Hello everyone, I had driven my tank on the highway almost empty yesterday and it only turned on the lamp that I am on reserve…. now according to the computer I could have driven another 60 km. Here the 1st question : How are your experiences here – How far can you trust the display with the calculated km? Well I went on looking for a gas station still about 20 km and there appeared on the display a “new” symbol : “A pump and a Mercedes car”. ( Had I at no I don’t see any of my previous MB) Is it clear to me what this means and that one should now quickly visit a gas station where I was already there anyway, but to my second question : How far does the fuel still reach in the case of d i e s e m ? 5 km 10 km …. Thank you God I was at this time “only” 1 km away from the next gas station and was really happy when I entered there. Thank you for your feedback in advance.

All together a good and successful 2014 with a lot of hours of sunshine! I have a fundamental question about the function of the roll-over iron: The roll-over iron is probably triggered by the shearing position and/or by the crash sensor. I don’t want to simulate the crash now, but the slanting position. The switches on the rear axle are also activated on the lifting platform or when using a jack. Now the real question: Will the roll-over iron be triggered even in the stand/without ignition t or only when the vehicle is in motion? Manual operation works perfectly. Also the lowering when opening/closing the softtop. Does anyone have experience here?

Hello, after selling my SL 500 (very satisfied), I bought an SL 55 AMG (8/2002 78,000 km panorama, keyless, seating climate, multi-conture, RDK, Lingua, Distronic Bose…) and am fascinated by the differences in performance. I didn’t think that there could be any such an increase in strength. Maybe someone from 2002 would have a operating manual in .pdf? Another question I would like to ask: according to data card Leather Exclusive Anthracite 581A – is the leather Nappa – on the presilist ste no number only: leather Exclusive Nappa has taken care of itself – found it on the Re.: extra charge of leather exclusive Nappa 3.000,00 + VAT. Hello, the R129 MOPF with original BOSE sound system has an amplifier in the storage compartment behind the driver’s seat. This BOSE amplifier has 5 channels (VL, VR, HL, HR and Sub). In the R129 this BOSE amplifier uses 2 channels (VL and VR) on other Mercedes models on the input side of the BOSE amplifier uses 4 channels (VL, VR, HR and HL). I love to use speakers from Visaton with an impedance of 4 ohms. But if I’m looking for an amplifier with 5 channels (VL, VR, HL, HR and Sub), then all have 5 channels on the input side. Which amplifier can I use to control 5 channels output with 4 Ohm impedance from 4 channels? Thanks and greeting P.S. A few more photos to my other thread (R129 retrofit BOSE harness) will follow…

Hello, I’m coming with another question: Yesterday’s first night trip. Unfortunately, the turn-off lights (NL) are kind of working at turn-off lights and steering wheel impact) During the day I had seen that the NL didn’t go on when cornering, thought it would be just like that, that only at night and turned-on lighting also the turn-off lights are working. Doesn’t seem like that. Seller insists that it worked. Solution? Can the “turn-around” in Stardiag, change from “Rest of the World” to “US” (because of receipt tone, see other post here) be the cause. How can I actually see how the vehicle was delivered? There are, as I was allowed to learn, equipment codes (e.g. 733 for chestnut wood) My friend somehow didn’t respond to my demand. Did someone read here the opportunity (if I send the WDB via PN) for me? I’m looking forward to your new help position. Maybe someone also has an idea of my other posthi hi hot heating today (I hope to read the steering wheel)

Hello, what would you recommend a 200K or 230K? Would you like to get an R170 Bj 98 with automatic, but can’t decide which engine osing it should be. What about consumption, insurance, reliability and fun factor?? Is the 200K a little too weak and is the sound as sporty as the 230K?? Thank you in advance!!

Hello need help,on my 280sl V6 lights up the engine control lights.Have read out error memory,diagnosis Lambda control.That’s what I renewed all four Lambda probes,control pollution again and engine runs like a bag of nuts,error memory read out again result Lambda probe right before Kat no heating and no regulation the same with the Lambda probe Rechs after Kat!Have now changed the Lambda probes already for the second time with original new parts.The result remains the same control light on Lambda probe right no function. Can one of you tell me where else I could look for the error. with kind regards SL Bongo

Moin guys, after long years of BMW leasen I would rather buy a car this time. As a budget I have set myself about 40k €. But now I’m not sure what the smarter choice is: A 500 MOPF1 like this: Click or such a No MOPF 55er AMG: Click Hold time about 24-36 months, driving power about 5000 – 7000Km p.A. Which one do you think has the lower value loss and is easier to sell again? In recent years I never had to worry about car parked at the dealer, takeover protocol – Thanks and goodbye. In itself I tend to the 55er, then would be just a descent from currently 507 to 500hp. Contra: First series, ABC problems?, Navi rather unusable, resale in 2-3 years? Buys 2014/5 still a 500hp car with high maintenance costs and 20l consumption? Pro MOPF1 500er: Something “fresher” design, matured, COMANDPS, ABC of the second generation, 3 years more, more easily consume less than a BraMG. But if you don’t buy one more of the old AMG.

Satter V8 sound) Condition of the vehicle is well old usual traces of course available what do you mean ? Good price achieved ?

Hello dear forum experts, since I am currently using my beloved Sl 350 from 5/2005 very rarely do I think about selling if it is halfway worthwhile, or to leave it in the garage and hope for more driving opportunity. What do you think would be a realistic price to achieve? I think this is something for lovers and possibly collectors and to those I would even sell it. It is an edition50 (quite noble as I find) in the color Silverarrow with black nappa and largely full equipment. Pure seasonal vehicle with 23000 km mileage and in new condition without any quirks and scratches, inside as well as outside. Thank you for your opinions lg conchecco
