The cooling water thermostat is defective with my G270CDI. According to Mercedes, this one has the number A 612 200 01 15 and is no longer available.On the internet, I only find the number A 612 200 00 15. Does anyone know if this number fits or where I could get the right thermostat?

I’m doing an extra corrosion protection thread here, in which everyone can contribute their experiences. It’s certainly interesting for readers and for decision-making. Change gas springs boot cover yourself?
Hello, I bought a SLK 200 compressor from Jg. 2004 3 weeks ago. I’m very happy with the car, but the trunk can only be opened with a little power, the gas springs are probably gone. Does any of you have similar experience and can give me tips whether you can (woman!) exchange it yourself or rather let it be done in the workshop? In COE Sindelfingen Pictures
just for the GT friends… was in the COE and could see a little bit of the GT. I think about buying a SLK 350 R171 Sportmotor 305ps for the next few years. My questions: As I understood this is a relatively solid engine, which has hardly any defects. For cylinder coating, which consists of aluminum-sil? I know engines M278 I mean the also this coating but have these come in. Why doesn’t this happen here ? Chain problem should have been fixed as I understand since the sports engines have been built ? Suction flaps should cause problems with the M272 with 272ps, what kind of technology does the sports motor that it is not affected by ? Good Mercedes workshop with G-experience in Switzerland
Hello together I wanted to drive the good community, whether you know a good MB workshop with one or other G-specialists in their ranks in Switzerland. After having put my G rather a wrong start so far (gear was defective at delivery, MB first tried it with a software update, then with the exchange of the control unit and finally with the exchange of the whole transmission, with its installation again a mistake was made (my opinion), o that I had a recurring crack in the left front suspension, which is why workshop stay No. 3 was due within the first three weeks …) . Luggage compartment Rollo does not roll up
Do you have the problem that this USA Rollo no longer roll up.Have the cap where the lock switch is on get off,so right side if you stand in front of it,I don’t get the left side without violence.Did the rollo on the open side rotate multiple times until voltage occurs, lid with switch on it again,result does not roll up.What can/must I do to roll it up on my own again???? How do I get rid of the left side without destroying the lid??,

SLK-Vario roof with lack of lacquer and joints
Hello dear community, a year ago I enjoyed the beautiful SLK – used BJ 01/11, bought directly from MB in Böblingen. Recently I noticed on the roof (only on the driver side) that the joint rubber pulls together and small paint gaps are visible. That shouldn’t happen with a 5 year old car…? During the inspection at a MB workshop I was told that they offer me the complete outer roof exchange and the costs I would have to z u 50 % (approx. 1000 €) I am not pleased about this, because I also have the “young star guarantee” for 1 year, whereby I paid attention to the purchase, because a guarantee with a used one was important to me. Well that! “the best – nothing else”. Great saying, but how does it look in reality. Can anyone give me here tips on what this is and how I can proceed here?!
