Today I had nothing else to break my car in the DB workshop for the purpose of A-Assyst (oil and filter change at Mr. Wash for € 54). The invoice———a banger whole € 32,41 plus MwST. And then say a Mercedes is expensive???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????. -….??????????????????????.???????????????????????????????????????????????????????.???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I don’t even think it’s a bad excuse book.

Hello would like to buy me from my free budget ( 20,000 euro ) a CL 500 mopf ( BJ 2002, 3, 4 ). I already have the one or the other in the eye. mostly more than 100,000 KM ( which is probably not so bad in this class cars). what can you say about the CL 500. there are problems that are known ? can occur ? the car costs about 16,000 euro, thus 4000 euro in advance reserve. I would even have carried out a small workshop at hand the repairs, inspections (all cars me ister with years of experience). what would you recommend before buying ? on what should you pay attention ? mfg

Hello, today the annual check was due again. Unfortunately a serious defect was found: the parking brake pulls completely unequal (li 3,00, re 1,40 !). Last year this was still different: there were values at li 3,30 and re 3,50. Since I use the parking brake absolutely NEVER it is obvious that there is somewhere the rope train rusted. Did someone already have the same problem ? Since I would like to fix the problem myself immediately also the question: comes one a n the rope pull just so, or has to there the plastic decoction or the wheels down. Guess that there is nothing without stage, or maybe still ? Normally a little MOS2 spray should pass on the rope pull – or is there a better solution ? Nice greeting

Hello to the S-Class and Sterngemeinde! For some time I have been looking for a w126, 2nd series. The car has been doing it to me since my childhood, my father drove two of these cars, which are desirable in many ways (1st series). The memories should soon be “refreshed” and my desire for own ownership put into action. For about 6 months now I am crisscrossed, for hours and almost every day on the Internet and look around, compare, durc hstöbere Foren, Portale etc… I had taken a closer look at one or the other car, but then again rejected (visit in Berlin or Augsburg for time reasons not feasible/ price too high).But good thing wants to have a while…But to get to the point 😉 1. The annual run performance (use only in the summer season) will be at most 5000 km 2. approx. 3/4 of the annual run performance is completed in the city 3. Tempo = Cruise speed 4. 5. Even if the topic of fuel consumption is rather secondary and has been dealt with several times in this forum, does one of you know reasonably reliable comparative data between 300’s and 500’s? Since the costs are rising even here it is perhaps not quite so uninteresting for me. Maybe who has a website at hand. Unfortunately, my previous research was not so satisfactory. The city has a lot to offer. I have heard/read about the 8 cylinders that they are smoother. The 6 cylinders, however, are more economical. However, with an annual run capacity of up to 5000 km you might neglect?? Which purchase would you advise me to buy? I am torn back and forth between a 300 SE (the long version is very rarely to be found here according to my research) and a 500 SEL. And an SEL would be fine;-) Un d last but not least: What do you think, apart from the fixed costs (insurance/tax/garage rental/petrol…) how much should be targeted monthly for repair/maintenance costs? Hello. It’s about og. models. With autogas they are still too expensive and have had 3 cars with gas..all only had worse. so it should be nn diesel in the next few months I think. Which can you recommend? What should you be aware of? Vulnerabilities? ROST??? Repairs??? VIelen Thanks.gruss, daniel
