Built are: Sl63 heck with diffuser Sl63 front complete with really all parts Sl63 sweller Sl mopf 2 mirror Sl Mopf 2 bonnet SL 63 kotflügel the inlays at the side sin d WITHOUT lettering ! SL Mopf 2 AMG headlights in original black inside SL Mopf 2 shock absorber SL Mopf 2 rear lights The parts are all original. Most of them I bought with invoice at mercedes. None of them is comparable to the parts in the net. I ordered everything according to specification EPC. There is not a single bracket or even a screw missing. I believe that was it. I would possibly exchange these parts with someone who drives an obsidian black vehicle, with desprec or is someone interested in buying?

Auxiliaries for opening the fabric roof on the W107
Moin! If you want to open the convertible roof of your Mercedes SL type w107 alone, this is usually stuck at the lower corner when the fabric roof is sunk. Spicy oldtimer restorers have developed a sheet metal which can easily be clamped in the body and thus the roof is very easy to open. Because this corner (everyone who has a W107 SL convertible, knows which corner I mean) now slips completely resistance-free over the “holy tin” and the roof is open back-to-back! Danac h you take the two sheets off again and store them in the roof box. Since I don’t even know how to call them in the technical language, I can’t advertise them either! Because I have a brand new pair of Nirostablech with fabric reinforcement left, because I now drive an SLC – the SL was sold before the sheets were finished. So give the extra for a w107 SL handmade tin pair for the 65.- paid by me gladly.Portofrei. (I hope the admin is hi he is a little generous, whether the wrong category…)

Fuel pressure too high (K-Jetronic)
Hello community! I am currently working on an SL 380, built in 1981, American version. The car starts, and goes out after 3 seconds. In good old tradition only ignition sparks measured, was there. After that fuel pressure, pressure gauge connected to the cold start valve of the K-Jetronic. When I bridge the pump relay, a pressure indicator of over 10 bar, i.e. almost stop, surprised me. Also another pressure gauge brought the same display. I also hear loud flow noises at d the pump. Since I suspect an overpressure valve on the fuel pump, I hit the pump with a rubber hammer, the pressure slowly migrates to 8 bar. I assume that the error is due here. SLK R171 leather seats defective on the Y-seam
If you have a SLK R171 with leather seats, you should always complain about the Y-Nacht with Mercedes. If the vehicle still has a warranty, the seat covers will be replaced free of charge. I have now returned my second R171 SLK 200K, year 09/08, because the leather problem cannot be solved. The car has not even run 15TKM. Mercedes is known for the problem, but does not want the leather covers to be sewn. Mercedes has tried the following unsuccessfully so far: the filling material under the Y-seat was cut out so that the seat can lower. But in my opinion the leather got worse, because with the modified seat covers, the leather lasted 2 months. Zuletz has dyed the leather through Mercedes. Now it still peels off, but is not quite as bright anymore. Who wants to drive his R171 longer should keep an eye on the leather seats in the area of the Y-seat on the seat and the back cover. Brake discs change back right, don’t go down.
Yesterday I changed both brake discs and brake cheeks in front. Today it’s the rear axle. Starts on the right. Brake cheeks changed, brake disc after loosening a screw, removed and replaced. GT fuel consumption actually can’t be believed
I can’t believe it myself, but it’s like that.I’m still in the drive-in phase because the GT only has 2400km.Now for this weekend, the cabrio enjoyed and refueled.The tour through the Black Forest was 229km until I was back at my house fuel station.Of course it was a cozy tour, the boardcomputer showed 9.5 ltr./100km consumption on average. SLK, Bj. 98, howling in cold condition, what is it?
Moin, unfortunately, a noise bothers me which I can not really locate. Need extended help from you. The howling occurs at cold start, rather between 40 and 60 km/h. I thought to first it occurs directly before the switching process, but after manual switching through the gears I found that the howling is dependent on speed. It also doesn’t cry permanently, but sporadically, also not directly when load changes. If the window is opened, I don’t hear it, only in the inside. As soon as there is temperature in the car, everything is quiet after a short drive, as it has to be. – No problems with the switching operations. – Turning the engine in service is easy. – Gear oil has been changed fresh. – In the summer the middle bearing of the cardan shaft was replaced.
