Hi! I’m looking for a second car for the summer, I have about 600€ budget and I’m over the SLK, which I think is very cool! Since I don’t know my question, what to look for, and if the car is even suitable for my project. I know that rust and the roof is a topic for the car, and that the steering chain can also be a topic for the models in front of the MOPS, but it’s not really tangible for me. n, what I have to pay attention to. Hello dear community, a year ago I enjoyed the beautiful SLK – used BJ 01/11, bought directly from MB in Böblingen. Recently I noticed on the roof (only on the driver side) that the joint rubber pulls together and small paint gaps are visible. That shouldn’t happen with a 5 year old car…? During the inspection at a MB workshop I was told that they offer me the complete outer roof exchange and the costs I would have to z u 50 % (approx. 1000 €) I am not pleased about this, because I also have the “young star guarantee” for 1 year, whereby I paid attention to the purchase, because a guarantee with a used one was important to me. Well that! “the best – nothing else”. Great saying, but how does it look in reality. Can anyone give me here tips on what this is and how I can proceed here?! As a woman I feel a little helpless and have no idea how I am doing this. should proceed. Would I be happy about expert support!!!!! Best regards Heike

Hello guys, wanted to know are the maintenance costs of the GT 43 (4MATIC+) similar to that of a C43/E43/CLA45 or the name 43 deceptive? If one observes the purchase price GT is also much more expensive than the other 43/45-er. Is it also more expensive in the maintenance in terms of insurance, inspections/maintenance, wear parts (brakes/tires). I know that the consumption is similar. Especially experience values of owners are desired. Currently I own an E class Coupe 500 MoPf (M odell C207) and in a couple of years I plan to buy me such a car if the price is still a bit lower and in the area where the value loss after resale is no longer as enormous as at present. Hello together, I have had a problem for about 2 weeks, and this is the light bulbs burn through, or fall out. First it was the rather dipped light, (simple bulb replaced finished) then the link dipped light (simple bulb replaced finished) now is the stand light left to (at the bulb it is not the one I have already replaced) Then since the day before the right tail light (I have LED tail lights) and earlier still the fog lights left front failed… Can’t be that all this happens within 14 days, can it? What can it be? Thanks for the help

Hello and good evening, I wanted to contact you for a short time because of a problem at my SLK R 170. I’ve been having problems with high acceleration for some time, at “KICK – DOWN” the automatic does not switch further into the next gear. Only when I have the gas back nehem the automatic slips quite sluggishly into the next gear. This has already happened to me already more open during a overtaking process, because I didn’t look so good. In spite of all these repairs, the Poblem appeared again! SLK 230 KOMRESSOR, Built: 98, KM: 112.000, all customer service and service were done. What could it be about? Has one of you already had this problem, or is it known to one of you? But please no cockpit spray, that is only spooky 😉 – With open roof the artificial parts behind the roll irons: are h old unfortunately already rather grey, thanks to UV 🙁 What can you do? Hello together, am just looking for a 280 / 350 SLK Built 2004 to 2007, as I will sell my TT Roadster next week. By chance in the forum someone will offer his for sale. Please PN to me. I found a SLK 350 that would suit me, with comand, leather black, warranty and the equipment also fits, but that’s a switch. Normal I’m an automatic fan, whereby the switch certainly has its charms, but can you sell a 350 switch at all? One more question at the end: If the normal 200er compressor with 163 hp is too weak or the driving performance is still acceptable. Purely from the paper it does not sound so bad: 0-100 7.8 and 230 km/h top speed. I drive 95% on a busy road, because the performance is not quite so important. Thanks for the help
