Hello! I read a lot about the W126, (see the rear axlesthread), and I find the W126 from the USA very interesting, and have some questions about it. 1.) The 300 SDL has the same engine as the W124 E 300 turbodiesel, right? 2.) 300 SDL had a soot filter, which exhaust gas standard does it meet in Germany? 2.1) How did it work, and how was it durable? 3. The 350 SD(L) has the same engine as its successor, the W140. However, the W126 was written at least, More torque (320 nm), but less power (136 hp). How can this be explained? 4.) Can one ensure such vehicles here in Germany quite regularly? At the HUK24 in the online form the W126 diesel did not exist. (Because they were never offered here…) Thanks already in advance!

SLK can be opened nciht and not started
Hello I have the following problem since today I wanted to open the SLK but it does not happen if I want to open it with the FB the led flashes on the FB, so the battery is not, I then mechanically opened the car and my neighbors were woken up by the alarm system. In the car I wanted to finally start my drive but could not go because the key can logically plug in but can not be turned. what is the problem ? what can you do there ? many thanks

SLC 200 vs. C200 Convertible
A friend of mine might want to buy a convertible and favor the SLC (quickly used) because he should be quieter inside with the steel roof. I gave him the C200 convertible as an alternative. moin experten! actually I just wanted to read quietly after my first posting “werkstatt fΓΌr w126 im bremer raum gesucht und eine befrage zum geare!” but if you let yourself into the adventure old s-class is probably more often something π how before my dream car! form, style and motor + driving feeling cause me to pinch again and again because all this is so cool! but I still have a few things! first of all the ZV annoys me something.. sor lies in the last breaths and wants to die soon because if I turn around the key it goes ..21 …22 ..plopp then the driver’s door is on however the doors in the back do not always open..or not too … sometimes that’s how I have to do it manually! and it’s like if I want to close it and then open it again 20 sec later (because I forgot something in the car) it doesn’t work ..I have to wait at least 3- 5 min. when turning around the key is like when m hard to describe π when I was at the dealer I once spyed on the other w126… because my front side of the disc is where it goes into the motor a split measure! I thought it was normal but then I saw that it is not like that with the others or it closes there flush buw that is sealed with a rubber! I’d be interested to know how much Km your tanks already have on the clock. My W220 320 Cdi has already dropped 370.000 Km and the w140 350 TD has 220.000 Km I was curious if someone has a w220, which has more Km on the speedometer than I do.
