Hello first of all, I am looking forward to becoming active here as well, because at least I am just as new here in the forum as my new SLC at my door. And even if after the well thought-out change from my beloved 2004 SLK on the whole I am really very satisfied. Can and want to be with my new SLC with what in my eyes could even be called a technical backward step – not so easy to accept. And this is about the (NOT) touch for me. This is why I would like to ask the question: Am I really the only one who would like to build a contemporary: multimedia TOUCHBARES (Wireless) CarPlay Radio in his SLC ?!? If there should be the one or the other who has already successfully accepted this conversion project, then I have the great request and hope that e P.S. The photos show my beloved (at that time unfortunately still cabled for this but TOUCHBAREN) CarPlay retrofitting in my former 2004 SLK with the Alpine ILX-700. Hello dear Mercedes friends ,need help again! Can you change a spark plug plug with the SLK 200 R170 without a compressor? Today when changing candles the first candle plug when you stand in front of the engine is canceled!? Now I don’t know if I only need the plug or the cable which goes to the ignition coil? If only the plug can be changed this is hard to connect the cable to the plug? The car runs (only 3 candles changed) because I have the candle plug he who broke out was not able to pull out (wanted) because I was afraid the cable was tearing off and then he doesn’t run anymore !? Hello, Actually we wanted to get black rims on our black SLK on it.. but somehow it loses itself black in black.. On a white car black rims look brilliant.. and if I now take on a black SLK white rims this would have to look great too or? Did someone ever see that or did someone ever see a picture of how that would look on a R171 SLK? Otherwise the leather equipment is red and you could also take red rims that must would not have everyone and be a looker 😉 What do you think? Many greetings Mad EDIT: There are still rims that are black and still have some silver in the rims that actually don’t look bad but unfortunately it never looks as good as real in the pictures… I don’t like the comparison Maybe black or grey rims with red rim would be the most ideal.. ah I don’t know

Hello together. I’m so excited that I have to report about it. I did a test drive with a 200 compressor automatic BJ 2006. I doubted the car fits me, I’m just 1,92. And as it fits, I’ve never driven “open” before. But even so successfully you don’t notice that man is actually sitting in the cabrio. I’m ready to spend about 22-23000€. I’ve set myself on the Sport Edition. I think September 07 was put on. I had to take the biggest hurdle …………….. yes yes, my wife. She got in very carefully a few kilometers away, is already great. I then told about the sport edition which probably fits into our price frame next year. Is approved. What do you think it comes to with Sport Edition so around the 23000€ . Greetings from NRW

Hello, we certainly all know,, how do I get the stupid white tracks away at the door at all places that are actually black? Normal fabric fools you can forget…at first hang around afterwards! My tip and also found and tried…Funtioniert super: von Sonax there are the damp cloths (I take the one with the yellow cover ) contains 60 pieces and with dens go these tracks great away and also everything else you want to clean in the interior so….! with 3-5 cloths you can bring the fast car clean and flashes (about 15 -20 min ) also goes great for the leather seats. Price is 6-9 euro for a can! The normal artificial parts like the area around the radio recommend to rub it easily with a dry towel!! I can only recommend this (for people who have not found anything yet)..is sure also other possibilities!! gruss Eric

But now I see that there are different exhaust systems… times with oval, times with angular tailpipes. What is the difference here? And: brings only d he 350er the sound with this exhaust system, or also about a 300 or 320er? Would I be very pleased about feedback, I am still very impressed with the car… (:

Hello SLK driver Switch from my TT to a new 200K. The trunk is quite small compared to the TT. There are suitcase sets, but I would like to know how big a single suitcase can be, that it fits in well with the closed roof. Will pick up the SLK from factory and combine this with a few days’ holiday, so the suitcase should fit in. Thank you for your answers.

I think to know that there are already small differences in petrol between so many gas stations.. but could for example an unknown gas stations cheap/discount petrol stations harm a car?
