  • Consumption R350?

    Hello to the round, we are interested in a R-Class as 350 gasoline. About consumption as far as the 320CDI is concerned, I have read several times. Does anyone have experience with an average consumption as far as the 6 cylinder petroler is concerned? Were yesterday in the DC branch. On my question how realistic the stated combined consumption of 11.5l is, the seller stated, with 16liter !! would one hit the point better?! In addition, the torque of the petroler for the 2, 3to eh too low and thus the consumption would automatically increase by high speeds?! Well, know the 350 from the W211 and find the engine basically awesome. With an approximate mileage of 12000km a year, a diesel less comes into question (at least as far as the ratio is concerned). Would be class if someone could advise me. Thanks in advance frauschnupp2

  • Child seats in the R-Class

    Hello, have in the new R-Class 3 child seats next to each other (2nd row of seats) so that you can still get to the belts?   • Linguatronic Full-word entry in Switzerland

    Hello colleagues, I’m new here and I have the following question (… and so far I haven’t found a clear answer): I live in Switzerland and I got a SL350 (R230, 2009, Mopf II). As it turns out, this is a vehicle originally sold/approved in DE, which Linguatronic has installed in the Comand. Therefore, the entire electronics in the vehicle is set to DE (according to MB there is some country code for the whole vehicle. g applies…). Problem: Town & street names can currently only be entered for German destinations in full word entry (i.e. without having to spell everything). Although the system language of the command is set to German, and we also speak this language here. If I now choose the country “Switzerland” when entering a destination, Comand tells me with “whole word entry not possible”! Can someone tell me why this is so and how I use the whole word entry additionally (or alternatively) for Switzerland? I assume that the digital data for a Swiss full-word entry is already available on the system (or at least can be played with a card update). I have contacted several MB garages here, but unfortunately so far unsuccessful – no one could help me without having to raise money for an “try” without a guarantee of success. I was assured, however, that with new vehicles sold in Switzerland, a whole-word so at least the digital data on (newer?) card DVDs should be available. Thanks for the help, Christoph

  • finally … a 560SEC parked in my garage … 🙂

    So, yes I think, then I say hello! After half a year of searching I finally found a matching w126. Contrary to my original plan to buy me a 500SE it has now become a 560SEC in my dream color combination graphite metallic with light grey Alcantara leather. The car is BJ.01/1990 has run well-kept 238Tkm and is absolutely rust-free as far as on the rear window frame. Lt. ClassicData report he has a 2.4 and is accident-free. It stands on newly prepared but equally old BBS RS and has no accident damage, but probably already repaintings behind it, as the varnish is virtually perfect. Also the extension can be seen: – ABS – ASR – 2 airbags – El. sliding lifting roof – air conditioning automatic (which works) – Alcantara leather in light grey – El. seats – seat heating – 4 x El. Fh. – El. steering column – El. Asp. – El. belt carrier – 4 headrests – original Becker Radio – El. antenna – middle armrests vo. + hi. – Edelholzausstattung – Conversion to Euro 2 / D3 Everything is going perfectly. The drive home from Münster to Munich went well. The car starts immediately, very quiet and the automatic switches clean. Works which are standing by: – repair rear window frames. – refill the climate – look at brakes – car pulls slightly to the left when braking violently a nice car! … Greetings

    Hello professionals. In the morning my G500 MJ 2016 always shows up the message “Refill coolant, the engine is warm the message is gone. I assume that very little is missing, so that the rise due to heat expansion already enough to wet the sensor again. Now my question: I would have just poured some water back in the past.   • G63 ./. 500 consumption

    Good evening love “G”emeinde, I am currently thinking about changing to a new petrol engine. Hand on your heart with the G63 drivers, what do you use up in the middle? Yes, yes, I know, with the car absolutely the wrong question. However, I would be interested in it anyway. According to data sheets the G63 probably consumes a little less than the 500s. Although I tend for one, two reasons to the 500s (e.g. less violent appearance, acoustically as well as optically), the belly clearly signals something and eres. I drive mainly in the village and on city highways. Some times it goes over the highway every year and then always 1,000 km at a time. In the year I drive with my G only about 15,000 km, because I have two more cars. Some times I drove a G55, which had a not really comfortable travel suspension. How to rate here the G63er so? That the costs are high with the boxes is aware as a G-driver. My present diesel has an absolute full equipment un d was already on the level of a well-equipped 500er at that time anyway. So I realize what is coming. But I never had a car with which I have been so fond of driving every day for years, like with the G. So comes a new G in the house again, or I stay with my diesel cube. So, after the swarm in space, again to the point. What do you consume with your 63er or with the 500er ́n? Thank you for an info. Good evening.

  • G63… where to buy ?

    Hello all, I will replace my 350 BT with a G63 in the foreseeable future. However, since my current MB subsidiary disappoints me without exception, and definitely does not leave any possibility here, I will probably not order a car there to die. A very nice G500 driver from WL- recommended me HH, where I actually tend (beautiful city of the world and early even lived there). I don’t care now, where I order the roar cube in Germany, ic h would like only a little care, some service, possibly a reminder of a TÜV appointment and here and there a bit of accommodation, if on a > 100K€ car something is broken. I would even drive to Cologne, to Munich, to Husum, to Tinum, from me also to Hintertupfing. Only BS does not get a single € more from me. Where did you have good and possibly also less good experiences. Thank you for your comments.

  • A new introduction again

    Good day! So, after I picked up my big one on Saturday I can now officially call myself S-Class owner. First the important… the car: 560Sec Bj. 88 362000 Km Black (or rather anthracite?) metallic Which equipment was in the five-sixties now series and what was booked as an extra unfortunately I can’t say, but I don’t think there is anything missing except seat heating and travel calculator. And now to me: My name is Timo, come from Clausthal-Zellerfeld in the Harz, am 27 years old and b in mechanical engineering technicians. I am generally interested in almost every classic car (or even youngtimer). I started to buy and renovate old sweethearts a few years ago, starting with a Vespa then via an Ape and now the big jump to the German Musclecar ;-). Does the forum not want to waste right away therefore I ask right here if anyone still has a telephone installation with Nokia 2110 and about it possibly technical information? I would be generally at Informa W126, especially maintenance plans and price lists, etc. Greetings Timo

  • R-class new car discounts?

    Hello everyone. I am in the concept to acquire a new r-class from the new car stock and have already entertained myself with the friendly (dealer, not branch) about a rather lush equipped model. however I was very surprised how nimble the friendly has set the discount (8%). I find it quite lean and little sales promotion. now to the actual question: may someone mention here which discounts were negotiated? or does someone know if and which special there are actions and conditions for the r-class on the part of the daimler ag? the friendly didn’t seem to be particularly fit in this view – maybe I could then help him sell the dare. I know, sensitive subject, but it would be nice if someone might say so. thank you for reading it.

    Recently (two weeks ago) at the Mercedes dealer: BMW-Futzi: “Good day. I would like to have brochures on the R-Class. Is there something about the upcoming Facelift?” The friendly one: “A facelift at the R-Class is unknown to me. There is a special model with AMG package. I have a special brochure” and gave me documents for the Facelift in my hand.
