Hello Motor-Talker I bought a SLK 350 in February. First registration in June 2010, was a demonstrator in Düsseldorf with 5,800 KM. I noticed already at the first washing that on the doors and on the fenders behind the paint is slightly damaged. Meanwhile, the paint bursts up ever further (see pictures in the appendix). Before I drive to Mercedes I wanted to ask first here whether someone else has already done this or knows this problem?! Clamping the door is very unlikely, if then it would be clamped deeper. And then also on both sides…?! Perhaps doors and fenders have touched each other?! But why then only at the very top?! The gap measurement is the same everywhere at the door to the fender. Hello people! At my SLK350 (2005) the yellow engine diagnostic lamp appeared. I am immediately to read out the error memory in the workshop: 1208 Synchronization Inlet camshaft (Bank 1) to crankshaft signal unplausible 1200 Synchronization Outlet camshaft (Bank 1) to crankshaft signal unplausible 0064 Camshaft adjustment (Bak 2), outlet signal unplausible Number of errors 3 The master has deleted the Fehelr and said, if it does not reappear, is everything is OK. (On that day was -10°C) (When you start the engine four times, it goes away again.) Two weeks later, however, it lit up again. (Sometimes after a longer distance) Does anyone have experience with it? Does it make sense to investigate here more closely? Is there possibly a signaling device to exchange? What can be broken? Thank you for your help!

Hello @ ALL 🙂 first of all a greeting from me 🙂 It would be nice of you if you could help me with a small problem. First of all I need the exact location of the ODBII socket at my R171 Bj 07/2009 , best with picture 🙂 Maybe I’m too blind for it, but down in the footroom is nothing, also no lid to take off where the under lying, or I’m bllind :-))))) Furthermore, I have been doing customer service for over 30 years with my vehicles themselves and this I have to go to the factory town because of the equipment that I just don’t have. The Mercedes I am now, were also not filled with so much technology as the SLK with almost full equipment. That’s why I’m also looking for a device with which I can reset all service incidents and read out and delete errors, it doesn’t have to be able to do anything. Do you have any good advice?? I don’t want to be able to change tor control (tuning) still something on the gearbox or ?? just reset the service. Please no advice, go to MB and let it do it there, worse a customer service I can also not do like MB 🙂 what is not called that MB makes this bad lol 😉 Thank you for your help already in advance. Hello together. Have a question to you someone from you has ever installed on the 350er the exhaust system of the 55????? Could a cheap buy, just with the disassembly there is a problem. Have already called the company Chromtec if they would install the thing to me and what they demand for it, then came the statements “No” only if you order the plant in the house new, the yes rich 1900 euro ca cost. Hello everyone I bought this year month January a SLK 350 W171 year 08 AMG styling package. Couple weeks later I got rims on it with springs from MAE. The problem now is I bought an E Coupe now BJ 2010 and MB replaced my SLK. Now they called me today and said that the ABE for the springs are missing and I don’t have them anymore!And the tuning type says no idea long ago don’t know where the papers are:-( Where do I get snow now ll as possible the ABE for the springs?Otherwise MB has to remodel everything and I may pay:-( Unfortunately only the data of rims tire size etc more not:-( Mercedes SLK 171 with AD1 20 inch MH exclusiv AD1 in 8.5 x 20 inch 15 mm distance disc on HA 235/20/20 on VA and HA MHE lowering Request for help:-( Many thanks in advance

Especially now in the cold season it would not be bad for a “luxury vehicle” name SLK, if there was also a seat heating module in addition to a roof module, which at the push of a button would warm the ice-salots leather seats already 5 minutes before the start of the journey. Sure, this can be done with a satellite heating, but a stand heating has probably the least vehrfbaut. izte Garage has, for him this is also not a topic, but maybe he also parks his car in winter occasionally for a few hours outdoors (e.g. cinema, opera, casino,….) at -20 degrees. Hello I have the following problem since today I wanted to open the SLK but it does not happen if I want to open it with the FB the led flashes on the FB, so the battery is not, I then mechanically opened the car and my neighbors were woken up by the alarm system. In the car I wanted to finally start my drive but could not go because the key can logically plug in but can not be turned. what is the problem ? what can you do there ? many thanks
