Was yesterday at MB, who thought wheel sensor at the front right shows no values. Suggestion to change it. Sounds plausible… My questions to you are now; Is that “normal” that such a sensor fails? Hello together, I drive a Slk r171 200 compressor problem During the ride all the indicator lights went on and in the display appeared a red battery the engine did not go out you felt a slight jerk and the lights went out again. If you have a SLK R171 with leather seats, you should always complain about the Y-Nacht with Mercedes. If the vehicle still has a warranty, the seat covers will be replaced free of charge. I have now returned my second R171 SLK 200K, year 09/08, because the leather problem cannot be solved. The car has not even run 15TKM. Mercedes is known for the problem, but does not want the leather covers to be sewn. Mercedes has tried the following unsuccessfully so far: the filling material under the Y-seat was cut out so that the seat can lower. But in my opinion the leather got worse, because with the modified seat covers, the leather lasted 2 months. Zuletz has dyed the leather through Mercedes. Now it still peels off, but is not quite as bright anymore. Who wants to drive his R171 longer should keep an eye on the leather seats in the area of the Y-seat on the seat and the back cover.
