Hello together, would be great if you have suggestions, ideas and above all answers to my questions.Vehicle: R129.060 1990er 300 SL without BOSE, without sound system, but with Becker Traffic ProProject: Making and retrofitting the OEM BOSE wire harness from the model maintenance with improvements Can someone please confirm these line colors? Especially those marked with “?”.Radio to amplifier: right front (+): yellow right front (-): yellow/brown left front (+): blue left front (-): blue/brownStrengthener to speaker: right front (+): orange (?) right front (-): brown/orange (?) left front (+): green left front (-): brown/green right rear (+): white right rear (-): brown/white left rear (+): pink (?) left rear (-): brown/pink (?) subwoofer (+): gray subwoofer (-) left front (+): brown/grey Does that mean that at the R129 with BOSE all seven speakers with the signals “right front” and “left front” are not used by the radio?

Which cross section do you travel on your 19 inches
Hello together! Since I am currently busy with the topic sls rims on the sl I have an optical problem with the cross-section of the original tires rims: 265 35 19 on 9,5×19 295 30 20 on 11×20 Since I can enter the rims anyway only with a single acceptance, I try also directly for me visually more attractive tires to install. To me the tires combo is to balloon-like! Would like to on the Va. 255 or 265 30 19 And on the ha. 285 or 295 25 20 To my question: Is there anyone who drives on the Va. a 30 cross-section on 19 inches?

280/350 SLC conversion automatic -> switch
Servus, I want to get a C107 soon. It shouldn’t be too expensive, I think of up to 7000 €. I’d like to have one with a manual transmission, but these are quite rare. Is it possible to install the automatic transmission and a manual transmission with a 280SLC or 350SLC with a reasonable effort? If I would do something like this, then I wouldn’t want to cut a sheet metal, say nothing to destroy, so that the conversion could be undone to 100%. If that’s possible, what would you need? Gears and pedals, clear, but what else? Does the rear axle and the cardan shaft fit …? Servus Mario

r 107 – big people
I’ve always been excited about the r 107 and I’m thinking about buying one. I actually looked at one and found out that I’m almost too big (1,95 m) for the car. Now I’d be interested to know if there are other people here in the forum who are similar in size, and maybe have a r 107. How are the experiences? Maybe you can cushion the driver’s seat a little bit?

Where does the hydraulic oil come from with the SL R230 – who can help
Our R230, SL350, built in 2004 loses – as it looks – quite thin fluid hydraulic oil. Mercedes cannot locate where it comes from. The oil is always left after cleaning – so driver side below the front engine block on the underbody protection. Almost directly under the servo pump – As it looks at the pump nothing – is also in the pump area, or at the pump directly nothing to see? Did anyone ever have that – what was it??? Or who can help – am grateful for all the tips…

Mercedes Benz r230 SL 500 brake
Hello everyone! I have the following problem: I drive an MB SL 500 r230 and would like to renew the front brake. After I searched for brakes via the HSN much to pay attention to the fact that the brakes are only suitable for vehicles without a sports package. Since I was not sure if my car has a sports package I tried to find out something about the FIN. I came across the SA code 044 (change brake system AMG). On the internet I found no description or info what exactly that means. Also the local MB branch was no help (absolutely overburdened). Now I am not sure which brakes are the right ones for my vehicle. I hope one of you can help me further Thanks in advance The friendly V8 driver from the neighborhood

Choosing lever blocked in P – it’s probably not the plastic jack and also not the brake switch
Hello dear SL-R230 owner! I come from the S-Class Forum and drive an S500 (W220). Both vehicle types are in common that the middle circuit 1. is not alive forever and 2. is no longer available at MB. My vehicle is currently incapacitated and has a problem with the Shift Lock. Maybe there is also in this forum someone who is deep in the matter and can contribute to the DAS diagnosis something in this S-Class post If someone has recently received the middle circuit at MB I would be grateful for information. Has it ever been possible to activate a used center circuit without having to change the ignition lock and engine control unit for another vehicle? @db-fuchs will you please stop by?

Mercedes SL 500 R 230 tailgate opens heavy
Hello, I’m still relatively new in the SL scene and I have a question. My tailgate opens relatively heavy-handedly. In practice this is how it works: I press the button on the key, the tailgate jumps up slightly. Then I want to open it and notice that it is relatively difficult. With a normal boot cover I would say that the gas dampers are a bit weak on the chest – with the SL this can hardly be a topic. What I still notice is a slight squeaking. Is there perhaps a point that I could lubricate (and with what) to make it a bit more smooth again? When closing it, I also have to throw the lid relatively sweepingly “” – I don’t know whether this is normal? When opening the cover I notice my limitations. Of course, I hear the pump surren… but that should be normal – but I don’t have the reference, as it may be. Many thanks already in advance for your assessments.

Purchase of an R129
Hello, I’m busy buying an R 129 because I used to drive it in my young years. Was then abolished because of family. But I decided to drive this car again. Now I thought to find a car that is short (or medium term) before an H-approval. The many offers on the net confuse me more than they use. As a everyday car I drive an E-car (Skoda Enyaq). Are there any corner points on which one has to pay attention? – how important is a low km-performance ? – what is with US imports ? – is it useful to have an expert report? Thank you for the answers and the help Dieter

passing beam defective r230
hello, I have a little problem with my r230. occasionally, when I turn on the light, I get the error message dimming light to the right. it’s then that only the xenon is on the left. if I turn on and off the light several times, the right xenon starts to light up at some point. this error is also not always, just occasionally. I have already solved all plugs and put them right again, without success. the error remained. unfortunately you can’t tell me whether the xenon burner, or the control unit is defective. however, I have been told that in each case the push bar has to go down to the front to get to the spotlights. I want to know now whether this is right, and if so, how best I go about it, because my plan is to change the means of light from left to right to see if it is on the xenon burner or on the control unit, because I want to change them in every case to be grateful, because I am very much interested in the 900s forum.
