Quarter mile race with W220
Hello motorsport friends, start on August 3rd at the quarter-mile race at the airport Bottrop-Kirchhellen with the start number 623. Just wanted to be in the middle of such an event instead of just being there and enjoying the mood. Besides, of course, also the time that is possible with my car is very interested. 420 SEL consumption

S 320 Automatic drive shuts down after 10 m?
Hello I drive a Mercedes Benz S 320 Bj 2005… I bought it straight straight and I have the following problem…: Start the engine= OK In the gear Schlaten (D) = Ok Drive about 10 M and the gearbox is slipping off and I can’t give any more gas car turns up only up to 1000 turns!! motor shut down..after that restart again=same effect about 10 m drive 😉 help what can that be?

So, yes I think, then I say hello! After half a year of searching I finally found a matching w126. Contrary to my original plan to buy me a 500SE it has now become a 560SEC in my dream color combination graphite metallic with light grey Alcantara leather. The car is BJ.01/1990 has run well-kept 238Tkm and is absolutely rust-free as far as on the rear window frame. Lt. ClassicData report he has a 2.4 and is accident-free. It stands on newly prepared but equally old BBS RS and has no accident damage, but probably already repaintings behind it, as the varnish is virtually perfect. Also the extension can be seen: – ABS – ASR – 2 airbags – El. sliding lifting roof – air conditioning automatic (which works) – Alcantara leather in light grey – El. seats – seat heating – 4 x El. Fh. – El. steering column – El. Asp. – El. belt carrier – 4 headrests – original Becker Radio – El. antenna – middle armrests vo. + hi. – Edelholzausstattung – Conversion to Euro 2 / D3 Everything is going perfectly. The drive home from Münster to Munich went well. The car starts immediately, very quiet and the automatic switches clean. Works which are standing by: – repair rear window frames. – refill the climate – look at brakes – car pulls slightly to the left when braking violently a nice car! … Greetings

A new introduction again

And now to me: My name is Timo, come from Clausthal-Zellerfeld in the Harz, am 27 years old and b in mechanical engineering technicians. I am generally interested in almost every classic car (or even youngtimer). I started to buy and renovate old sweethearts a few years ago, starting with a Vespa then via an Ape and now the big jump to the German Musclecar ;-). Does the forum not want to waste right away therefore I ask right here if anyone still has a telephone installation with Nokia 2110 and about it possibly technical information? Wheel rims W126 or 560SEC / noise HA
Hey hello, I actually already have a thread looking for Mercedes but no one is trying to do it here. So as I said, I have two questions/problems with which I turn to you and I recently bought a W126 Coupè and there are some “ugly” rims on it and now I have already seen at ebay what is offered there and since I noticed AMG monoblock rims in the following Deminson VA 8.5 x 19 ET46 with 245/35/19 and HA 9.5 x 19 ET46 with 275/30/19 now to my question they go on or not since I actually did not want to change the wheel runs. Can there help me there or rather not???? And now to my second question and that I have an ugly flap at the HA (it is with level) Stabi and anglers as well as shock absorbers I can actually exclude 100% (Schräglenker stop not quite believe but not so that it comes from it) at benz I was told now the container for the level of the right next to I don’t know why or how the rattling is supposed to be inwardly, but don’t know now how it is built up (so if there could be something rattling). Or do you still have a possibility where the HA often knocks out???? Thank you in advance

Swimming when tyres are 2/3 down
Hi guys, my dad has the following problem: If his S-Class was built in 2006 (does not know the exact model name 🙂 )the tires to approx. 2/3 have run off, the car shows a clear swimming, that is, it follows almost every track groove and other bumps. If we were not seaworthy, we would become sea ill 🙂 As soon as new tires are on it the problem is fixed. Just it’s stupid to throw away the tires already 3,000 kilometers before the real end n. Has one of you already had experience with this and knows a solution to the problem? Our guess would be other tires, not the Michelin installed by the factory. W126 (C126) Search Tips for Purchase
Hello! I fell in love with a 560Sec which is offered in the customer order at a car dealer nearby. First of all a few obvious dates: -Ez: 06/88 -205Kw – so with Kat as I suspect -342500Km -Amaretta seats (Alcantara from MB) -Sliding roof -Deping over springs -AMG rims VB 3990€ The overall condition is ok, as I find. No bigger bumps or scratches. Of course I found a few defects: -Inside equipment dirty, Ex-owner was smoker 🙁 -Cooler grit ll loose tires at the front of the outside -In the trunk rust under the rear window -Rost on the chrome bumpers I started the engine, it adjusts quite quickly at 500-600 rpm and runs calmly without significant vibrations or noises. It is also completely dry as far as I see it from above. And now what worries me the most: -Oil drop on the gearbox In a Tüv report I found in the car 2007 the strong oil loss on the gearbox is faulted t. Is this just a sealing thing or could the gearbox have a damage? I first signed up for the test drive next week, then I will see how it switches, there ́s certain test ́s that I can do during the ride to see if it ́s OK?
