Hello in the round, I wanted to look around, how high is the SLK driver here at ‘uch’, who drive the car all year round. Starting position with us is the following: The C of my friend now has 160000 km on the clock and stands so really well there, but can also get away sometime if he wants something nice new. My C now has 100000 on the clock and should probably stay ‘longer’, until next year perhaps. Depending on. Mine is a station wagon, so we would still have a ‘big’ Au To. And we are only two. Actually, a sunny dream of us was to buy a SLK as a third car in the price league around 20-25000, and to use it then classically only with season marks. But now we also liked an almost new SLK which clearly exceeds the budget for a third car and should cost 33800, but the seller at MB offered us the payment of the C of my friend known to them. He then got an update and now everything seems to be fine again. That had nothing to do with humidity and happened purely by chance. Hi, I have the possibility – through a friend – to get a SLK relatively cheap – about 600€. The SLK R171 BJ 2004 has approx. 110.000km, automatic, was driven only by an older lady, only long distance and is completely checkbook maintained. I have driven it myself already several times and I really like it very much. Only the sports seats, at least on the driver’s side, I find something uncomfortable (but good hold!). Otherwise it is really super fun in the curves, performance fin I don’t really notice anything noticeable when driving, but I don’t know how to do it so well either. Everything is a little bit tricky, but no more than other convertibles and fully within the frame. However, I noticed that the window lifter works on the driver’s side without any problems, but when driving up, the door shakes something. What could that be? My question is now before I buy it, what I should pay attention to. Is there anything that I need to do? How durable are such cars? 110,000 seem a lot to me at first, but are not so much for the car, at least according to what I read.

My SLC bought used this year has the command with DAB tuner + Harman Kardon sound system. It is built in 2018. The reception of DAB stations here in Stuttgart is very good, but unfortunately not all. Many stations are missing mainly those of the antenna DE like Beats, 80s80s,90s90s etc, i.e. those of the second federal mux. Have had the car with Mercedes, they found nothing, cause would be: my command would have only DAB and no DAB+. I can’t believe that. In the price list 2018 from Mercedes the Comand was offered with DAB+. Who has an original Comand DAB until BJ 2018 and receives all channels? or has the same problem? To find the cause, I need information, someone has a Comand until BJ 2018 and receives all channels, such as Beats, 80s80s,90s90s etc.? Does the Comand with DAB have a separate radio tuner? or is everything installed in the Comand? Hello everybody, it’s been a while since I was active here in the FOrum and now I also have a new vehicle My SLK 350 was now just to the TÜV and I need a new end pot at the rear left (TN: A1724911701). Unfortunately the original part is not available at Mercedes and has to be “produced” for me. Availability date before March 2025. But until March without TÜV??? Therefore the question to you experts: Where can I get my wanted spare part? Bay and small bay offer only parts for the SLK 200 – they probably don’t fit (??) as other part number. Other suppliers are from Ukraine and Russia or Sweden – I’m honestly not sure if the parts would ever arrive… I hope someone has a great source here and can help. Hello, with our Mercedes SLK 200 compressor (R171) the following error picture is present: At cold temperatures (<5 degrees) it either doesn't start at all or very bad. When it starts, the engine only stays running if you increase the stationary gas. On one of the last cold days, the vehicle did not even start despite (30?) start attempts. If you turn the key around, the starter runs and the engine starts up very bumpy, goes out after a few turns or l At higher temperatures - or when the engine is warm - it runs completely smoothly. The error memory was read out several times at Mercedes - every time no error was made! Since the vehicle has jumped in normal again in the past days due to the warmer temperatures, the described error could not be reproduced at the customer service - but the basically bad start behavior was noticed. All relevant who The spark of ignition is also available. After several mechanics have looked over it, one was stunned. Mercedes proposed the replacement of the crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensors - since the part costs alone are around 600 euros, we are now considering what we are doing. The new sensors were installed in test mode. However, as the error as described above, due to the warmer temperatures was not reproducible, no difference could be detected. Did any of you happen to have a similar error picture or entry in the FS? Would you let the sensors "on good luck" change and watch what happens?

Hello dear ones, I have a very difficult decision to make: I’m currently driving an Astra G convertible, but it has several problems, which is why I’m going to buy a new car. My candidates are 1. the Peugeot 207cc and 2. the Mercedes Benz SLK 200 R170 (without compressor). I found good listings of both of them. Now the question is for me which car is better? Advantages of the 207: 4-seater (Plus/Minus ), lower consumption, smaller, younger,…? Vortei the SLK: the look, the reliable engine, around 400€ less insurance costs, the 5-speed circuit,…? The SLK does not have a compressor as I said, which is probably the best way to drive the circuit, because I don’t care about speed. To me: I am almost 19 years young, almost still driving beginners and student. The four seats in the Astra are claimed as well as ne, which is why the two-seater fits. But maybe it’s better, the possibility of a four-seater. What are, apart from my listed criteria, other characteristics that make one or the other model stand out?
