Hello , am new here in the forum. I have read here many times and have a question to you now, hope you can help me: I have a s500 w220 bj99 unfortunately without Xenon. Now I got DEPO headlights (I know nothing about original, but I got them cheaply). Now my problem is that the headlights have a normal connection to the vehicle plug, but the headlights have another cable, which looks out in the back. but no further free cable. I think that this cable is for the LWR, so I am irritated that every w220 has an automatic LWR as standard. PS I still have an original Bosch headlight here, which does not have this further connection, he must still have an LWR inside, Isn’t that right?

W220 S320 motor control lamp on when LPG tank is empty
Hello! With my S320 with Prins gas system I drove the gas tank empty this morning and as always the system then jumped on petrol. At the same time however the engine control light approached and the engine was in emergency run. Shortly later in the parking lot I still parked in trek mode. I started off and again: Lief again normal, only the lamp remained on. In the manual it says that the lamp after emptying (from the petrol tank) after 3-4 start operations is extinguished. I also try, however, without success. Does this happen every now and then, that happens with the LPG-learing? (Was now the first time) Does the lamp only turn off in the workshop? Mercedes automatic selector lever blocks before parking position, “P” limits impossible
Hello, dear community, with my Mercedes SL R129, 1998, Mopf 2, with 5-speed automatic, which I already own and drive for several years, suddenly the parking position “P” can no longer be inserted. The selector lever only goes up to “R” and then blocks, just as if you didn’t operate the foot brake (of course I did). The ignition key can also not be pulled off, if I have switched the engine to position “N”. The car drives and switches otherwise al In other contributions, you can refer to the brake light switch or to the selector lever module. Can you test the brake light switch yourself? Where is it? Does anyone have a photo of it? Is there perhaps an unlocking on the R129, so that “P” can be inserted again? Should I perhaps disconnect the battery? Maybe a egg lkrton control has “hanged up”? Hello together, still I waved – but the spring is still waiting for you;-)… According to the sheer values of the acceleration the vehicles do not give much . Dangers I am only the SL55, but this was already excellent! However, because I like the Mopf2 optically much better, I wonder if the “missing” 112hp make the roast “so fat”, or the difference (nm, 0-100 etc.) to the SL55 is so very noticeable (let’s leave an open vmax outside here) Thank you very much.

Good evening, since 2003 I drive a SL 350 as a second vehicle. I bought the car new and it is very well maintained. I drive the car only from April to October and have nearly 100,000 down. I love the car and don’t actually need the money. Now I am faced with the decision whether to keep the car or sell it. For 2 years the mud has piled up. In France the cover disaster blocked. We were absolute exotics. The Mercedes workshop has the roof manually closed and warned me to open the roof again. most beautiful weather and we drive on holiday closed on the Atlantic. At home nothing could be detected anymore. Then Xenon headlight left. Several times in the workshop 2 x parts changed. Over 1400 € cost. I believe the aging of the electronics becomes a problem. Would actually like to moth the car and drive occasionally later. But as already said, my main concern is that the many electronics the vehicle is perspective too What do the professionals mean? Hello dear ones, I know it’s Gescmack thing but I would also like to hear your opinion.. I have had a Mercedes SL 500 R230 year 2003 with 113TKM since the beginning of 2014. At the beginning it was original and gradually changed according to my preference and taste… ZB.Comfort Vario roof module, AMG bumper front & rear, Carlsson exhaust system, AMG rear lights, AMG rear spoiler, lowering with coupling rods, (MAE design) GNB front 9×20 ET30 rear 12×20 ET32 with 1cm & 2cm S pure plates per axle, widened back with sheet metal so that the tires fit and do not grind…. Jaaa Now comes my question… I would like to let LSD make the gullwing doors but how is it now 2015??? is it to Macho moderate?? or just embarrassing??? What do you mean??? I have already looked around Mobile.de and also here in the forum: Oh yes, if it should make a difference with the above points: I would prefer a long version. G270cdi electrics spins, nobody gets it
Oh, man, I’m really frustrated. I finally got “my” G, drove home from the dealer 300km, complacent, super and great. Then at home, first a little beauty care and a few little things up. Stand 2 days. On the evening of the 2nd day suddenly the headrest passenger side only went up, not down any more. However, it was probably on the switch, because when a memo button of the seat setting was pressed, she drove down again. Only manually it was not possible. The first morning, the very first exit. On boarding I heard a rat in the passenger footroom. I knew the sound, there hangs a relay. Started, driven, but only in the already mode, faster than 50 would not work. Suddenly, suddenly after 5min, everything normal and he drove unreservedly. After another 10min stopped, a small errand was made, again when entering the relay noise. I got nervous. Go. Everything normal, a luck. But after c. 5min drive the engine goes off See ESP, ABS, etc. Errors are reported in the on-board computer. Engine no longer starts, the starter doesn’t even start turning. Rolling out at the side stripe. Workshop passes, start aid, everything does nothing. ADAC comes and drags me to the Bosch service on the advice of the workshop. He has been whirling around for 10! days and finds nothing. They even towed the car to Daimler. No result. He doesn’t start, always brings error messages. Front Sam has been replaced, then limps. Res SAM, and what is it? Nothing. I despair. Has anyone ever heard such a thing? Is there an electric G-pop? Guys, that sucks all the joy of me, I’m close to showing the edging the grudge shoulder.

I am there also “only” part-takers. We met in the gravel pit Holling, Forstweg 6, 25560 Puls. It is a larger terrain, on which can also be driven free.
