W140 oil in the pump of the ZV central transmission

The following solution of the problem in my opinion: Cause is a defective valve block of the vacuum system. This is located in the footroom to the right of the passenger side. As soon as the side carpet is removed. Easy to recognize as violet slurry as well as yellow and white are connected there. All W140 to Ser.No. A216190. after there was a modified valve from MB (Why?). Parts No. to A216190 is A 140 800 0478 From A 216190 it is A 129 800 1478. The reason will probably be a defective backstroke valve in the valve block. This can suck oil mist from the intake chamber of the engine up to the pump. Important: If the heating system is stationary –EIN— one is the heating water circulating pump ALWAYS OFF. Conclusion: If the pump is defective, it is not bad. If you are satisfied with the heating performance and the –REST- function is not required. For the function of the heating system it is not required.

What does the ASD really do?

S320(W220)–KLIMA – Ventilation…
Hello experts! On my S320 with automatic air conditioning I noticed on the weekend on 500km drive that the temperature set to 22C in the interior can not be h a l t e n. The first half hour it runs 1a and then hardly any air comes out of the ventilation…..it sounds as if somehow the ventilation runs but the air cannot blow into the interior (as if something is clogged, i.e. even with manual intervention and highest ventilation stage no more air is in motion The fan then runs on full power—only– air or wind draft is not to be felt. Only after switching to “climate off” & nomal ventilation (red diode burns)—–and then again “KLIMA AN” the system adjusts itself again. WHO would have a hint about what this might be? Gear problems again
Hello together, first of all I would like to say how great you find this forum. Were already many solutions for me, unfortunately not the right one yet. So, now to my problem. Drive an S600 year 1991. For about half a year I have the problem, which the gearbox has different symptoms. At normal start-up it switches down at about 30 kmh into the first gear and then immediately up again. At kick down from the stand, the problem does not occur. In addition, it is so, if I At about 80 kmh the speed of the kickdown wants to do, the speed goes into the rotary fence limiter, as if it were switching into a too low gear. These problems do not always occur. Sometimes the gearbox also switches very delayed and slow. The car was in a MB “specialist workshop”. This swallowed up to today approx. 800€. Previously the inspections were made fairly. MB has probably changed pretty much everything that came to mind. Among other things, the LMM, both Kat. I checked the switch “B” myself – it’s ok. The engine is running like one now. For example, if you do kickdown on the highway from 130 kmh, it will mask up without any problems. I have the feeling that he has any problems with the first gear.
