Hi, I have a big problem and would like to avoid driving again to the “friendly”.Situation: My vehicle BJ 2009 is equipped with Command APS NTG 2.5 (SD card slot, citrus yellow Navi DVD ́s) Unfortunately, many roads etc. are not current in the current Navi. That’s why I bought the 2017 version. You can no longer install/update these versions (believing after 2011) without the firmware 09/29 which only MB installed. I had this done. I thought. The software status you can query (lay on, *, 6) is currently 09/29 – as desired. Now I wanted to play the new DVD ́s on it, the command says: No navigation (is also no longer displayed in the command/header AUDIO, VIDEO, TEL, SYSTEM etc.) Can you do something without MB (cost) ??

Hello community, have just bought me a set of winter complete wheels with the indication that the wheels also fit on the R230. Now I have looked at the given test report but – the wheels are not specified for the R230, but should in my view fit in principle as both the size with ET 30 and ET 35 fits. Therefore my question, if anyone can help – is there an ABE/certificate/release or what do I have to do? Data set CLS rims W118 part number A2184010102 on V A/HA size 8.5 J18H2ET34,5 with tyres 255/40R18 99V Winter tyres should be on R230 – SL 500 – BJ 12/2009 Should go, right? Thanks for your input!

Hello, for a few days now my SL R230 (albeit a good 14 years old) is now at my door. I would be interested in how your environment (and how you are in the street traffic with it) perceives such a car? With me up to now were only positive reactions in the circle of friends / neighborhood. In the traffic is made place on the AB quite quickly… How is this with you?

hello! big discussions with me at home triggers the color decision when ordering. I would like to have my clk cabrio in black… everybody advises me against it, because the paint is so sensitive and obviously shows any beauty errors. I also like the jasper blue quite well…less sensitive?????

Sportive suspension tuning? Hups, I have another question: The convertible (W208, new but old model) I picked out by myself has noted under extras: “Sportive suspension tuning”. What about it. Is the hardy or can you take it on longer distances? Should I rather choose another car?

I would like to optimize my 10 month old SL 55 out of fun at Freud’ for moderate money still a bit, e.g. by using Shell V-Power and the necessary lifting of the limit to 95 octan, etc. Of course, I worry a little about letting any amateurs at the engine. Hello. Does anyone here know if or when the CLK 209 gets the facelift from the C class. Does the facelift also include the cockpit (tacho etc.)? And does the CLK also get this nano-lacquer that is on top of the new SLK?

Hello municipality, last year I changed my hydraulic cylinders over the windshield with good hints from you because they were leaking. Since then I have the problem that the red button, with which the cover is opened and closed, lights red with closed cover. When opening and closing it flashes red. I was reading from a friend to the error – and there was in it that the hydraulic oil gets too hot (over 85°C). My acquaintance is a recognized professional, but since When closing, they are also no longer driven up. At other things, the cover works, how ́s it supposed to be. Is there somewhere a sensor in the ass or has something to be re-learned? Emergency like? Thanks already for helpful approaches. I am still on vacation, but as soon as I get back, I want to get there again.

After closing the boot cover, the lock does not attract it. Not necessarily a problem, but the Vario roof cannot be moved. The message is that the boot should be closed. I closed the lock manually in the first stage when the flap is open. Now, I think, the second stage (pulling the lid) would have to come. But nothing happens. If I now press the open handle from the outside, the lever moves (see e picture, yellow arrow), and the part, (red arrow) moves briefly back and forth. And from the direction of the driver’s seat one hears a short noise, probably the pump. The ZV works perfectly. Should be called, pump should be OK. Where could the error lie? Maybe someone knows what before I expand the whole lock. Greetings Helge
