After I managed to bring my SLK (R170) 200 compressor through the TÜV from 2002 to 2024, I got on the rust-infested wheel runs. I was surprised that solid metal appeared when sanding off instead of more or less large holes. I only looked a lot worse, which is why I had already bought wheel treads for welding in. I don’t need them now. Before I then split the sanded parts and then to the paintrs. to give my trust Uwe + Matthias, I would like to know if anyone can give a special recommendation for a rust protection primer. I would use Fertan rust primer. The paintrs say it doesn’t matter what you take, the rust comes again and again anyway… Or is there a remedy…?

Hello Forum I have a R 171 from 2005, 200 K. When I purchased the three years ago, the heating of the seat driver side was defective. It’s not tragic. I like the heating in the backrest. This morning I switched on the heating, as usual three LEDs light up, after some time this automatically regulates. In this case the LED went out after 3 seconds. New attempt: 3 seconds: off. Stay out: after 3 seconds. Where is the error ?

Hello in the round, My r172 would have to be based on the 204 it platform which I could drive with 220 CDI on average on 5 liters. I now have the first 250 km behind us and watch the speed, which always moves nicely close to the 1000 rpm. The car has just over 6000 km and the average is shown to me with over 6 liters of diesel. The transmission is learningable and the engine was driven last year only 6000 km. Is there anything else?

Is unfortunately EZ:07/2000 and has 92,200km on it, price about 13.000€. But I’m a bit skeptical about the mileage/km performance; whereby you can expect a high life expectancy with MB vehicles (at least that’s how I heard it). Now my questions: 1. Is the price ok? 2. Hello, I’ve been driving a Mercedes SLK for quite some time now, because Mercedes doesn’t seem to get the serial error with the tightness in the trunk area I’m looking for help in this way. Hello guys, I’ve added the R170 in blue and an interior version of Scharz-Sand. Now I noticed a few places where scratches are on the sand-coloured surfaces and the black primer shines through … My question now to you where I get a suitable color replacement. Something like a paint pencil would be awesome but I don’t think there is one for it or? At least a spray can? Would be grateful for any idea. THX @ all
