Servus, with my SLK r170 230K (Bj. 08.2000) the brake lights no longer go out. After a longer drive from Austria (11 st.) much to me the whole brake lights shine. Of course I looked at the fuse and saw that the slot of the fuse for the brake light has burned through. have replaced the light module / safety box afterwards, unfortunately without success. I then changed the brake light switch, unfortunately still nothing. klichter completely dismantled and contacts I also checked, everything looks good. I also checked the cables at the kinks of the trunk, looked good as far as possible. unfortunately I am not an electrician, but I can already read a little electrical for schematics it is not enough. now I wanted to ask if someone had the problem or has solutions suggestions. owns also a read out, could also send in the errors he gives out (really a lot to say but unfortunately not) I am very open about solution suggestions and tips I thank you in advance!

Hello, stand (after a long search) close to buying a SLK 55 AMG. Vehicle is year 11/2006..3. Hand…142,000 km mileage…and is completely checkbook maintained. Price is at VB 21.500 €….. Seller said he had the brakes (combined brake discs incl. pads) changed at KM 85,000, but those still in a very good condition due to his “decent” driving (vehicle was allegedly driven the last 10,000 km with a cut-through consumption of 10.7 l) are….so as to wear. Now my question in the round….can you say about what service life such a braking system has? Of course I know that it depends on the respective driving style and which routes you drive mainly (road, highway ect.) ,but there should still be about a value,or? Somewhere I’ve read that it would be about 80,000 km,unfortunately I don’t find this report any more. In addition, a transmission flush has never been advanced in the vehicle before. ommen….would it make sense to make up for this after purchase? Hope that I may get some answers to my questions. Dear Forengemeinde, I would like to introduce myself in advance. I used to drive Audi until 3 years ago, most recently Audi TTS. Then the AMG C63 came as a coupe. I have to say, so far the best car I have ever been allowed to drive. Emotionally a madness. After C63 came the GLC 63 AMG Coupe. I have to say that I was really disappointed after C63. Soundwise this was clearly emotionless. I don’t know if it was on the particle filter or generally on the difference C63 Coupe Now the AMG GT Coupe is coming in January. I have to say that I have not been so excited about any car. My question in advance to you, is there any experience with the GT coupes from 2019 regarding sound? And can anyone classify this between C63 and GLC 63 pre-mopf? I’ve been thinking about the color for a long time, but I think it’s really nice in silver with the black accents. Thank you!

Hey! Is the clacking normal? With gas recording it disappears and only appears in idle mode. (no matter if the engine is warm or not the noise does not change) I have seen several YouTube videos and some have not. Some say it is normal again.. I can’t really believe that.. Be sure to change to 5w-40 soon.. maybe it will help. Listen to the video and add your mustard! Important basic data: SLK 350 R171 Built. 2004

Hello ! Actually come from the BMW warehouse, so I am an absolute Mercedes newcomer, and need some information about buying a SLK for a friend. This morning we had a SLK 200 K to test together. The test drive was very pleasant, even the “small” engine seems to offer quite enough power, quite powerful. But now we or they have the spoilt of choice between buying a new SLK 200 K and a SLK 280 leader with 4000 km of running power. Price for both e would be identical and is at 44k. (list price for the SLK 200 : 44000, SLK 280 : 54000, both of course FL) Actually the decision seems to be clear (SLK 280), but the SLK 280 lacks the sound system as well as the iPod connection. Therefore my question : is the difference to the serial sound system worthwhile or is the normal system enough ? Supposedly, the USB interface can also be retrofitted, but should then cost about 400 euros. Furthermore, my friend is interested in whether the 20 0er is more recommended with automatic or with gear shift. Look forward to any helpful answer.

Hello Forum, I would like to change radio in my Mercedes SLK 230 Compressor 2001 The radio.http://www.mediamarkt.de/…/…-CDE136BT,48353,460793,297549.html?… Will this improve the quality, I find the standard speakers are very modest. That’s why I would like to have better sound. Would the above linked radio fit or not? And if I installed the radio I would have to change something?

Hello, I’m just coming back from a ride and suddenly the MKL is yellow. Otherwise everything is fine, good gas acceptance and performance, no noises. Then I open the bonnet and see some oil on the underrun protection below – see photo. Engine oil level normal. Maybe to the vehicle: SLK 200K (R170), switch, BJ. 04/2003, 187,000 km, always everything waited. Now my short questions: 1. How do you read out the error memory (software, cable), there is a WLAN adapter for r iPhone & Co Mercedes for iOS? 2. Where does the oil come from and could it create the error on a sensor or cable? When I close the doors with my SLK 200 Bauj.2002 with the remote control it flashes three times, which is also normal but after that the warning flashing system goes on and no more. I have disassembled the pse. It is neither wet nor oxidized. There everything seems to be fine. Who can help me ?
