I am looking for the part mentioned in the topic. It is the lower part of the plastic cover of the left ignition distributor. This is screwed directly to the cylinder head. Since on our vehicle obviously a rough motorist was too busy, here are almost all the holding aisles. och, also missing the plugged clip that holds the ignition cables. Does someone still have something in stock and would sell it to me? Is not a condition like this at the moment. I hope I have at least success here. In the 124 corner the 119 engine is quite tar.

SL R230 Deck stops
Hello, with my SL350 BJ 2005 the cover opening or closing runs off completely normal, only then the trunk cover stays upright and finally the cover closes/opens after a slight push down. Unfortunately, I replaced the hydraulic pump and the relevant cylinder (very expensive), without success. I’m baffled and unfortunately always find it necessary to help the cover. Maybe someone has already solved this problem and can help me. I greet you.

SL 500 (R231) ABC chassis important? Performance Standard model with ABC vs. special model without?
Hello everybody! I’m just about to purchase a SL 500 (R231). Two cars are in the short choice: 1. SL 500 “Standard” (BJ/MJ 2017, EZ 12/2017, since 9200km run, factory warranty extended to 11-2023, with ABC chassis and otherwise also all Pipapo – besides massage seats and Magic Vision Control) for nominally around 84,000€ (will certainly still be negotiated a bit). 2. SL 500 “Grand Edition” (BJ 2020/ MJ 2021, EZ 09/2020, since 7800km run, factory warranty up to 09-2023, without ABC chassis, but with all the other extras that the list gave off at that time) for nominally around 105,000€ (rather less negotiating scope if I correctly estimate the dealer).Two questions: – Can you dispense with the ABC chassis (perhaps even better due to error?) or is this a must-have with the SL, also with regard to the resale value? – Is the surcharge for the 3 year younger vehicle in the special edition (collector piece?) without ABC gü. the now almost 6 year old standard SL with ABC, also with regard to the resale value? Right side seat adjustment no longer works

Engine runs only on 4 cylinders
Hello, maybe someone can help me. I have been driving a Sl 500 for about 15 years, Bauj. 91. In the meantime the good piece has about 150000 km on the hump, 70000km of it were driven by me. The vehicle has never left me in the desert without exception. Last after about 50 country road kilometers the power was abruptly gone and since then runs only on 4 cylinders connected with strong unburnt petrol odor. Both ignition coils work perfectly, and the distribution caps are it a Also the renewal of the corresponding ignition cables did not work. It does not reach the corresponding cylinders no spark of ignition. Certainly I could bring the vehicle into a Mercedes workshop, only a complete renewal of the ignition system including the zund control unit and wire harness can and I do not want to afford at the present time. Sl 500 r230 abc problems
Hello, I’m looking for your advice again. Had already asked in another thread because of abc problems. Meanwhile, the pump, bull eggs and valve unit have been replaced at the rear and the level sensors. The deeper laying of the previous owner corrects thus again to normal level. The car sinks at the front wheels and the solution would be a valve block (mistake clearly recognized by mb and rude workshop) error code c3115 as far as I know. Now to my question It was initially rinsed and the black oil removed with the egg (several times rinsed until no more abrasion came ) now the oil is green again. The car drives well during the ride no problems. However, I read at hans hehl that once the oil was so black with abrasion that you can never get that again and now ask me if it makes sense to keep the car and still exchange the valve unit and o-rings. Is it assumed that you can’t get it anymore or how would you v Does anyone have experiences? Is this really so that you have to change everything when the oil was so black? Would he like to drive for a long time the car has 100t km and is otherwise always a staple. I only have to remember that there are always problems after the flushing and the exchange of various parts.Last at mb mannheim the abc control unit was changed.
