZ2001 W220 320CDI at a dealer. So it’s only true with 107000km ! at the price of EUR 14.900,– untraded. (Please no price tips – because of too expensive etc. … in Austria you have to be happy to find such a car, I will act naturally, but actually the price is with the small selection OK) For inexplicable reasons was at that time in the equipment gespa rt – it is missing e.g. seat memory and especially a NAVI !!!! Now to my question: can you retrofit this with the car – or is not worth the effort ?? If yes, what would you have to buy everything ? Thank you for your tips ! lg Willy

  • RTL is filming my car with a routine check-up…

Hello guys, this is what happened on weekends: On Friday I was on my way to Frankfurt with a buddy. Suddenly an inch car drove in front of me, which I had to follow until the next rest place. There I was chased by a customs officer in a white tent, where my car was then searched by customs. To crown everything was filmed by a camera team of RTL for a reportage. So if you want to know what happened and if she had anything to do with me. the days look car is a black CL (see profile) best greeting, and you all have an accident-free ride into the spring ! blue320

  • Hinterachstranslation – Is it worth changing it?

Hello! I wanted to ask myself if a rear axle differential change with a W126 or W124 is possible or recommended without too much effort. The 300s are actually quite short translated compared to the eight cylinders (3,27 vs 2,24 if I am not mistaken). Can one install the 2.82 rear axle of the 420er into a 300er in order to drive more smoothly? (which should have a positive effect on wear and consumption) Or is this counterproductive because the car in the cityve Return “more effort” must be made? Best greeting to all!
