Report in auto mobil ==>TV – broadcast on VOX, from Sunday, 17.08.2008, 16:45 UHR: New trend in car theft. ALTAUTOS!!! …because those are easy to steal due to the missing immobilizer. With the Polish key open the door and turn the ignition lock. And away eater. That on the Polish border, as on the Luxembourger, no one stands, is fact. So your beloved W126 is gone forever!!! Conclusion: Starter, gasoline pump and ignition control device…everywhere interrupt. Best all three, mi This is not what our fellow citizens from the new European countries expect. The car has to go fast. Of course, if they come with the towing car and simply charge the car… …then only a PAGER and a GPS – WANZE will help.

W 126 – engine death
Hello, my W 126 build year 1991 has been quite unpleasant for a few weeks. It just goes out and doesn’t want to start again. At first it was relatively irregular ..so 1 or 2 times a month that the car went out abruptly. No advance notice from engine stutters or oil pressure problems. Usually it then jumped after a few try again and ran smoothly. A week ago then the crankshaft sensor was replaced. Now it goes even more often without advance warning. and starts even more reluctantly.. so estimated 5-10 minutes start then it runs 2-3 seconds and goes out again. Gas it takes only short to then go out again. There is no rule for going out.. after a long drive.. after a short drive.. engine cold.. engine warm.. light out on light.. the only rule that there is that it always goes out more often. Fuel problem? new filters in.. candles? new.. injection? why does it run like a sewing machine when it is running? cams wave sensor? Air mass meter? Sensor otherwise where? Age weakness? The car has now driven me 330.000 km without any problems through the area… has turned 3 accident opponents to total damage.. unindebted.. so he went with me through thick and thin.. and now he forces me with one eye constantly to push for parking bays in case he just has to make a break again.. Who knows how my 126er does his duty again without complaint? Oh and now also an ADS lamp in the arma shines turenbrett.. because I don’t have such a damper system… very strange… So I’d be really grateful for a few tips… because of course… if the box sees a workshop from the inside, of course, it runs like a sewing machine all the time…

cl 600 with 700hp chip tuning
I have a totally cut CL 600 from a Russian reimport at a mock price. To my surprise I read in the papers that he has received a chip tuning and says and writes 700 hp. When driving, I thought that must be more than 500 hp. Alone the intermediate sprints — 80-120 in 1,2 sec. — 200-230 in 1,3sec. –300-320 in 2,2sec. are very brutal forces. According to papers, suspension and brakes are adapted, but sometimes I have the feeling that the if the brakes are a little weak on the chest, can you have something like this tested? Greetings tognino

S 320 CDI (W221): Navi-Ansage versus Radio Loudspeak
Hello ! I have a question that an experienced S-Class driver (W221) can possibly answer easily: In the case of navigation announcements, the CD or radio volume switches down as a rule, so that the hints can be heard well, or ? So I know this anyway from BMW and Audi. With my new S-Class this is strangely not so. When I listen to music, I have to make the navigation voice even louder, so that both audio sources roar against each other. my Mercedes dealer also said that this was strange, but he didn’t know the solution so far or would like to ask what could last (hm …) How do you put it, or is it “the state of the art” ? Greetings Tom PS: Otherwise I’m very satisfied, and he wasn’t in the workshop either (the predecessor, a 7-er, had already at least 4 workshop visits after 1.ooo km on the hump…)

Complaint Absence
Dear Mit-Motortalker, this morning I read a thread that just appalled me. It swarmed with insults in a way that would lead to an immediate blocking of the user nice126 and balero and a deletion of the posts in another forum. Does the moderation sound here ? Or do you all feel the following quotations as an appropriate tone of association ? Dear Greetings, Pavlok HOW KRANK IS YOU OWNLY??????? instead of constructive contributions write D u just garbage and shit!!! Sign up here at last (or since this officially does not work – don’t come back), so that we can get rid of you. You’re all over the place, nobody likes you anymore!!! Get into psychiatric treatment!!! I think you are (and that includes !!! at least!!! 56x different motor talk users) just mentally ill. everyone else (!!!) would have already shown you several times. The prosecutor doesn’t like to see multiple criminal charges (Knast!!! ) Especially not with the criminal record of some, you little hen Du!!! This sick little girl

w220 mj 05 – correct interval for changing coolant?
moin moin, it’s about w 220 070 with 113 941, mj 05. problem is that the service booklet edition A2, 06/04 under additional work on page 34 says: “With more than 250,000 km/15 years difference to the last change: renew coolant – observe coolant composition”. and on page 36 says: “every 3 years: renew coolant – observe coolant composition” because my good old master is omniscient of the nl in rest, I promptly got two different coolant-friendly nfte get. which one is right? (please don’t answer à la: “let’s do anything, don’t hurt anything” or any gimmicks). thank you for postings by scientists. so long.

40 cm longer incl. “Gänsehaut-Tuning”
The M116s are definitely my hobby horse, since I think these engines, even if short strokers, are useful with some care. So I follow once in a while 420 auctions. These however probably rather not, I was just shortly before “necken” This Fusseltuning also reminded me, of the recently (of pictures and text) completely beautified 420s, whose owner this car, (you had to press an eye to let it pass as such) because he had to go through it at all. It was only good that the completely overrun minimum price of ridiculous 8500,- was not reached. (although “she” on Deubel komm had not offered a buyer, who has been there for many years, offers 4-5 days before the end of an auction thousands of Euro ́s) That could have been bad in the eye, however, it can still be. how-what to see in the eye Well, if you put in a vehicle without airbag, completely meaningless a steering wheel with airbag Here we go now to the lintel tuning variant No.2 of the week here the other, only without airbag

W126 Question about CAT…
Hello together. I’m new on the forum and I already have a first concern. I have a W126 420SE BJ. 87. The seller had given us a KAT. Unfortunately, the number on the cat is not quite readable anymore. Is there a way to find out this? In the old vehicle letter it says: After installation of the following equipment, vehicle is considered as a low pollutant according to Appendix XXIII: 1. Catalysts, No.Kt 0005 U.Kt 0004, 2. Lambda probe, No.OS 0002, 3. Fuel filling tube M.Re It may have a jmd. this plant or can help me a little bit. Thank you very much.
