    Hello friends of the Sl. I’m new here and say first to all HALLO! I think I bought an electronic construction site. Here my 1st problem. The vehicle does not open with the radio key. The driver side shows red at each press. Side and trunk show green. The interior compartments close however always when red lights up, no matter which lock. The vacuum pump was defective, therefore the previous owner always mechanically closed with the key. The pump always starts, no matter what lock I use. Would be happy if one can help me.   • SL 3129 Red – repaint ?

    Hello everyone, I want to take up this topic and read your opinion on it. I have a amber SL 320 BJ 1999 (model year 2000) and I am thinking that I would like to have all the attachments like spoilers and side planks painted in white, or completely in black. (I know that this can be an obstacle when reselling ) The first solution I would think would be an eye catcher and an alternative to a complete painting. The reason is that a lot of people talk to me about this color and no one really sees the great Aurto yet, but only the color and that really upsets me…. So sell or repaint, I currently have it in Autoscout24 and Mobile.de inside, but not one has registered and when giving me a new one, the dealer does not give me much more than 19,000 €. So are the thoughts that concern me more and more … hmmmmmm

  • SLK Facelift 2008: 200 compressor with 184 hp? Possibly with diesel??

    Hi guys, does anyone know more about the facelift of the R171 in spring 2008? Will the 200 compressor then have 184 hp as in the current series? Or is a diesel offered in the SLK?? Hope you can help me, thank you in advance for your contributions!

  • SL as Fun Car

    Hello I’m still a little bit surprised by an SL and I’m getting more and more the question, what do I take or better what do I get. What do I want to do with it: It’s supposed to be a summer car and comes into the garage from November. The car will only be driven inside the city as fun, maybe a vacation (Baltic Sea) mostly fly but. I want to have fun with it and should be considered for the next 10 years as still horny model.What would I get? I would be willing to spend so up to 75k. A 500er will be difficult with a 350er you get there already a lot more equipment etc. Maybe I should wait another year because there is still something going on at the price and thus take a 500er or?General question times to the image I asked some of my customers times how it would be with a 500er SL. The answers were very different from, but I didn’t have a lot of years to drive the same big Porsche in the Grarage now, but I didn’t really have to be interested in what you did with a 500er SL.

I will bring in the next few weeks a new C 5 diesel from Metz to Marbella, this is 2,100 kilometers. The owner leads with a second car ( small Renault with ). Both cars stay in Spain. I am of the opinion that consumption rather something with the weight of the foot and the temperament of the driver has to do with the Gruesses, as well as the crowd of the moon.

  • Rear disc shows absolutely no function anymore

And before that worked perfectly. The engine can’t be over or? Can there be a plug off? Have the disguise taken off there once, but apart from a little “other” aggregate I couldn’t find it all hidden under metal. Does someone have a thought-out for me?   • Navigation does not bypass long traffic jams despite TMC Pro and display of traffic jams in the display

    Hello, yesterday I was on the highway. The navigation (current comand with TMC Pro) showed a traffic jam on the way back in the display about 20 km long (red car symbols on the right side of the route). The reason was a construction site (which I already saw on the way up). Nevertheless, it piloted me directly into the beginning of the traffic jam. At that time I just drove a intermediate piece on a federal road and then didn’t do so. Navigation on the highway (where the traffic jam was already back to the driveway), but drove the almost parallel and completely free federal road for approx. 25-30 km further and chose in the comand the menu item “Stau ahead” and then after the indicated end of the traffic jam (construction site) to switch back to the then completely free highway there. Since the reason for the traffic jam, as said, was a construction site, it can hardly be that the traffic jam was present 20 km before the construction site and then did not continue to the construction site. What I ask myself: Why did the comand directly put me into the traffic jam?”

    How do you think about it? I’m going to have to go back to the car. I’m going up a road with the SL. On the right a high curb, cars parked on the left. I’m almost at the end of the long row of parked cars, there’s now the mom next to the second parking car seen from her side (while behind me about 30-40 cars are lying) and just stand there. I’m going to show her with the hand that the road width between her VW bus and the high curb is not enough to drive by. What does she do?   • ZV Problem and trunk lock

    I’ve been trying for days to find a solution to my problem, but some threads end up only in the Nirvana and don’t get any further. The following: A workmate brought me his SL 500 Bj. 2005 because neither roof nor central locking went. I could do that with the roof by changing the fuse. However, the ZV still doesn’t go. When the remote control is activated you hear a clear cracking out of the trunk. I guess that comes from the ZV pump. The turn signals are turned on and the alarm system also seems to go partially. Partly because when the vehicle is locked with the emergency key and I then close with the remote control, then open again manually with the emergency key, without opening previously with the remote control, the headlights flash, but there is no sound. The thing is now complicated because my colleague has previously made the roof, but not already brought the trunk separation into the correct position. Now also the roof is not open and we do not have to turn under the battery. But the handle is still there.
