After a few months of thinking and testing and searching, I just got weak last week…… and now he’s my 🙂 It’s a SLK350, R171 of course, sport motor with the fleet of 305 hp in Palladium silver and with black equipment and the red seams, BJ 05/10 and 39000 on The Tacho. That’s all for now. Now I hope to get one or the other good suggestion. Look forward to it. Greetings from the Allgäu. Uwe

  • Slide dissolves from my panorama roof

Hello SLK Gemeinde I have a used SLK350 R172 year 07.2011 with Young Star Warranty. At the front of the Panorama roof the foil has dissolved, which is visible from the outside. What my branch Rhein-Ruhr Center Neuss also confirmed to me.The friendly took photos of the replaced foil.He sent these photos to Berlin to clarify the overname of the costs. After a week came the answer from Berlin. It is not a guarantee case. It would be only an optical impairment. Mercedes would take over half of the costs for a new panoramic roof. And now comes the banger. The panorama roof costs 1800Euro the installation of the panorama roof again 1200Euro. My branch would also take over 500Euro.That means for me a part of 1000Euro.I am not ready to pay this 1000Euro.Who knows the problem and can help me further or give me a piece of advice what I can do in this case. Quote from Mercedes:Jung e Stars as Mercedes as on the first day Greetings to the SLK municipality otter-62

  • R172 What winter rim sizes are you driving?

Hello in the round, I had my flicker raise his summer rubbers yesterday on the 17′ available when buying and have now four Pirelli winter tyres with 2x7mm and 2x4mm residual profile left. What is the most unskillful doing with it? My tyre dealer of trust has presented me with two scenarios, as I want to buy 4 aluminiums next winter. 1) 17″ Buy aluminiums for my other tyres. Probably advantages with stuck snow covers. But more badly plows through mud. Lu This means that a Conti winter tire per Pneu costs 45 euros more than with 16″ note from me, I need fresh snow chains or starting aids again and calculate here with approx. 200 Euro 2) 16″ buy aluminiums and the 17″ Pneus for a handful of Euros once in autumn and in spring down. Unfortunately is very clumsy. But for 16″ I still have chains and the wheel box becomes more accessible. I drive a lot and the safety goes ahead. So far I had 16″ on my C class and ka Except for the one snowstorm Friday this winter, there had to be chains up and I didn’t get them mounted and removed in the wheel box. What are you driving and how satisfied are you with it?

  • SLK present? R172

Hi. Find a JW as a gift for my wife. At yesterday’s test I wanted to adjust the seat manually in height. First I slipped at the lever and almost cut myself. Then I was afraid that the lever would not create my wife’s 60kg and break off. Jmd has had experiences in this regard?

  • Differential oil

Hello Together I have opened new topic to Differential Oil, as I found nothing to R class in the forum. Has someone already changed oil? I will soon make oil change. I have asked Mercedes Benz, and wait for answer which oil comes in. According to the internet comes in an 85w90 oil. Differential Oil Change should be quite easy. Differential has two screws (inbus screws). Venting and draining screws. In the WIS I could find nothing to the topic. first turn out the upper vent screw 3. Turn out the drain screw and release oil. 4. Clean the drain screw and turn in.(I saw the screw Teflon tape was put on it so that it is also tight) 5. Inject oil with large syringe in the vent opening until it starts to run out and immediately turn in the screw. Once I asked MB to change because of differential oil. The answer was not needed. Now when I see how to switch in the video, and what broth comes out?? I can’t imagine. What do you say about it? Ah yes it should come in up to about 1.5 liters

  • Special buildings, gadget s , tools and other

I’m opening this topic, because thanks to the strange design, it’s not possible to do so much. Zb Hand-charging, no place where you can lay it quietly, let alone Qi Laden. This Qi loader that you put in the air jets, the Rhino can’t handle at all, the lamellas break off quickly, replace it quite expensive. The variant with the stick on the dashboard, in warm countries it dissolves again, so also not of duration. Now I have thought that I can install a Qi Charger in front of the middle speaker lower level on the dashboard. There are these long distance Qi modules that can still withstand up to 26 mm distance, the dashboard will probably only have 5-8 mm. Now I also have a screen up there where the third speaker is, the Qi loader could cause disturbances here, are electromagnetic waves that are being radiated there. That would be j I will also build myself a bracket for dashboard, which adapts to the shape and is placed close to AI, so that I have the mobile phone zb for navigation in the field of view, but here the cable will be visible, which comes from the A-pillar on the dashboard to the loader, still better as at the front along the Comand ect. Drink holders that were once in the air nozzles, These individual beverage coolers for 12 V cans were a joke, making noises cool but only weak and slow. A cooling supply from the climate to the middle arm compartment also brought no freezing result, but was still better than this solo beverage cooler. Furthermore, I will install USB cans at the back of each seat row, still looking for clever cans that adapt to the Rhino, so universal dinger are not my thing. I’m sure everyone here has so little problems with the Rhino to keep up to date with the latest technology. For almost all other models there are solutions where replicas look like ex factory, only not with the Rhino.

  • Damage after BKV Callback and Exchange BKStrengthener?

After above exchange with the local big MB dealer there are considerable problems with the vehicle. 1. Engine compartment was completely oiled, different sensors have registered, so that the yellow motor lamp occasionally lighted up. 2. The V-belt was damaged. 3. The car goes into the emergency run after a longer drive, but can be converted up after manual switching and thus out of the emergency run. 4. The ABS is switched off at ever shorter intervals and a warning message is shown. Jet zt the workshop liked to install new oil noise absorbers and new wheel sensors, of course at my expense. Now my question: Was there possibly an apprentice ordered to the BKV change, which has repaired some during the removal of broken? Do possibly relevant parts of the described problem have to be expanded with to come to the BKV? Context BKV ABS News? R 300 Diesel Bj 2014 Previously the car had not made any problems.

  • G 400

Hello friends, at the moment I drive a G 300 (previously 2 X G 350 with worries ) and intend to buy a new G 400. Insiders have frowned, however, as the engine from km can cause 60,000 problems of expensive type (control chain with consequences ). Does there from you an experience with the device? Be happy about honest opinions and comradely tips. Greetings to all offroaders of Klaus
