  • 90,000 inspection SL500 R129 Bj97

Hello, I once had a Mercedes offer for the 90,000n inspection for my SL500 and I had to be amazed, it is my first Mercedes vll. therefore the question to you if all this is so normal… 00-3016 Maintenance service 90,000 52 AW 527,80 42-1423 Brake fluid change 4 AW 45,80 15-1010 Spark plugs and mount 17 AW 209,95 07-5563 Fuel filter renews 7 AW 80,15 40-1450 Wheels all from and mount 7 AW 80,15 MN916002 012100 Clamp 2 Pcs 3.02 M A002 477 26 01 Fuel filter 1 pc 20.61 MA003 1596703/26 Spark plug 8 pc 30.40 MA119 180 00 09 TS Filter Insert 1 pc 14,47 MQ0245901 Engine oil MB 229.5 8 l 155.20 MA000 989 08 07/13 Brake fluid 1 17,11 MA999 999 99 Disposal Brake fl.1 2,20 Final price net 1186.86 Final price gross 1412.36 I already thought the Mercedes driving is a bit more expensive, but if I look at the individual positions then I have to ask what they are doing or if it is really so complicated i I don’t know how to count the AW, but someone can also say something. For mounting the tyres almost 100 euros? And what do they have to do at all? I don’t know brake fluid change with mounted tyres is that possible with Mercedes? 250 euros to turn 8 spark plugs off and on again? Are they so difficult to access? And what do they do for the more than 600 euros at the service? Unfortunately, I don’t have the German maintenance booklet yet because it’s a Japan reimport han Delt. Everything that goes towards, 8 enders and then gets upset about something like that I don’t need here… about all the other answers that help in the context I’m happy!

  • Central locking does not respond cause detected

Hello, I had reported here about the problem with the central locking (burning the fuse when operating the ZV). I have now had time to disassemble the control of the central locking system and would like to tell you the result or the cause of the fault of the ZV. See also the pictures in the appendix: Picture 1: The control is located in the trunk under the hydraulic pump for the Vario roof. Extension for hobbyists: solve the 4 nuts in each corner of the pump (SW10). Pump for Vario roof high Take off the electrical plugs (2 pieces) and mark pneumatic lines so that they are not switched when installed. Pull off pneumatic lines. The line with the filter is the suction line and does not need to be removed. Figure 2: Extensive ZV control. The control is closed like a tupper can. The lid can be opened by pulling. Figure 3: Inside you can use the circuit board for the control d The pump is nothing more than an electric motor with a housing in which a rotor rotates and creates the air pressure for the locks. Picture 4: Unlock all screws on the head of the pump, remove the lid and you can see the exposed rotor and also the problem: The rotor is smashed!! It blocks the motor, motor works against, pulls more current and fuse burns through. Picture 5: This is how the rotor should look like. Picture 6: So si The rotor is made of a ceramic plastic and is hopelessly too weak for the load. So it has nothing to do with water damage. The control/pump was absolutely dry. Unfortunately, it is hardly possible to get only the rotor, a 50Cent part. At Mercedes the control costs 780€ + control! My car has run a whole 40000Km. And I should now buy a new control for 1000€ every 3 years. Mercedes will buy thisma I receive a letter from me… Greetings Volker

  • have risked it 😉 cl 55 amg

hello together, probably I will get from you now strongly on the cover, how you can buy such a car 🙂 cl 55 amg compressor 6/2003 208,000 km 14,000 € 6. Hand !!! private buy yes I know, such a car you don’t buy. but I consciously got involved on this adventure… pro: – for me the horniest car in the world !!! – with the purchase costs is still enough air for repairs contra: – do not need an additional car – thousands warnings in this forum 😉 of course h abe i have the car tested at tuv before and except for brake hoses everything is ok. made, tuv new, then to super conditioner in bamberg (grey leather like new, black paint now note 2), new 2-piece amg rims styling 3, 19 inches, with michellin pilot sport bought 275er back, fits on it,!!! according to my opinion now is really great there 🙂 now comes of course the abc chassis… – white abc message comes in city traffic (on ample after light clack noise), but is de I’m not so bad because after reboot I’m back away (comes down with shorter bars) – red stop report I sometimes start early, but then I’m going up… – when I’m driving it feels a little spongy in the back and with holes I have the feeling to be easily moved…. what this can be, I read thanks to your great contributions but I don’t want to be in my mercedes branch, because I’ve been experiencing the pure fiasco for years !!! m a question: does someone from the North Bavarian region (or no matter where) know a specialist ? I’m sure it’s possible to have to take in my hands a few tauseners, but I’m looking for someone who also knows outside of the error codes !!! would be very happy about infos nice greeting bugeko

  • W220 – No warm air from the middle nozzle when setting the car

Hello guys, I’m new here and right in advance “Hut ab”, what you do here! I could also find a lot of useful tips and saved me a lot of money and trouble. THANK YOU!!! But now to my request: Vehicle: S400CDI Mopf, Ez. 2004 The problem: since this winter I notice that no warm air comes from the middle nozzle and only when the middle wheel of the middle nozzle is set to “auto”. To increase blower level (no car mode in the KA) does not lead to success, the flaps of the Medium nozzle for the warm air is easy too! My remedy so far: the middle wheel from the “auto” position turn down very little, then a certain amount of cold air (fresh air) is mixed to it, but the middle nozzle heats a little. What I also hear: when I put the above-mentioned wheel on “auto” some flap (hearable between AI and medium nozzle) closes, although side nozzles open fully (e.g. in the morning when I drive away, is cold outside and a certain engine temperature reaches cht ist) Additional information: I think that I also have the problem with the “residual heat” when I press it, comes out in short relatively cold air, although engine still quite warm, but whether this is related to above-mentioned problem? I’m not sure. I’m grateful for every hint! Oh yes, just want to mention and protect myself preventively from being called “post-failing”: drive today on vacation and will stay away for a few days, i.e. can’t answer your comments immediately Or wish you happy holidays and a happy New Year! May the Mercedes gods be gracious, we bring the sacrifice enough. Greetings from Austria Sano

  • MP3 player for the (old) Comand 2.0 – finally a solution

Hello, I finally discovered a reasonable way to get the old Comand to play MP3s. You can refer to the “Mercedes Player 040” here: www.mercedes-player.com The player is simply connected instead of the CD changer. It is equipped with 2 SD and 2 Compact Flash card slots each, in which you can plug all cards, also and especially cards with high capacity. The operation is extremely easy – the player holds every card slot for a CD, so that the complete operating functions of Comand and steering wheel keys are completely preserved. The attached images show how the device looks like in the built-in condition – for the sake of simplicity it was simply fixed with Velcro tape on the CD-Wechlser, the cables were removed from the CD-changer and then plugged back into the Mercedes-Player (one needs patience and slim fingers, if one does not want to expand the changer!): Advantages: Extremely good sound quality, overhaup t no comparison to the futzel with FM transmitters. Also an iPod connected via dock connection to the AUX socket in the glove compartment cannot keep up. With the Mercedes player the thing is again really fun because of the comparatively really good sound. Vibration-insensitive – no more dropouts on bad roads. Uncanny fast track, folder and media changes. Disadvantage: No display of the contents of the ID tags, however not the Mercedes-Play It’s his fault, but the comand, logically. The costs are really within the scope with approx. 230 euros, especially if you look at the alternatives on the market. I bought the device directly from the manufacturer, who was extremely hard-working and helpful, even helped with the installation and that even on the Pentecost weekend – hat off. Previously we had 4 gigs and 8 gig SD-High Capacity cards to report no problems. • 350 Z in winter and fuel

Hello! As it looks like, I’m going to get a 350 Z. I totally fell in love with this car! I hope it’s the right decision. But I have two questions for you. Do you drive your 350 Z in winter too? How are you doing with it? I’ve been informed about winter tyres, but you can’t put any less tires on it than in summer. That can be a problem in winter, right? Yes and then because of the fuelling. The 350 Z needs Super plus. Ka I’m driving a BMW of 3, so Super plus would be recommended, but I’m always super lead-free. But there’s a difference between recommended and prescribed. Thank you for your answers! Best regards Loonababy

  • Which Porsche pulls the 350 Z?

I don’t like the Porsche. Of course he has the better driving performance. Of course he is one of the few true sports cars. Nevertheless, he doesn’t matter if GT3, Carrera 4 and so on always the same. I don’t know about it. The 350 Z is completely different, it’s refreshingly new and stands out completely from the boring everyday cars. I have it now for a week and don’t want to be stupid at traffic lights. That’s why I have a few questions for you. 1. What is a realistis cher value of 0-100? I believe that the factory specification is 5,9. Is it possible to achieve it clearly under 7 seconds with some practice? 2. Which Porsches do I have a chance against? Please do not just assume from factory specifications. 3. Most Porsche drivers I know are automatic drivers, are automatic Porsches slower than manuals at 100km/h? Thanks already in advance for the answers
