  • Trainer controller? Cold type controller? Problem with 270cdi

    Moin moin, I have a little problem with my cube again after a long time…. it has crept in since 10,000km the following. Every time the car is cold it runs round… or does not really hang on the gas… Start and so on everything is unproblematic… when I then start slowly, and he has reached the 30kmh in the village and hangs on the accelerator, Then man notices that he runs round. I try to express it with letters: Quasi makes the engine sound not wuuuuuuuuuuuuu and he drives normally at the speeds for which I press on the gas but when he has reached the speed he makes wuuu….wuuu….wuuu…wuuu This of course only notices at low speed. If I drive faster e.g. on the federal road or so everything is fine. Even if it is warm, it is immediately gone…. When I noticed that the first time he started the next day no more… we read out mistakes. d then camshafts and crankshaft sensor implausible values and additionally still accelerator sensor sporadic. I then switched cams and crankshaft sensor and it immediately jumped again. And also ran since. Only this wuuuuuuuu wuuuuu is always there when it is cold.   • Inspection/costs

    Moin together, yesterday picked up the cube from (my) first inspection. Loose 1.157,23€ (all gross) were to be paid without having done anything special. 11,5l engine oil (á 32,78€ = 376,97€) were also included, 2 filter inserts á 54,75€. The windscreen wipers should be a snapper for around 150,0€. I did not make it, because I found the gilded windscreen wiper on a silver car did not fit. Will buy me again the one from Bosch for 19,00€ / pair if necessary. mostly disturbed that I was told the “feel hardened”. I mounted the windshield wipers in August ’14, there should be nothing hardened, shouldn’t it? Take off? Happy to hear about your experiences! Best regards! Lars

  • G-Class purchase advice for absolutely ignorant / conversion to gas possible?

    Hello together, actually I’m rather on the road in the BMW forum, get in touch with you today with a concern. I’ve already caught my father several times looking at mobile for older G-classes. Since I know my father, he drives cheaply shot W124ers. He certainly does not feel bad financially, but I think in his life he would never spend more than 7-8k EUR for himself for a car. I, however, as a spoiled son, have of course directly z u my 18th from him get a thick 3rd BMW… Since I have saved something by now, but have no idea of cars at all I wanted to ask you, can you get a well-kept G class for about 30k EUR? I don’t know about the vehicle at all, have also no acquaintances in the circle of friends who have their focus there. Therefore the question to you .. makes sense to look in the budget for vehicles at all? Which model series and engines are reliable? W Or should I keep it the same? Not that the car is only in the workshop at the end and we have to put in another 10k EUR. Oh yes, what do you think about upgrading to gas? Are there special engines that are well suited for this? Would I be very pleased about some information!

    Dear G-meinde, after many years of enthusiasm for the Mercedes G-model I finally decided to buy a G. Since I want to keep the vehicle for a long time it should become a new car, which I order as desired. I tested the model G350 a weekend and am enthusiastic. The performance is completely enough because in my eyes speeds over 160 with the G do not really bring joy. For fast driving I have other vehicles. As I said, I want to keep and use the car in the long term. I live in Munich within the ring. Drive approx. 10,000 KM a year, only short distance plus holiday trips. I then asked the MB seller to adjust the offer to the 500s. The price difference is adjusted for equipment approx. 10,000 EUR (I assumed more). EIn familiar has now told me that the sound of the 500er with sports exhaust could interfere with longer rides (sports package is a must for me for optical reasons) and the torque of the diesel is more pleasant in everyday life. However, I am very interested in a dignified driving noise on track. The man drove a year 500er and now the 350. Also the consumption of the V8 in urban traffic is just under 30 liters. Is that really so? Can the sports exhaust be switched on and off at the 500er at the push of a button? Is the adaptive F ahrwerk a must for comfortable driving? Or also a tip to my problem: Have installed original ZV, no control unit or in the driver’s door in the encoder, 2 switching units in passenger door and tailgate. Green control lamp extra left in the instrument unit. Current pulses also arrive in the receivers, but does not switch.     Moin I bought an iCarsoft V3.0. The reason was to read out errors without having to drive to MB. I also read in the description that the sliding roof can be set. Another important reason was to learn the new injectors. Now I got the device and connected it. Error reading works well. But unfortunately the device does not recognize the VIN Also the possibilities are not given to learn the injectors. “No support with this Fa It will be displayed instead.   • 19 or 20 inches… that’s the question.

    Well… I’d like to mount the RS8 rim from Lorinser (turbine design, see photo) on my SL 55. But I’m unscathed if I should take 19 inches (because of the comfort) or 20 inches (because of the optics). On my last one I had the 19 inches version and was absolutely satisfied by the comfort. Thought even that there was still a bit of air to drive possibly even 20 inches. But now I’ve never driven a R230 with 20 inches tire. I would therefore be at subjective Ein druecken/Experiences interested, from drivers with 20 inch tyres. I would also be interested, which tires one could use, in order to have it with the size still to the maximum “soft” (there should be also again immense differences). Please help me, since I would like to order the wheel set on Tuesday and actually have decided until then.

  • SLK32AMG —- Small things

    Hello together. Have a few small defects with my SLK. Maybe one or the other can help me here. 1) If I stand at the traffic light at the inserted driving stage the speed is pushed so far into the cellar that the engine even runs a little rough. According to the workshop they can’t set anything ect., because all this does the control unit. Only I can’t really believe that you can’t do anything there. Maybe there’s one or the other 32A here. MG driver, who can see if his car reacts exactly like this. 2) Every now and then, when I turn on the ignition, I have a disgusting, loud whistle noise that comes from the radio.   • Experience with distance discs

    Hello all, I have 10mm distance discs on my SL55 rear. Actually, this looks quite good, but 15 mm would be optically ideal. Has someone installed 15mm windows in the rear? Has someone installed distance discs in the front? my Mercedes-master advised me for the front of it, otherwise one swims constantly in the lanes. Is this true?? I am not only about the optics, it should also be easily mobile. Maybe someone can help me further. VG von Ulrich
