Hi people, I am now just under 600 km above the last service. So it’s about time …. My SLK (first registration 2000) has been maintained consistently at Benz. Since Benz has always promised me a guarantee (including grating), but this guarantee has never been redeemed, I wonder if it still makes sense for my old car to have the service continued at Benz. Since I am a member of ADAC, I don’t really need the Mobilo guarantee (or as it is called …). Ben z now wants just under half for the large range of services over 600 € and ATU. I have only had good experience with ATU so far. Therefore, I assume that they can manage the Sercive properly. I am now interested in what happens formally with the vehicle when it is no longer brought to service at Benz. The guarantee would lose, would also the value of the vehicle decrease? Hello friends, the next winter is at the door and so slowly I have to think about the “winter shoes” of our SLK ́s. How do you see the thing: Alu ́s with winter tires for tens of thousands or better a small winter car for small money?? Had so far only front-wheelers and with them it went through the winter great. To all SLK 200 K – W 170 drivers or those who have an opinion about it! I find the car simply beautiful and it is a lot of fun. So my dream car, because as BJ 2001 also affordable for me. Now stands with a dealer near me this car. BJ 3/2001, so Nachmopf, scarz, red/black leather seats, switch, 70,000 km, 15,000 €. I would like to exchange my A-Class ( A 170 Diesel, BJ 8 / 2001, price approx. 6400 € ) against the SLK. But I drive about 30,000km per year. Hello, I’ve been here in the forum for a long time and I think it’s really great. now I have a problem, and I bought a r170. the car runs as far as perfect as if it was standing longer, i.e. a night so that it has completely cooled down, the error occurs that it stutters for a short time while driving. so when switching from the 2nd to the 3rd course, it doesn’t take a bit of gas again… the whole occurs only about 250 meters after the start on afterwards everything is renewed i.o. i ch: spark plugs and the air filter. the throttle flap and also this part which looks like a throttle flap which is screwed on the air filter I cleaned. but were not very dirty. to the vehicle again: mercedes slk, r170, b.j 04.1999, ca-.150tkm, 2,3l compressor with automatic transmission.
