Hello again, I was unfortunately quite unsuccessful in my internet search. With me since yesterday evening the stand light does not go out when I put the light switch on “0”. I.e. stand light at the front; rear; license plate lighting; valve lighting lights and the car beeps when I open the door. Did then the battery clamped down accordingly, to deal with me more closely today. My first guess was a safety problem, but all fuses look so clean, so I removed the complete light switch. Then everything went out and also the beeping stopped. Does that mean for me that the light switch is actually defective, or can still provide something else for the problem? Can someone tell me which plug on the light switch is responsible for what? The second from right to picture 1 is in any case responsible for the warning tone and the valve lighting. PS: Another observation: When I have connected the battery again today at noon the stand light did not work directly again. Only when I activated the light switch, however, it did not go ahead of time.

Fan connection Interior connections? (SLK R170)
Hello guys, can someone tell me how the fan connections of the interior fan are switched under the glove compartment? The Puster regularly fails and jumps arbitrarily again. A system behind it is not recognizable. We could not provoke any wobble contacts. We removed the engine yesterday and cleaned everything. Defects are not visible. Collector and coals look good. Bearings run easily. To circle the sporadic error, I want to measure or connect a test lamp to the supply line before we expand the whole switch element. Can the controller be also? The fan box has 3 connections, which go inside on the controller. And the other side probably to the blower step switch Only what is what and how occupied? Plus, mass and control line? A circuit diagram of the overall circuit with the ventilation step switch would be great.

SLK R170 200er electric almost 100% without function
hallöchen, my slk was now unfortunately a week in the sun around. today was time again. start attempt worked only after the 4th time. wanted to fill up the climate. after a certain time in the workshop the air conditioner was free. unfortunately then I could not start. the error reading resulted in mass errors. moreover after a few minutes ‘ignition’ of the cooler or climate fan. the ki worked completely. nevertheless with a certain hope the k40 was expanded and tested. “unfortunately” totally in order. now I am with my ideas at the end. has someone still nen tip? gruss paul

Interior lighting is no longer running out! Help!!!
Hello, I would like to introduce myself first, I learned so… My name is Markus and I have been in possession of a ‘98 230 compressor since September 2022 which gives me much pleasure! BUT! For some time now (without anything special happening, my interior lighting no longer goes out, no matter in which switch position (yes, even in off position! I have already tried another lighting unit, the same problem… what could this be? I don’t know where to look, is my first Mercedes, and actually I love it now… I hope someone can help me!?????

SLK 32 AMG
Hello together, think with just from my SLK 230 to the SLK 32. If someone has experience with the change or on what you have to pay special attention to with the SLK 32 AMG, or how are your experiences with the vehicle. Ride the SLK only as a fun car and that for years. As an alternative to the SLK 32, cer SLC 43 AMG would be an option, am only not sure if there is a lot of driving fun on the track through the whole assistance systems etc. I’m curious how the topic is generally considered.

AMG GT 4 door Coupe Facelift

Picture see appendix. I would like to see your opinion about it. I personally find this new front to run away. I ordered one already last year on delivery June 2024. So early order because my fleet discount was deleted at the end of last year. Does one of you know when the facelift might come.? I would definitely try to get a pre-mopf. Otherwise I have to convert to the old front apron for me is the new one design accident. Furthermore, I would like to know your opinion about the new AMG badge on the bumper. SLK R171 vs BMW Z4
Hello Together, I’m very attracted to having a convertible as a second car for the summer. My budget is up to max. 12.00€. The most interesting candidates so far are the SLK R171 (find it more beautiful than the R170 and technically more mature) or the BMW Z4, possibly even the Mazda MX5. I like the 6 cylinders – if already Cabrio please with appropriate sound. I know, I am in the MB/SLK forum, but would still be pleased about your opinions and experiences. Although I’m more interested in the technical aspects, design has every preference: How durable is the car, how vulnerable is the car for workshop visits, costs of spare parts, value of the interior etc. Corrects me if I’m mistaken, but the 2/3 roadsters are actually quite unconvinced if you take my budget into account and since second car is enough a two-seater. Or about the advantage of a CLK Cabrio or BMW E46 Cabrio when I play with it, but the 2/3 roadsters are actually quite unrivalled if you take my budget into consideration, and there second car is enough for me to talk about the driver.

SLK 200 K Built 2000 Vario roof without function, control board burned, search detailed circuit diagram
Hello colleagues, It’s probably a bigger evil, recently when it got decently warm I couldn’t open the roof any more. Then found out that the fuse 7 was defective, after exchanges it went through again, then I had a buddy who works at MB read the thing out, that probably didn’t work because on the control board conductor tracks for the pins 58 and 75 had burned down. The buddy meant the exchange of the control board was not risked, because the So it was, I ordered with my son a used control board from the internet, built in the same result. By now, I have recognized a Tw. short circuit for the pin 58, but I continue to tap without detail circuit diagrams in the dark. 1.) Has someone made similar experience, 2.) a new one introduces itself SLK 250
Hello together, I bought the second car for my wife yesterday, a 2012-er SLK250 with a great equipment, we once had 4 SLK, two 170 and two 171 and I have to say the R172 has made itself, the SLK has grown up, the interior is very modern and successful, through the panoramic roof it brings a lot of light into the interior and is not so oppressive anymore, so absolutely top !!! We had between now several BMW convertible and also the E-Class as W207 but the SLK is absolutely enough for us to have fun and driving pleasure, of course when I first drive with my Q and then change into the SLK it is already a change of habitation but that fits. R172 jerks when stopping “e.g. at a traffic light”
I own a R172 200 compressor, automatic, 46,000 KM, BJ 2012. As I was slowly approaching a traffic light today, the car started to jerk about 1-2 seconds before stopping before it was standing at running engine. (no start/stop used) Nothing happened when starting – it started normally. Automatic is usually normal when switching. No jerking or hard shifting curtains. That happened to me a few times today. However, not every stop. H at someone’s experience with it or the same problem found with his SLK? Besides, I also noticed today that the car (he apparently has a sound generator as standard) generates “misfires” between 20 and 50 kilometers per hour in the sport course. Can he even “create false ignitions, such as the Audi Quattro TT” or is the generator only responsible for the dull engine sound? These “misfires” have never occurred to me to city traffic before.
