Hello together. Maybe someone here has an idea of the space conditions in the 230,470. I am wearing the idea of converting one to LPG, but I still lack information about potential installation positions for two evaporators and gas filters. I am particularly interested in what is now installed in the original installation position of the heater. What is it like under the fenders or the bumper at the front? Is there still room there? The WIS is not really informative, maybe one of you knows more or has suggestions.

Hello, my workshop thinks my front shock absorbers for my SL 500 (R230) are over. He also thinks that they would cost 800 + VAT per piece, so together 1,600 euros plus VAT. Hello, I’m new here and I’m glad that I found an internet site where there is a lot of discussion. But I also get in touch because I have a problem… and I hope that already CLK drivers can help with experience. For 2 months I have been driving a CLK 200 Elegance Bj. 11/97. The CLK is a really nice car, I’m in love with it. But, he clatters !! With already slight road bumps comes from the front right a real flapper noise, it sounds as if z .B. the shock absorber would be loose and wiggles back and forth and hits. Or, if the sound comes from behind, as if the hat rack is racing…. Of course, this is hard to describe… But the shock absorber is not, both shock absorbers have already been changed. Two different MB contract workshops were baffled. Everyone hears it, but no master of MB knows where to locate the flapping…. Now I have heard of someone who bought a new CLK in 1997 and also a After 3 months he sold the CLK again… (No, I did not buy the car ! hehe) Someone can help me and already has experiences in this direction, I would be really grateful. Is the SL suitable for everyday use or extremely hard designed? 4. Are there any vulnerabilities? there is any possibility of emergency seats, any modification or similar so that the “seats” can be used as emergency seats in the rear?
