Hello, I am also, like some here in the forum, looking for a convertible/roadster, which should only serve as a fun car and possibly be inherited. In short choice the Z4 came as a 6-cylinder, Porsche Boxstar or just an SL R230. Criteria: 1Hand, up to 30,000 km, full leather, service only in a contract workshop, purchase price up to 30,000 €. The Z4 fell due to (on me) cheap processing. Stay still Porsche and the SL. Since here in forum already high Unterhale My question is: how reliable is an SL? With this Km performance and the expected Km performance of approx. 5,000/year, nothing could happen except engine oil change. Inspection at 60,000Km (motor oil, spark plugs, air filter, brake fluid, possibly brake pads). I have been a BMW driver since 1981 and have no idea of Mercedes vehicles at all. Or do I have their own?

Even with the R-Class Mopf in summer?
After several Mercedes models this year a so-called mopf is coming up, my question, whether the sister model of the M-Class also has a mopf in the summer? It would be interesting to see if, in the course of the renewal of the command, which is not exactly called the hit, at least, is coming into the R-Class! And Mercedes will probably not support the Serbling registration statistics with a missing mopf any more, right? Otherwise the R-Class loses in its own house against M, GL and from autumn against GLK still more terrain…..

W140 disappeared or disappeared…
Good day, may any of you know a “rentner” or collector’s garage where you can still find top W140? So really vehicles with kilometers around 20,000? I had to endure a video recently on the Internet by some Russians, “circles” having shot with an S600… Really bad to see that when I then looked at the odometer I saw 38,000!! I was really shocked to see this because from the outside the vehicle saw rather like an unkept 300,000km Car off. I hope there are enough collectors in this country to secure these cars! Maybe someone even owns an original AMG, I would be really grateful for information Although I saw a real top S600 a few months ago for 30,000€ and 4,000km!!!! This car was for 1 day in a public sales portal and the next day away again! With 30,000€ for such a vehicle really is already gifted!

Today I had nothing else to break my car in the DB workshop for the purpose of A-Assyst (oil and filter change at Mr. Wash for € 54). The invoice———a banger whole € 32,41 plus MwST. And then say a Mercedes is expensive???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????. -….??????????????????????.???????????????????????????????????????????????????????.???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? I don’t even think it’s a bad excuse book.

Which rim width and what tyre size ?!
Moin Moin. I’m already excited like a schnitzel. Tomorrow my sl finally goes to the workshop to clear out the mistakes a bit. I will probably follow this new trend and ride quite KONKAVE rims Ic h have the following selection. 8.5×19 5×112 ET 35 or 45 10×19 5×112 ET 25 or 35 So now for everyone short. The rims with the lower ET of course have a more beautiful look and are nice concave. Now I have several questions. There are several aspects driving behavior and optics. I am very interested in the look, but I don’t want to try a dangerous combination. So my consideration was first of all quite easy to drive around 10j. With different tires. Or Is that not recommended? Which tires you usually pull on a sl so that from the back does not look like a polo ( so it looks now from 235 he tires with 5 cm track plates each ) And if I drive at the front 8.5 and at the back 10j , what comes in question for front ? 1) Does the laminated glazing also bring advantages in terms of indoor noise or is it only of advantage in terms of thermal protection. Does anyone have practical experience ? I find it a pity that this option only exists in connection with the darkened windows. 2) Does one of you not have Airmatic and drives the new standard steel suspension all around ? Limit Delivery Time => Infinite?
Servus dear R-Klässler, I’m considering taking an R-Class as a company car, the leasing conditions seem to be quite favorable at the moment. I’m actually only at the beginning of March next year, the dealer told me, however, that now ordered R-models would only be manufactured in Q1/2008 and then again 6-8 would be added for shipping. The forum search did not really satisfy me, my question thus: Can you take such long delivery times (6-7 months) from the signature to the Confirm vehicle delivery? And one more question: I’m not a Mercedes driver so far, so: Is the Command APS worth it? Thank you & Greeting!

Dealer presentation W464 cancelled
In the inbox I found today the cancellation of the new presentation planned for 07 July at my “Friendly” (PLZ 54). “With today’s status, Daimler AG informed us that due to too many orders we cannot count on the targeted SUVs.” No new date was thought up. There seems to be a serious problem, regardless of “too many orders”.
