Hello, I’m new here and have spent some time searching the forum, unfortunately without success. I drive a SL350 BJ 2004 without ABC, not lowered and no RDK. I love with the rims of Carlsson 1/16 BE in VA 8.5 x 19″ and HA 10 x 19″. Lt. Price list are installed with the 8.5 x 19 16mm distance discs and with the 10 x 19 20mm. All this should be possible without reworking. Now to my questions: 1. I recommend with the vehicle of 19″ regarding comfort and security or for any other reason? 2. What about the factory warranty regarding the distance discs? Have a picture set on which you can see this combination and I find, …….. a real “Hingucker” or??

With my SL 350 R230 from 2003 SRS is permanently lit in the rev indicator field. I first checked the fuses in the engine compartment on the left, everything ok. My SL 500 BJ 2003 was now about 4 months old. After about 15 minutes ABC error (white font) of the driving behavior was quite normal. I then turned around and on the way home then: ABC STÖRUNG STOP (red font). At the traffic light I noticed then that my SL has changed into a ML. The car pumped up to the top… What can this be about? Is this a defect in the damper or is it rather due to the steering wheel. advises, because the damper seems to work… I am grateful about any help, coupling rod or similar are not installed. Thank you !!

Hello to all SL drivers, I want to hear my SL600 a little bit more and a little nicer. Does anyone have experience with another exhaust system? There are several suppliers, but no one has a sound file to listen to. I want to listen to deeper/bassier, but not loud – just a little more presence. What is the quality and fit accuracy of the alternative systems? (I don’t want the body to be worked around.) uspuff systems that can be turned louder and quieter at the push of a button. Is there something similar for the R230? Last question: Are there any problems with the DC warranty if you change something on the exhaust? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I would like to change the matte silver interior strips of my SL R231 by water transfer process in carbon optics. In my former BMW’s, the interior strips were removed without any problems, or a guide for the extension was found. Therefore my question: Does anyone have a guide for the interior strips? Hello together, I bought a SL 500 R129 on the first day when I wanted to register it, I did not get the car with the infrared remote controls any more. It didn’t want to flash green or open and if you unlock the door with the key is the immobilizer inside and the alarm goes off at the start. I thought it was due to the batteries but these were exchanged and after 2-3 hours it worked again. It happens every 1-2 weeks that it nic ht works and after that you can open or close normally again. Both keys don’t work – so it can’t be because of it. Did someone have this problem before or knows what it might be? Thanks Pat
