Hello have a question to the Mercedes specs ! Have somewhere a power thief located at the battery it is not it has been replaced by a new one and the error is the same, it may be that the car pulls electricity somewhere because I do not lock the car ? leave it almost open because the key has gone kaput and I only have a “workshop key”. can it be that because the battery is drawn empty within 2 hours ?

Replacement shock absorber rear axle left on the SL500 (R230) year 10/2001
After 1-2 days of service life, my vehicle kicks off on the left side of the rear axle because of a slightly oily shock absorber. Does it make sense to install a reworked shock absorber, e.g. at Ebay or other source in exchange? I drive the vehicle only as a lover vehicle in summer only approx. 5000 km. repair and screw on the vehicle yourself, falls flat with me! At the same time I am looking for an experienced (ABC – suspension) workshop in the Rhineland, (possibly Cologne + 70 km), which costs me the necessary assembly and, if necessary, the procurement of the necessary replacement part, in their workshop. Retrofit NTG 2.5, four strokes in the instrument cluster
Hello, I have changed the old Comand 2.0 DX to an NTG 2.5 on a pre-mopf-R230 in the last few days. I have made the corresponding adapter myself. The device itself works correctly, but it is not possible to operate via the steering wheel or only four strokes (—-) appear in the instrument cluster at TEL, NAVI and AUDIO. Also no volume control is possible on the steering wheel. At the instrument cluster already the D2B protocol has been recoded to the MOST protocol. SG reset was also carried out afterwards. I would have assumed that the command is not connected to the CAN bus and therefore only four strokes can be seen, however, with the SD can be accessed without errors on the command. What could it still be on? The command is taken from a Sprinter test by test. There it works with key operation and AI display impeccable. It should nevertheless work despite other series also on the R230 or not ?
