Hello dear SL’er, I bought a SL 350 BJ 2009 from first hand 2 years ago and this is outside, both inside top in shot and has with 35,000 only very few kilometers. My problem is that I noticed last year that in the trunk under the plastic tub where the Tirefit is located, water had accumulated and everything was moist. I noticed after a heavy rain that there was always a little water left and right in the trunk. At first I always had it with a Han But when I had looked more closely, the lower tub was soaked and the water was already inside about 2 cm high. I then to my friendly MB dealer and they had the water drains (were completely clogged, strange, because the car was standing most of the time at the previous owner in the garage) cleaned and the seals were completely replaced. Then during this hot summer I had the car removed and as I said it was not much. and the trunk in hot weather often always left open so that it “dries out” properly. Then came the autumn and I noticed again after rain a few drops left and right and it slowly formed mold, which I of course always immediately wiped away. Where does this come from? I also always fit on the trunk lid open that nothing runs in. Can you tell me if it’s difficult for someone to revise the gear shifter from automatic transmission? Can there be any problems that you can’t do after that? Hello colleagues, with my 2004 SL 600 the alarm system spins for about 1 week. Will the car be closed after 5 minutes at the latest the alarm starts. iCarsoft shows as error B1341 “Communication error with component H3 (alarm signal horn)”. Does anyone know what to do? And or an SL specialist in the Cologne area, like up to 300 km radius that can help me further? Oh so, any fun recorder with suggestions like, buy a new diagnostic device please do not report at all. Moin together, father-in-law took advantage of a special pension and bought a SL63 AMG together with his wife and is rather frustrated. The car was bought towards the end of last year, the anticipation was great, the date for the delivery was made and at the handover the car was empty, more precisely the battery. The car was then bridged and started and then the two drove from the yard. After a few meters there are already several warning lights available, ABS except Funkt ion, emergency brake assistant out of function etc. Then the two called the dealer again, who said just continue driving, then the two 2 hours continued driving and then the messages were actually gone someday. But now they have the problem that in the Mercedes ME app every 3-4 days the message comes “battery critical”. So again at Mercedes called, then the battery was checked and found to be ok, car picked up again, still the same Game. Then the car went back to the workshop for diagnosis, then Mercedes has installed a cigarette lighter in the trunk (however they did this, hole drilled etc. but looks quite high-quality from everything). There can now charge the battery via the cigarette lighter. Problem is however still not fixed, every 3 days there is the message in the MBUX and from the 4 day makes the right alarm in the app. Has anyone ever had such a problem? Ic h would type on any control unit that doesn’t shut down or anything else, can’t be normal, right? The car was a demonstration car, had almost 3,000km down, warranty is still available etc.

Hello, my SL has memory on the driver’s side for the seat (1.2..3), which does not work (just move a little bit when I press the button). Likewise, the button to drive forward of the seat next to the headrest does not work at all. Possibly this is both connected. Can someone kindly give me a tip here?

Hello together, with our SL300 of 93 the ASD warning lamp is constantly on. In addition, the battery is empty after about 2 days and it no longer starts. Do you have recommendations to find the error? Can you recommend us a workshop that can fix these errors in the room Niedersachen / Hamburg / Bremen? What has been checked: -Battery has been tested and is ok. Hello who can help me with my 500Sl plugs the devil in I get with the remote control at minus straight the doors do not open !!! (funk remote control does not close up ) I can only open the doors manually then however the alarm long goes off !!! which is not the problem but I can not open the doors with the remote control ,the ignition does not go to car can not start either via keyless go !!! batteries we have also already checked Starter battery I.O,provider battery I.O from the frenbetrieb battery also I don’t know anymore!!!

I want to become a pure summer car and then slowly grow into H status. As an old Audi driver, I’m of course a bit blank with the SL so far, concerning the characteristics/mistakes etc. of the model.
