Hello SLK-ler, we might want to separate ourselves from our A-Class and saddle on a SLK, R170. As I have already read, a mopf from BJ in the beginning of 2000 is definitely recommended. What one recognizes, I have already read to myself…. Since now my wife is on the road from time to time also with daughter (6J.), the question arises, whether one can also move on the passenger seat a commercial child seat? Where can the typical weak spots be found? Does the R170 also have rust on the T Which engine is installed with the 200, 230? M111 or M271? Hello together, first of all to me. So far I come from the Ford group. Have some models through. Fiesta, Puma and currently a focus step tail. But look now already long after a DB. have recently discovered the following SLK while browsing in the autoscout. now it seems to be a fact, AMG is expanding the segment, there are to be AMG vehicles and an AMG Sport Line–which among the AMG vehicles and their drive must be satisfied with a 367ps six-cylinder. So nothing else than BMW with the M-fraction has made the beginning of C450 and GLE450 in 2015 so it fits as suspected and under held hand already already pronounced, no facelift for the SLK but then a new SLK with smaller turbo and no more 8 cylinders, this e will probably be reserved for the SL and GT etc., because the GT engine should become standard. Hello. I have a problem with my SLK 230 which I have been driving without problems for a good two years. Yesterday I drove 2 hours of motorway with it. Yesterday evening I wanted to leave but it did not work. No power supply. No lamp went on, nothing. Now I just tried to get the car to run with a starting aid device. Central locking, ventilation, lamps etc. worked. When I turn the zund key, the warning light goes on and it beeps briefly. Try ic h to start now, then something turns in the front of the engine and there is also a clapping. However, no normal starter noise. Can someone help me with the symptoms before I have to call the ADAC? – because I am not a member. I soldered the K40 module about 1 1/2 years ago in two places, because the compressor did not go along with it. Until now everything always worked reliably and well. Greeting from Hamburg.

Hello dear motor talker , I got the task of selling a SLK because of a grieving case . What I have seen and read : EZ 09/1999 – – – – Type 170 – – – – KW 142 – – – 230 Compressor – – – – – – Gasoline – – – – Automatic – – – – – KM Stand 103.500 – – – 3. Owner – – – – TÜV 05/2016 , condition engine / technology I do not know , but the car was always reliable in use , condition of outside and inside unclean but OK , for nice it would have to be professionally prepared , except front thrust bar below the “lip” in the middle torn trunk flap does not remain open Door door inside passenger side loosely in the last Tüv report “Brakes 2nd axle at the wear limit” when starting comes a signal “Inspection – 560KM”. At Mobile.de the cars with the age and KM stand for 2000 – 5000 Euro are offered , please help me please and appreciate what one could raise for a selling price for this car . Thanks Michael

the best or nothing… every day this advertising flicker over the screens..for that one sees a car with star…. and then Daimler has the impudence and offers a Parktronic at the GT…. nicely thinks the reader of a price list…only there what is missing, the active parking guide….well error in the price list then the little man thinks the demand at Daimler-AMG…and see there…NO..no parking guide available…but ha ha one has apparently still a large box with the old Parktronic found… its contents must also be installed… because the Swabians throw away nothing….

Hello, after having been reading the forum for a few weeks, I have now signed up. I would be interested to know if you are refueling your SLK with Super E10. So far I had not really thought about it and had already filled in E10 once. But after the report from BMW came today that if it is possible a higher engine wear is possible, I come already so slowly in the pondering.
